Someone took my car for a drive, came back, and he said to me "your brakes are fine, I don't know what you think you're hearing. Bring it back if it gets worse." They didn't actually even LOOK at the brakes like I had requested. I was still concerned about my car and knew there was something wrong, and brought it to a different shop. This place actually looked at the car as well as drove it and found that needed all new front brakes, calipers, and struts. Well over $1000 worth of work. I'm glad I was able to give that place my money with their efforts and thoroughness. I will never bring my car to Smooth Automotive again.

I yelped "tire repair" and thankfully Castle was the closest and had 5-star ratings. I'm happy to add this is 5+ star! I pulled into the shop which was slammed. Edwin said he'd give a look and if it was a quick job he could do, otherwise I'd need to book an appointment. He quickly diagnosed, removed a screw and patched the hole. He's caught multiple issues after work from the dealership or other mechanics. Brought my car to a different shop once for a small service and then to his shop a month later for alignment and wheel rotation. Turned out my tires had practically no tread left and risked a blowout. It wasn't visible without a lift due to the dealership selling the car with the wheels on a larger negative camber. Other shop didn't say anything about it but glad I brought it in because I was traveling out of state frequently at that time. Saved me from a blowout on the highway. Only shop I trust to not just do the service needed at the moment but looking out for other issues or what to expect down the road.
