Went in for emergency visit and he took the x-ray and then said his nurse will take over. He didn't even work on my tooth.

*Read all the way through* I have NEVER had a good experience at a dental office in my life! I have ALWAYS required multiple numbing shots, which never worked, so I would just have to deal with the pain. It resulted in endless hours stuck in the dentist chair, white knuckling the procedure the entire time. UNTIL DR WOLFRAM!!!!! I cannot express my eternal gratitude for this dentist. I now look forward to going to the dentist! Never in my life would I of ever dreamed of saying that. He cares about his patients, he is gentle, he gets it done quick! Waste of time , I called and ask if a core buildup filling and a crown procedure would of be billed on the same time , they said yes. After the exam , they said no that it couldn't be done . That's why I hate going to the dentist overpromising and no transparency. Now I have to shop around that no longer have dental insurance. read more

$2955 ?  Say What?   February 18 the office requested $2955 which I paid for 3 crowns.  Called office requesting itemized statement and received statement with incorrect running balance for full treatment charges.  Office said I had reached my maximum so I was responsible for full amount.  According to Delta Dental's summary for 2 crowns, I owed only $279!!! Called Delta Dental's customer rep who was surprised that office required such an excessive amount when I still had benefits available for the 3 crowns! March 17 I received $1550 refund check from Care Credit. March 26 I received $70 refund check from dentist office. March 29 I received $306.40 refund check from Care Credit. It has taken 5 weeks to get my money back. read more

I was referred to Dr. Wolfram by a friend who's been with him for over 10 years. She said he's thorough & goes above & beyond for his patients. I absolutely agree with her. I highly recommend Dr Wolfram and his team at Mountainside Dental. I know I use to be right there with you... no one likes to go to the dentist! Not anymore. I can't say enough great things about this dentist office. Great work, accommodating, they take our insurance, a caring group of people from Dr Wolfram to Receptionists to hygienists to billing, everyone! First off I have to say I am VERY particular about whom I reccomend and I have high standards as I have many years in Customer Service and I have a critical eye. When I moved to Yucaipa in 2005 I asked friends for their recommendations, and I was not satisfied with whom I was given. After some of my own research I came across Dr Wolfram. Now let me tell you, it had been quite some time since I had been to the dentist (over a decade) and I was very nervous about that first appointment. Well Dr Worlfram and his team made me feel very comfortable, and got me teeth taken care of. Renee my hygienists is gentle but gets my teeth nice and clean. When my husband (who also goes to Mountainside Dental) got transferred out of state in 2012, having to loss a great dentist was horrible. In fact I arrangeged for a visit back to Yucaipa to see friends, along with a dental cleaning. I was so happy to move back to Yucaipa in 2015 to be close to friends, better weather and YES happily back at Mountainside Dental with Dr Wolfram and his amazing staff. After seeing another dentist where I was told I needed over 4,000 dollars in dental work which was quite shocking since I had no pain or problems. After getting his name from a friend I went to see Dr. Wolfram and had an evaluation done to get another opinion. He and his staff were to quick to see what was REALLY needed and got me out of there for nowhere near the original estimate. I found his office to be very clean and comfortable and his staff is amazing! Would highly recommend him and will go nowhere else! Might I add I drove 60 miles to see him and will do it every 4 months. On a side note: I'm glad x-rays were performed because he didn't need to guess where any problems were and went tooth by tooth explaining why the other dentist was incorrect and what was really required. The office is professional but laid back. Dr. Wolfram is credible, meticulous and warm. I've had standard cleanings and x-rays along with some cosmetic repair -- all handled swiftly, without pain and with excellent results. They even run on-time to schedule in my experience. His team is: Concerned with the patient's time as much as their own. Happy to explain the process and the methodology of what is being done. Good spirit with the right level of seriousness. I've been coming here for over a year now. Before coming, I had not been to the dentist in years. I'm terrified (was) of the dentist and just overall fearful. Dr. Wolfram and staff are wonderful. After a few visits, I can say I am much more comfortable and not fearful at all. Needless to say after neglecting my teeth for years out of fear, I needed a bit of work done and more than anything deep cleanings and maintenance visits. I'm happy to say that the care I have received here has my teeth and gums on the road to recovery and I'm much healthier now! I actually look forward to my cleanings to make sure things stay that way. I can always get an appt. I'm always seen on time. Everything that I have done is explained to me thoroughly. There is nothing in my mind worse than a tooth infection. Honestly folks after this last stint with tooth pain, I'd rather birth another child. I had never been to Dr. Wolfram, hadn't even heard of him. I woke up to agonizing tooth pain and looked up someone local who accepted my dental insurance. I got an appointment with him within 2 hours of calling. Turns out I needed a root canal redone. He wasn't able to do it but got me in immediately with a specialist in San Bernardino. When I called him later that afternoon to let him know how much pain I was in he was so warm and understanding and called me in a prescription. He told me to call him the next day so he could see how I was doing. When I called at 8:00am the next day his receptionist immediately patched me through to him. I would love to have been able to schedule a cleaning here, but they require x-ray exams. My husband and I have been to other dentist in Orange County who would accommodate our holistic approaches to our health but the receptionist here turned away our business because we would not comply with x-ray exposure. read more

Cal to Vegas, after several Failed attempts to find an adequate replacement my family and I decided to not fix what wasn't broken, we now make the back and forth trip to Yucaipa 2 to 3 times per year because of the quality care and dentistry by Dr. Wolfram and his entire staff. No one likes to go to the dentist and I am probably the worse at going. I don't like anyone scrapping and poking around in my mouth. The worse part of any dentist has to be the xrays, it's painful and uncomfortable. That WAS my opinion of dentist until I walked into this dentist office. I had a toothache that needed attention. Dr, Wolfram's staff was so friendly from the phone call to the minute I walked in the door. Dr. Wolfram told me step by step what he was going to do and set me at ease. Before my treatment they took xrays of my teeth, I was apprehensive, but when it was done I said, " that's it?, that wasn't bad" Rene is a wonderful Hygienist.
