However I have recently started helping Lakeside House clients, who often request stops to this place. The business's workers' attitudes seemed to have improved, but today that was all proven a facade. Today I got 3 small containers of food, watching the lady ring them up. They rung up as $5.?? each, for the total to then magically bounce up an unexplained extra $5 for a total of $20. The lady had a plastic bag ready, then decided not to bag them last second. When I asked for it, she told me I should have brought my own bag!! When literally other customers in store were given bags, as were my buddies, no issues given. Worse, they treat their customers like crap across the board indirectly! They refuse to allow *paying* customers to use the Wi-Fi in a *known* dead zone, strangely at this location specifically. They have several different hostile and unwelcoming signs/ messages everywhere outside the building. Just one of them being "10 minute parking only!" So if they take longer than 10 minutes to make your sandwich, they also gonna threaten to tow!!!?? The only reason I imagine people go here is to get stuff no one else in town has, like specialty snacks and beers I've also personally never seen elsewhere. The men have been somewhat nicer, but still can't even get a smile, ever. Someone needs to get rid of miserable rude granny, and while at it get the whole place's behavior to shape up. They have a wonderful variety of flavors and if you don't feel like sitting inside and eating they will pack your pint for you to bring home. We sometimes sat inside and made our own sundae! Yes they have a small sundae bar with simple toppings. Tonight we brought the ice cream home and they let us grab some sprinkles for the grandkids so we wouldn't need to buy an entire container. Service was very good and everyone was nice and friendly.

Why I'm writing this is because this Stewarts is EXEMPLARY. It is *spotlessly* clean, including the bathrooms. The hot dog and self serve food center is constantly being cleaned, shelves are always being neatened up. Why? There seems to be a whirlwind whiz of a manager who works there. He's a tall, sandy blonde haired fella who is a blur of action, always making sure everything is presentable. I have never ever seen a Stewarts as clean and organized as this one, and it's ***always** like that. Whoever this guy is, he needs to train everyone in the company to do what he does, as he shows that excellence is possible. My local Stewart's is a mess...this one is amazing. And give him a raise!
