This was a waste of time and money. I visited Dr. Champagne for a breast exam and I thought that…read morethey were going to do a scan or anything else. I paid a $25 copay and left work for this appointment. They had me come in 30 min early to fill out all of this paperwork just for the doctor to tell me she's going to order an exam for my other doctor to complete and that the exam was not for now but for in two weeks. Just in case it's needed/I'm still experiencing breast pain. When asked if Dr. Champagne could write a doctors note regarding taking an extended breaks to relieve my pain from the breast discussed in the appt. She said to follow up with Dr. Poku. I'm like what is your purpose then? because the breast exam, Dr. Poku could have done. I wasted an hour of my time leaving work just for her to defer everything back to my OB. Terrible service and experience. Would not recommend.

This is for the Banner Desert location: Trying to connect with office staff by phone is a joke,…read morelong hold times and if you hold long enough, you'll be connected with an "operator" that can't schedule appointments but can maybe cancel them (recently request to cancel was not done). As far as the callback option, you may or may not be called back. I suffer from severe chronic back and SI joint pain from an unhealed pelvic fracture, so sitting in the waiting room sometimes over an hour past my appointment time is ridiculous, I shouldn't have to take a dose of morphine to get through the waiting process. I have left a couple times because of unbearable pain. Front desk agents are rude and seem uncaring. When I come in for an infusion the room is never more than 1/2 full but wait time to even be acknowledged is way too long. Dr Batra doesn't seem to care about my extenuating circumstances. I have mantle cell lymphoma which is all the stress I can bear without what I have just described added to it. Mantle cell is an incurable and aggressive cancer so time precious.

Dr. Perry Evangelista replaced both of my hips this past year. I went to him for a second opinion…read more I am 62, and I had been told I had end stage arthritis in both hips by another surgeon. The first surgeon was very nice, but I wasn't ready to hear that news, and wanted to verify. Dr. Perry agreed with the first assessment. I chose him based on several factors. First, he is a trauma surgeon, experienced in big, messy issues. He also has a great deal of experience in fixing complications from old orthopedic surgeries. He was recommended to me by a friend who had many hip replacement complications- that Dr. Perry repaired. Another reason that I chose him is that he showed me something on my imaging that everyone else missed. And it was important! I'm a retired nurse, and I think you pick the one who fixes the worst of the worst, just in case. Dr. P. Evangelista was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and explained what he would do, how it would help, and what the potential problems could be. I am 6 weeks out from my second replacement, and I couldn't be happier. I've had no complications. I am able to do a lot that I couldn't do when I first saw him. I am able to lift my grandkids, get down on the floor (and get up again), and I'm walking without a limp for the first time in a few years. I am so happy to have chosen Dr. P.Evangelista. I would highly recommend him. The staff has been very friendly to me. Front desk is very efficient and has been very pleasant/accomodating when I've called. Melissa, surgery scheduler, is great. The MA's and Xray people are always really sweet and fun. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

I'm not sure what to make of a place that prides itself on poor communication with past patients…read morebecause they are currently busy with new patients. We met with Dr. Richards today for a follow-up on a cat bite. He displayed all of the arrogance I prefer in a surgeon, but his interaction with us also highlights the difficulty of communication between a "trauma practice" and a lesser patient. David is fairly disgusted with his actual surgeon, Dr. Lu. I liked Dr. Richards, but overall the practice is disappointing. David has gotten conflicting recommendations from many parties regarding this injury and surgery. I'm still not sure what to make of the care, but I know that the psychological impact was more than expected due to poor communication. They didn't balk at pain management. Helpful, as I'm doing (legally blind girl) wound care at home. Is it that there are just too many nuances and practices are so large now? I'm not sure what to reasonably expect.

I will be bringing this up to everyone in my group to do the same. They will screw over their patients (in this case a 3 year old little girl) by asking for estimated payments. My estimated payment was $30 more than the out the door cash pay price then my insurance was bill nearly $1000 for a finger splint leaving me an additional $500 bill. Their only response was well of course we will bill the insurance and the bill is correct. My advise for anyone is first to find a new clinic that has better customer service otherwise if you have a deductible, ask for the cash price so you don't get screwed over

Dr. Pepple took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I'm incredibly grateful for the skill, care, and compassion shown by Dr. Pepple and his entire team from the front office staff to his assistants. Truly an outstanding surgeon.

From…read morethe very first appointment to my recovery, this extraordinary human being demonstrated the highest level of skill, compassion, and dedication I have ever witnessed in any medical professional. I came to him in one of the scariest, most uncertain times of my life. My condition was complex and I was filled with fear. From the moment I met Dr. Amini I felt something I hadn't felt in a long time -- hope. His calm, confident demeanor was matched by an incredible ability to explain what was going on, what needed to happen, and how we would tackle it together. I immediately knew I was in the best hands possible. The surgery (a Whipple procedure) itself was nothing short of miraculous. What others saw as a high-risk, complicated case, he approached with meticulous precision and unwavering confidence. He not only performed the operation flawlessly, but he did so with a level of care and foresight that I truly believe made all the difference in my outcome. The post-operative care I received was equally exceptional. Although, I weeks in the hospital Dr. Amini checked in constantly, listened to my concerns, and always made me feel heard and respected. This isn't just a surgeon who performs procedures -- this is someone who sees the whole person, who fights for their patients with everything he's got, and who genuinely cares. It's rare and remarkable. I will never forget it Thanks to Dr. Amini, I am here and alive. I get to work, achieve my goals, and live my life again. all because of his expertise, heart, and l unwavering commitment to his patients. If you are looking for a surgeon who specializes in pancreatic issues Dr. Amini is the best and someone who combines world-class medical excellence with amazing bedside manner. He is the absolute best -- a true hero in every sense of the word. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Dr. Amini gave me my life back. In addition, his staff is incredible! From the moment you walk in the doors you feel welcomed. All staff members treat you with respect which rare to find in the medical profession!

The coordinator proceeded to tell me I was calling the wrong area and that every time I leave a message she has to forward my call (huffing and puffing). I proceeded to TRY and ask her what number I should be dialing on the IVR - before I could, instead, she just ignored me and transferred my call. I was unsuccessful in reaching my person I needed, so I called her back to let her know that if she tells patients they are directing their calls to the wrong, area she should also provide them with a solution ex: tell them where to dial and that she was extremely rude. She then said, "your agent is ready do you want me to transfer you now?" I said "I'd like you to not be rude and then transfer me nicely!" She then said "oh, sweetie, I hope you have an amazing day!" In a condescending tone, transferred me with no apology, and my agent I needed was not available. "Great staff?" Not the plastic surgeon coordinator!

I filled out the pre surgery paperwork, noting that I was allergic to OxyContin, Percocet and any other opioid. Not because I have an addiction issue, but because I am actually allergic to them. Like deathly allergic. I am also allergic to penicillin. I appreciate that they were also very transparent about the co-pay costs ahead of time. When I got there first thing in the morning the they quickly ran through the paperwork with me and I advised them that they didn't have my allergies listed. They corrected that and gave me a wristband noting them. A very nice girl then whisked me back to pre-op noting my wrist band and asking me to verify what my allergies were. When she put me on a gurney and gave me a warm blanket I noticed it had some gummy residue substance on it which caused me to raise my eyebrows. After that the anesthesiologist came in and gave me a rundown on what he was going to do which was reassuring. Then I met Dr Damore who barely looked at me while he gave me a rundown on what he was going to do during the procedure, and then in front of the nurse told me that he would make sure to prescribe me a minor opioid (I forget the specific brand) afterward to help with the pain. I told him that was a hard negative, holding up my wristband and saying I had already advised them at least twice that I couldn't take them. He finally looked up at me and said "Oh, well then alternate ibuprofen and acetaminophen every few hours for it." At that point I almost walked out but I was there so I said screw it, let's do this. The surgery went well. The day after my surgery I got a call from my pharmacy advising me that my (I'm deathly allergic to it) pain medication was all ready to be picked up. To say this troubles me is an understatement.
