I was quoted $3,000 for a clutch replacement and a few other things at another shop, I went to Stewart's for a second opinion and they confirmed that I did NOT need a new clutch and said that everything I would need done would cost half the price from the other shop. Was pointed to this father-son team by a coworker of mine. They typically can take my vehicle drop off the same day and get back to me by the next am. So far have had two simple repairs (weld an exhaust crack and replace a gas tank hose that was throwing a check-engine code) and one larger one (an intake manifold replacement). For the larger one they contacted me ahead of time and explained the issue and estimated costs. The the smaller two were pleasant surprises. Went in to have my sister's car inspected. They called me back promptly with diagnosis. Pricing for inspection was best in town. Mechanic (missed his name) was super nice when I came in for pick up. I think I can during his lunch but he stopped to give me my car.will use them again for our cars. Oh and waiting area is the nicest I've seen. My girlfriend and I were driving from Colorado to Baton Rouge, and planned on stopping at my sisters in Forney for the night. My car is a 2003 Honda Civic, and she struggled getting to Texas over the many hills and long interstate. With about an hour and a half left in our first leg, the A/C suddenly began blowing hot air. We decided to push through Dallas traffic in the heat of the car, and hoped the engine was just tired and would be fine after resting for the night. The next morning, the car overheated and began to smoke within 10 minutes of driving. We were from out of town and wanted to find someone who could look at the car the day of. After calling a few places, I'm so glad we found Stewarts!!! The father and son combo works out very well. They were very cooperative and willing to talk to both myself and my worried dad. They were super nice and gave me a few pieces of advice along the way. The car runs like a gem now, and we got home safely after they finished working on it!! 5/5 stars, these guys were great, the work was done well, and the price was low. Went in because my brakes had gone out. Tech checked out my car and determined it was the master cylinder. I asked for a price and the tech then took it upon himself to call a local dealer and check the manufactur warranty. He then told me it was still under warranty and sent me on my way.
