This dentist is very awful, I will never be going back! I went for a check up and they told me I had a root canal and 8 cavities! So On my first visit they started the root canal and that's it on my second visit they did 3 cavities and prepped my root canal, the doctor gave me 5 shots to numb my face that's way to many shots I've been to the dentist many times and no matter how many cavities they always give me 1-2 shots he gave me five and it ended up hurting because my whole tongue was swollen and my face had a pins and needle feeling. On my third visit they finished my root canal capped it and did three more fillings he gave me two shots this time but when he put the needle in my cheek moved it around in a circle and it hurt very bad he did that twice and my face was swollen all the way up to my eye and caused a lot of pressure on my eye, my eye actually got blood shot from it. To top it all off my teeth are super sensitive when i chew food they told me they would be sensitive to cold and hot but anytime i chew it's very sensitive and hurts a lot I'm never going back to this place it's a terrible experience the doctor sucks! His staff on the other hand is very nice but he is very bland and just bad at his job. My mom said when she went they tried charger her for a bunch of stuff that the "insurance wouldn't cover" so she went to a different dentist and they said most of the stuff they said didn't need to be done . Staff are great! Facility is small, but clean and quaint. The Dentist seemed bothered to look at my teeth--as if he was doing me a favor. All other staff members said hi and introduced themselves. He came over looked in my mouth, mumbled something and went on to the next patient--very strange! Then the nurse told me what the dentist's findings were---not even a word from the dentist himself! Maybe my health coverage was not fancy enough for him! Not sure if I would go back!! read more

Watch out people! FRAUD ALERT! EXTREMELY Bad dental work, extremely poor business ethics! Almost every patient that has been treated at this place complains of sore, sensitive teeth for months on end and they have to see another dentist to fix the damage that has been done by this place. There is a fb group where over 100 people are complaining about this place and all have had the same miserable experiences. First of all let's start with the weird one room office where everyone can watch you having your dental work done and listen to all your private information being exchanged. Major lack of patient privacy which is a HIPAA Violation. They give you fraudulent estimates/charges, tell you you have cavities where you don't even have cavities, say you need root canals when you don't need root canals (get a second opinion!). They tell you that your denti-cal insurance doesn't cover white fillings in the back of your mouth and that you have to get silver metal fillings or pay out of pocket for white fillings. This is a flat out LIE! Denti-Cal covers WHITE FILLINGS ANYWHERE IN YOUR MOUTH NOT JUST IN THE FRONT! Call Denti-cal and see for yourself. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE DENTAL BOARD! IF YOU HAVE GONE HERE AND STILL HAVE SORE TEETH, HAVE BEEN LIED TO, AND RIPPED OFF THEN FILE A COMPLAINT ASAP! REQUEST ALL DENTAL RECORDS AND XRAYS! I was referred to Dr. Stevens about 15 years ago by a professor at the LLU School of Dentistry. We've never used anyone else since. He provides thorough explanations of what he sees, and his treatment skills are excellent. The staff are terrific, and we receive regular communication regarding appointment scheduling and follow-up. I recently required work that he felt would be better performed by an Endodontist (David Wolfe in San Bernadino), and ultimately an Oral Surgeon (Randall Halliday in Redlands). I appreciate that he referred me out (as a business owner myself, I know it's not easy to send money walking out the door), and both of the specialists he referred me to were absolutely top notch. I hadn't been to a dentist for two years. I was looking at HMO insurance plans and their lists of approved dentists when a good friend of mine advised me instead to find a good dentist first, and then find the insurance. He recommended his dentist, Dr. Glenn Stevens. So, I went for a check-up and was informed that I needed one extraction, two fillings, one root canal, two crowns, and several deep scale cleanings. The doctor and his staff were thorough and gentle and would always administer enough painkiller to ensure that I was numb and comfortable before working on me (thank you!). The office is clean. I don't hesitate to recommend Dr. Stevens to anyone looking for a very good dentist and friendly, competent assistants. ps As I had no insurance, the billing administrator recommended a Careington Dental discount plan whereby I able to save just under $1,000. read more

Seriously, the worst! I haven't been there since 2005, but when I was going to him, I happen to have 8 cavities every 6 month check up. I have been to a destist after him, he told my mom that there was no way I could be having so many cavities at one time. Went to my dentist today, and they told me the same thing. He just wanted to bill the insurance and just make it seem that I had cavities. Also, years ago, he tried to charge the insurance for work that wasn't even done on my dad. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! They will over charge and do work that isn't necessary. read more

Went there for the first time the other day. Does not feel like a dentist office whatsoever. I felt like i was sitting in an old tax office in a very used dental chair. The entire office is one large room with zero privacy. Not sure how hippa works with that. The staff was very nice and thorough. The actual dentist spent a total of less than one minute looking in my mouth and then quoted me on $800 of services needed. I did not even see any mouth rinsers or dental tools to perform those services. Very very strange "dental" experience. read more

I'll give this dentist 5 stars, I have been terrified about the dentist for all my life, other dentists have insulted me about all the work I needed. But I appreciated the fact he didn't comment on how bad my teeth were and kept it very professional. I called as a perspective new patient. I began by stating I was new to the area and looking for a dentist. I also stated I had a temporary crown come off. The first thing said to me was, why dont you just go back to the dentist that started the work, not as a question but a statement as in we dont want to be bothered. I again stated I dont live near that dentist any longer. Next it was, we cant glue that temp back on. I never asked them to do that. Next question, with attitude, well how old is the temporary crown? I got the impression they dont need any new patients. I accepted an appt but I did not go which I admit was not very professional of me. They call me 2 days after the missed appt asking if I want to reschedule. I was honest with them and said I got the feeling you didnt want to see me and I had already scheduled with my dentist in San Diego to fix the problem. Im pretty sure I was talking to same person as my first phone call to their office. She actually said to me, I didnt know you had a problem. Did she not makes any notes from our first conversation? They are missing out on a great patient. I visit the dentist regularly. I have my teeth cleaned 3 times a year. I have no cavities and I floss every night. Maybe they couldnt make enough money off a crown that had been started by another dentist? read more
