For my first appointment (dentist and hygienist) a few weeks ago, I intentionally scheduled the earliest time of the day to avoid delays. I arrived 15 minutes early, as requested. Despite that, I waited...and waited...and waited. I was repeatedly told they would be with me "soon," but no one ever came. I finally left 45 minutes past my actual appointment time without being seen. I decided to give them another try and rescheduled. Today's appointment started off better. I arrived 10 minutes early, was called back on time for X‑rays, and the dentist was professional and efficient. No complaints there. But after that, I was sent back to the waiting room to wait for the hygienist. And once again, the waiting began. The front desk staff actually asked if I was waiting from someone receiving treatment. Really?! Eventually I was told the patient before me was taking longer than expected and that I would need to wait another 40-45 minutes. I declined. I understand delays happen, but this seems to be a pattern here. I don't pretend to know the inner workings of a dental office, but I do know I value my time and don't appreciate being kept waiting--especially after arriving early and scheduling morning appointments specifically to avoid this. At this point, I can't recommend Imperial Dental based on my experience with their scheduling and wait times.

I'm usually scared of the dentist but this place is kind, they numb you well, they keep you in the know about everything they are doing. The doctor is so considerate of how you're feeling and doing. I had an appointment today for a simple general cleaning, which I refused the full mouth x-rays due to concern of radiation. The dental hygienist Delaney stated that there is no radiation from digital x-rays. She then proceeded and stated that if you don't receive x-rays, then I can't perform a cleaning. Delaney then consulted with the dentist in the office, Dr. Angelina Ladue. I have been going to this dentist for years. Time to find a new dentist. They left me no choice but to leave. I believe you should have a choice in what treatment you would like. It is a free country.

He recommended a comprehensive plan, but when I questioned the price, they claimed no record existed. Later, I faced pushback on trays I was entitled to under the 5-year plan. This practice prioritizes profit over patient care -- get everything in writing and be very cautious. Orthodontic treatment is a significant financial and health investment, and patients deserve transparency and integrity -- misleading at best and deceptive at worst. My experience was stressful, disappointing, and completely avoidable had they honored their original agreement.
