Dr. Yacoub is truly the best. I've been with her a little over two years . When I first saw her I was so scared of the dentist. My fear came from bad experiences time and time again. Now I walk in to her office get in the chair relaxed and confident I'm getting the best work from the best. I recently received a buccal labial frenectomy . I'm ecstatic, completely blown away. I haven't had an upper lip for so long. I'm going to be able to wear lipstick if I want. I can see my lip again. I'm getting my confidence back. My teeth are absolutely beautiful as well. Once again, Dr. Yacoub has gone above and beyond in providing excellent dental care. At a recent appointment to have a permanent bridge cemented in, she found a small lesion at the back of my throat. She said it looked like it might be a burn but was concerned and caring enough to have me back in two weeks (at no cost) so she could she if it had healed. As I was leaving I saw Dr. Yacoub running across the parking lot to take a carnation to the patient she treated before me. I don't think you can find a more caring dentist. I have been a patient of Dr. Yacoub's for many years. She is caring and concerned about how the patient feels during procedures. She and her team use techniques that create a comfortable and anxiety free dental experience while giving top quality care. My neighbor's son is attending the Loma Linda's School of Dentistry and asked for volunteers to have their teeth cleaned by a student. After the cleaning was complete, he called his instructor to come and check the work he had done. She looked in my mouth and exclaimed "You have a mouth full of the most beautiful dental work I have ever seen". She then asked if I would mind having the students come by and look in my mouth. I've been looking for the 'right' office for me. After being a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) for 15 years I know what to look for and what just isn't right. My initial appointment for new patient exam & xrays ended up being 2 hours! Unacceptable. Intra-oral photos were taken as well, which is fine. I was told by the doctor herself that she wouldn't see me unless I paid for the full set of xrays at $141.There was no mention of the fact that my insurance companies could have been called right then and there to verify that I was eligible for xrays. I have dual insurance. I pay no out of pocket. I agreed to paying in hopes of having a refund. I was told by the front office that they would issue an in office 'credit', again unacceptable. At the end of the initial 2 hour appointment I had multiple teeth according to them that were in need of care. I was seen at another office approximately 7 months prior. I had one tooth that needed a 'watch' on it. I asked the front office for a pre-authorization to be sent into both of my insurance companies. I was told that they do not do that because the insurance company would more likely than not DENY any restorations. I also asked for a treatment plan for myself. Again I was told that they only issue those by quadrant. It was explained that they do this so as to not SHOCK the patient as to the total cost of the restoration work! I've have never heard of such a thing. I did finally receive my refund to my bank account. It took a while. I had given them my bank card information for the refund, then 2 days later I was called and a message was left saying that I had to come into the office to sign the credit. I declined, I have no time for this type of mess. I contacted both of my insurance companies and told them of my experience. They were both surprised about me having to pay for my xrays. And the were more shocked to hear that a pre-auth would not be sent to them and I was refused a full mouth treatment plan. They have both placed what was said to me in the doctor profile in hopes that it will not happen to another client. My secondary insurance is paid out of pocket by me as a supplement. The only positive thing I will say about this office is that the hygienist is great! Heather did a great job! I will not return and made that very clear. In the mail today I received my 'patient care release form'. LOL!!! Good news, now I do not have to worry about calling to get my xrays. read more

Let me start off by saying that I have been to many dentist in the past and I have NEVER had such great experience like I have had here with Dr. Yacoub. Not only is all the staff super nice and professional, but they all take the time to make sure that everything that I need gets done and they make sure that I am well informed about what is going on with my teeth, which is something that other dentists lacked. I would go get cleanings at other places and they always told me that my teeth were fine and they never actually took the time to help me like Dr. Yacoub has done. I have dental insurance from my job as well as Denti-Cal so I can honestly get my fillings paid for completely at a different place, but I decide to come to her because the quality of her work is so unique. She makes sure that she takes the time to take care of all your needs. All her staff is so genuine and nice. I will honestly recommend her to everyone, i have had nothing but a great experience and Dr. Yacoub's office will stay as my primary dentist as long as she stays there. Let me just start with this the entire staff is completely awesome. They are all welcoming and friendly. And not in the fake " I'm at work so I have to be nice" way, in a genuinely concerned how you are doing way. I was so accustomed to the shaming tactics dentist used to get patients to be compliant with brushing and flossing and I absolutely dreaded going to the dentist. My experience here was completely different! Shannon is super sweet, has a really gently touch which again was different compared to previous cleanings at other locations where the floss was quickly and forceful dug in to my gums in effort to quickly get it done. Dr. Yacoub again was so genuine and took time to understand what I really was self conscious about regarding my smile and what was overall important to me. She didn't just walk in with her own agenda. Blanca does a great job with insurance and explaining it in way the makes sense. Patty I meet the first time and she also was very nice and help make sure everything with my treatment went smoothly. I finally feel like I have the smile I've always wanted and it's all thanks to Dr Yacoub. I've never been so happy and pleased with a dentist or overall healthcare provider.
