BEYOND PERFECTION!! How is it possible to be so in love with a dental team? And how can a dental team maintain such a consistent level of perfection? I really don't get it. Most people don't trust dentists and in fact I just spoke to someone today who told me that she felt like her dentist was ripping her off! That won't happen at State Street Dental, where you get state of the art perfection and a sizable discount on every procedure. I once jokingly told someone at their front desk that the only suggestion I would have for them would be to clone Dr. Eric, which is why I laughed like crazy when I heard that he practically did just that. He added his very own dentist brother, Dr. Steve, to the staff, and the amazing Dr. Steve is a legitimate dental wizard in his own right and as close to a clone of Dr. Eric as you could possibly get. He's a total dream come true for all you people out there who are scared of dentists, and he is every bit as charming and fun and impressively brilliant as his brother is too. Dr. Steve is super cool, super attentive, super caring, super sweet, super knowledgeable, and the total consummate professional! He explains everything that he's doing as he goes along and keeps checking on you to make sure you're okay, which I love. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Steve for my latest root canal and bridge procedure, and his performance was absolutely stellar and in my mind nothing short of heroic. What could've been a total ordeal with any other dentist was a total breeze with charming Dr. Steve. He's a bonafide genius with cosmetic work, his dental work is flawless pain-free perfection, and how many general dentists can even perform root canals? It's basically unheard of! They always farm you out to someone you've never met or researched in an unfamiliar office where you don't feel comfortable. What is also unheard of is an office manager like Steph Urzua! She keeps the office running like a well-oiled machine and somehow I lucked out and ended up with her personal cell number on my phone! I sent her a text asking for insurance advice on the Sunday before Christmas and she answered me the same day! I wasn't expecting her to respond until after the holidays. And after my face had swollen up to the point where it hurt to even talk, I was so thankfully able to text her directly. She called in antibiotics and pain meds for me and had me scheduled with Dr. Steve within minutes! I also want to give a shout-out to Emily, the best dental hygienist in the USA, for always managing somehow to put me into a deep state of Zen relaxation every time I have a session with her. She's just incredible, super fast, and always the consummate professional. Claudia at the front desk is great too. She even took her time explaining to me some of the intricacies of the wonderful world of dental insurance, which was sooooo enlightening. When I went in for my root canal with Dr. Steve, I heard these words from one of my favorite reggae songs playing on their sound system: "Don't you worry about a thing. Every little thing is gonna be all right," so I took that as a very good omen, and it was. If you love perfection and you don't like pain or rip-off artists, then State Street Dental is the only place to be! And P.S.: This is my SECOND five-star review! The check in process was seamless. I was called in right away to get in a "room". Got my X-ray right away. Then the hygienist attended to me right after X-ray. She explained everything to me. Then the doctor came in and talked to me. And then the hygienist started cleaning my teeth. Set up my appt for next time. Stephanie is the worst. Fake as you could get with a major attitude problem. I'll Spend 1,000's of dollars at any place but here. Yelp didn't like me explaining and giving reasons why I'm reviewing them. You hurt me bad 2 times and the 3rd was the worst office manager in history.
