We've been coming to Lake Placid for several years and have never been here. Eating out is getting expensive. The corner store has just what we wanted at reasonable prices. I had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich which was packed with cranberries and so delicious! It comes on a 12 grain bread which was very soft. We will be back! I loved finding this little gem on my way back to the Albany airport! I'm gluten free and they offered a great solution...a sandwich in a container. SOLD! Just stopped in for some sandwiches and we were NOT disappointed. She got the cranberry chicken salad on 12 grain bread - AMAZING!! I got a tuna sub, it was fresh and just right. The deli meats are boar's head so you know it'll be all good. Fast pleasant service, we ended up eating at a table on their front porch in the shade, and they have some picnic tables (and parking) in the back. Went for "breakfast sandwiches" and they're pre fabbbed stuff like from the grocery store unfortunately. Good service and good coffee. For $3.69, per one Jimmy Dean style sandwich, we could have gone elsewhere. Subs and other food looked good but I would skip it for breakfast options, unless that is your thing. read more

Comfy little corner store. They have everything and good coffee to boot. Subs on fresh rolls were very good -- I'm from Philly, so they weren't Philly standard, but definitely very good. No risk with the sandwiches here. One caution -- after having a really good chicken sandwich the night before, my wife was craving a fresh egg-sausage sandwich in the morning. She ordered it and was really disappointed to find that it was a pre-made microwave deal. She was so bummed, she couldn't eat it, especially watching me tear into my delicious chicken cutlet sub. My boyfriend and I always come here for subs as we especially love the bread they use. They have always been consistently good and the ingredients are high quality but on the pricier side. We also come for their soft serve throughout the summer. They have frequent buyer cards for subs and ice creams which is nice too. read more

Highly recommend the sandwiches. Over Labor Day weekend most restaurants were a bust for wait times and high density - someone at our camp recommended Adirondack Corner Store to grab some dinner and I'm really glad we did. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich, and my sister got a turkey club. Very good bread, meat portions are clearly measured and very generous, and very friendly service when we there on Saturday night. Also cool: you can grab most of the camping supplies you forgot and firewood when you stop in for food. read more

Awesome deli that is open till 11, have never seen a deli open even close to that late. Great make your own sandwich system, they have cards and pens on the counter you can check off everything that you want like type of bread, cheese,toppings, meat ect, and then hand it to the guy behind the counter. Plenty of menu sandwiches as well. Friendly staff as well, he apologized for the wait, while it took no more than 5 minutes for 2 sandwiches. They also have soft serve icecream that was a nice suprise and VERY good. Prices were very fair, and alot cheaper than other market places in the area. Definitely recommend coming here. read more

We stopped in here to order sandwiches to-go. You go up to the counter and fill out a paper form with your order. The sandwiches were ready in about 5 minutes. I think they even use Boars Head ingredients. I didn't eat it until much later while kayaking, but it was delicious. read more
