Although those days are long gone, and many of the stores that made it "premium" are no longer here, it's better than most. There are still some good deals. It's also fairly large so you'll spend a decent amount of time walking through every section. We're usually shopping for something specific -- today it's jeans for the husband. But we always end up with more than planned. :) We browsed through many of the stores, spending much of our time at Lucky Brand, Levi's, Lululemon, adidas, The North Face and Ralph Lauren. We got the best deal on jeans at Levi's and surprisingly found a nice lightweight sweater for him at Lululemon. We like to grab a light snack or drink treat while we shop. Wetzel's Pretzels is a favorite but today we discovered that Boba Time has joined the outlets! Overall, it was a really nice day. I realized when we left that I missed going to Pottery Barn! We'll need to start on that side next time.

JOE'S JEANS & SEVEN FOR ALL MANKIND ARE GONE!…read more I'm really disappointed because I drove down to Camarillo from Santa Barbara to go to Joes jeans and Seven jeans specifically. And yes, I checked the outlet website before I left for hours and it appeared that both stores were active and open. When I arrived, Joes was simply gone. I went over to the kiosk map to check and it was still listed in its usual location. But it had been replaced by another store, Reformation, I believe. An employee of the outlets walked by and said I looked confused and told me the map hadn't been updated in a minute. Disappointed, I then went over to Seven, which was also gone! Replaced by Fabletics, I think. The point is that Joes and Seven are still listed on the outlet website and they are still listed in the on-site kiosks as active stores. Not only am I disappointed that a few of my favorite stores are just gone like that, but I'm especially disappointed at the glaring lack of communication that lead to an entire afternoon being wasted. The outlets otherwise appear to be going down hill. I don't think I'll be back after this.

Found some really solid discounts on quality gear, and the staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. What I like about this location is you can actually find hidden gems if you take your time. Between the pricing, selection, and service, it was definitely worth the stop. If you're at the Camarillo outlets, this is a must-visit.

And the shoe racks are so close together that it is often very difficult to move around. I know that they're trying to maximize floor space, but I really with there was maybe a foot wider. A little could go a long way. Employees are friendly, but often running around trying to help a bunch of different customers. I always plan on just being 'on my own' when inside. It'll save time not trying to hunt down an employee & wait for them to get you an item/etc. So, if you're willing to deal with large crowds in a somewhat cramped space, then go for it. Enjoy yourself. But if you're looking for a more relaxed shopping experience, there are plenty of other options at the outlets here.

What we didn't expect, however, is how expensive they would be even in an outlet store. My son's shoes (who's 7) cost us over $50. And that's on discount! (For comparison I got new shoes at another athletic brand in the outlet & only paid $35 for mine). We were shocked. I think they were really hoping people would opt for the 'buy one get one half off' deal they had. I ended up also getting a shirt because of that. I wanted to spread that money across a few things. Like I mentioned before, I know New Balance is a good quality brand, but I never would have expected to be paying those prices on kids shoes. Especially when there are several other stores in the center that can beat those prices by more than half. Now I really hope my son's shoes last because I want to get every penny out of them before they have to be replaced. Staff was friendly, though limited. I only saw two or three for the whole store and that includes the one who was stuck behind the register. Lucky for us it wasn't too busy, but if it was, you'd have to spend a lot of time waiting around if you needed help with something. I did however picked up two tops for myself and a pair of pants for my partner. Men's section is more limited but still fun to browse through. Smaller store because it is an outlet, but worth stopping in. Definitely noticed the inventory here had more women's sizes in the 0-2 range. The staff are all very nice and helpful. I lost one of my precious earrings in the changing room and when I went back two days later to inquire about it, they had it in their lost and found! They even have a jar of Milkbones for the fur babies! My dog certainly appreciated the treats.

I was looking for some new warm weather gear and try the Oxnard factory outlet for the first time…read morelast week. I was in. I enjoyed seeing a complete product line for various clothing and shoe manufacturers rather than a few items only in a normal retail store. I was able to find some specialty shoe products, including some cushioned sketchers shoes, not readily available in brick and mortar stores. On rare occasions, I get to wear a tux. I was able to find a high quality half price/inexpensive tux top the cost less than a pair of running shoes. A bargain if I wear it once. If you're looking for some surprises and bargains in high-quality clothing, I recommend you give the Oxnard outlets a try.
