Always have a great experience here!! Their pizza is great and a bang for your buck! I love to order the margarita pizza, but I also love their pink sauce over any type of noodle. Definitely recommend going here if you are wanting Italian!

My non-dairy bread and my Fiancé's regular bread

The service and food is why we keep going back! 100/10 customer service!! Our waitress was so attentive to my allergies and Riley(chef?) went above and beyond and made special "non-dairy" bread for me to enjoy as well. Highly recommend!!

Baked Ziti

Good staff and service. Food is amazing, came out really fast even on a busy night. Not to loud not to quiet. You can talk on a good voice level.

I won't lie, upon entering I genuinely thought this was going to be like Olive Garden based off the decor and the smell. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food here. We ordered the bruschetta, which was okay, not the best but it wasn't bad at all. The bread, appetizer, and my soup came out right away. The pasta fagioli was good. My husband liked his salad. I ordered a coffee and the fettuccini carbonara. Be aware the portion sizes here are huge, I couldn't finish my dinner and needed a to go box. The pasta was good though. My husband ordered the rib eye steak with spaghetti which was well worth it. The steak was cooked to perfection. We ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate cake as well. The tiramisu was delicious, the chocolate cake was too rich and my daughters didn't finish it. Overall, this place was very good! Our server was very nice and checked in with us often. We will be back.

Good food but it's not freshly made by any means. Also some of the sauces taste like those cheap powder packets u buy from the store.

And the food...simply the best we've enjoyed in Mason City. Dry-rub wings appetizer (lemon pepper and mesquite) were generously sized and entirely delectable. NY strip with mashed potato, asparagus and mushroom demi was first-rate, top-drawer and perfectly prepared mid-rare. Legacy burger with sumptuous Gouda Mac and cheese was expertly grilled mid-rare and deliciously bacon-forward. And the crème brûlée was, to be honest, one of the best we've ever tasted. We visited on a slow Saturday so enjoyed the very pleasant quiet ambiance. Had such a great experience that we're headed back tomorrow morning for brunch knowing it will deliver another 10/10 dining adventure. Bistro Nineteen is a winner.

Was not impressed with the appetizer menu at all. Only 3 items. Ordered the Filet Migon. No bread, soup or salad served with your meal. You can order that for extra price. The steak came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. I ordered mine rare and it was excellent. Flavor was great. 8 oz was a great size. Then on to dessert. They were out of the item we ordered, but the waitress brought a piece of cheesecake on the house since they were out. The only complaint was really the no bread or soup/salad served with the steak. Over all wonderful time and we will go back again.

I left Iowa in 1998, but when I did live here, when ever I had the hunger for pizza, it was ALWALYS the Chicken Alfrado pizza at the Other Place. There was just nothing better. Now, I haven'y been in Iowa for some time, but recent events brought me back, and I found myself in Clear Lake. A lot has changed. I drive down Main St and see all the changes. Does anyone remember Jerry Krause, who used to own the old truck stop that was called "Milepost 194" who eventually sold it, and then bought the Town Pump bar on Main? Anyway, back to the Other Place. It's been 28 years since I had their Chicken Alfrado pizza, and I knew that being back in town that I just had to have one again. I have to say. The one I got served Friday, was NOT like I remembered. It was dry. I couldn't even tell there was alfredo sauce on the pizza? it seemed like crust, chicken and cheese. Granted, there was plenty of cheese and chicken, but the lack of sauce was dissapointing. I don't know if the alfredo sauce is made in house, or if it's brought in. maybe their destributor changed over the years, and they can't get the same sauce that they used 28 years ago. Maybe the business changed ownership and changes were made. I don't know. What I can tell you is that back in 1998, the Alfredo Chicken pizza was AMAZING. It was my go to. It was best thing on the menu. It was what I recommended to everyone I knew. The pizza I had during my recent visit was just.... Meh...
