My family always has birthday parties here. I have always ordered pizza here, but since I moved to rochester I have discovered much better pizza. Today I decided to order their chicken Alfredo with a side salad. I have never had this bad of chicken Alfredo before. The chicken was over cooked and it was bland. The sauce tastes like it was canned, also very bland. I could take this dish and take a frozen chicken Alfredo to anyone and have a blind taste test and the frozen will win! Very disappointed. If you are going to charge $10 next time at least make it homemade. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Ordered garlic cheese bread, they brought dipping sauce. When we received the check we were charged for the dipping sauce. Ordered a thick crust taco pizza.. the crust was thinner than a frozen pizza. And they charged us extra for the toppings on the taco pizza. WHY?!? why did I pay the price of a taco pizza to get charged for all toppings. And by the time we received our pizza it was cold. They weren't busy when we were there. Horrible service. Steve's is a local pizza place that is extremely popular with the locals as well as visitors. It has an upbeat atmosphere wtih fairly good service (on one ocassion the service was horrible but otherwise it's been good). The pizza is really good and for me it's the second best place in town. Okay pizza. Their "thick crust" is just their regular thin crust with an edge. Not impressed. I like sausage pizza, but one huge chunk of sausage per square slice doesn't count as sausage pizza. I keep going back thinking that if I try enough of them that I'll find the right one, but every time I end up disappointed. Their cheesy bread is pretty good. And delivery options until 2am is a huge plus when starving on the night shift--I can bear the pizza when I've got nothing else. read more

Service is always so slow. We stopped dining in and just do delivery. They never get our order right, quote 35-45 minute wait time, and EVERY time, without fail, after 1 hour they call and say "what was your address, we must have wrote it down wrong." If you are driving on Interstate 90 and reading this, pull off the exit and eat here I live in NYC and have eaten lots of slices. I've been to Chicago countless times and tried lots of pies. I lived in Brazil for many years and tried every style of pizza imaginable (little known fact: São Paulo has the best pizza on Earth, look it up). Well, I can tell you that Steve's has some if the best pizza I've ever had. Steve's Pizza is a gem. A huge win. Austinites don't realize what they've got there. I know I sure took their quality, taste, service, and family atmosphere for granted while I was growing up in Austin. If I had to make a change it would be to give the current location the hole-in-the-wall, blue-collar, post-little-league-baseball-game-reward feeling that it had before they had to relocate due to construction of a new municipal jail. But don't let that deter you. This pizza is the real thing and only amazing people could ever make that happen. read more

Well, I can't comment on the establishment because I had my Pizza delivered to a Holiday Inn. They delivered it hot, it arrived crispy (usually delivered pizza's get soggy) Not Steves...I got a nice crispy thin crust House special and added green olives. I am in love with this pizza. read more

Stopped in on our way home after finding on yelp. Great, friendly staff. Service was excellent and attentive but not pushy. Pizza was loaded with toppings and came to the table very hot. It was delicious and we were glad we ordered a large so we could take some home for lunch the next day. Only reason I didn't give five stars was the noise factor. When we first arrived there was a group of young people upstairs that were so loud we had to yell at each other to hear anything. Glad they were having a good time, but not so fun for the rest of the place. After they left it was much better. Definitely stop again when we are in Austin. read more

Okay food, but service was horrible. I waited 10 min for a refill. I actually had to walk up to the counter to get a refill. I got chicken Alfredo. The chicken was soggy and noodles were watered down BIg time! Garlic bread , on the other hand, was great. There was only two tables when we were there.
