retired physician new to area. made a new patient apt. waited over 3o mins for dentist to tell me…read morei have taken great care of my teeth but refused to clean my teeth and recommended a SRP deep cleaning only in all quadrants. totally unnecessary and not how you treat a senior. this was something that may have been necessary for a few teeth that needed extra deep cleaning. called my previous dentist to find out if that was something I would need since I just saw him 4 months ago. He confirmed it wasn't. Paying for an exam that gives you no value and then they don't clean you unless you sign up for over a 2,000 cleaning. Waste of time and money. None of this was communicated when you make the apt. no patient service what so ever but still collected the exam fee. I called the office back and told the assistant how I felt and what my dentist had told me. Most legit family dentists would at least applogize and say well we won't take your money because we did not treat you we denied treating you. What a terrible practice to treat new Patients like that. The girls stated that they were in practice for 10 years and then built their new big office. They could care less what I was telling them. I actually did speak to the doctor and he just made excuses and told me that I just paid for what I got. Just to see him. No cleaning. It will be interesting to see if I receive a call from the owner.

He said I had to have my teeth cleaned before any exam- I have never heard that from any dentist. His assistant did take way more x-rays than necessary so I'm sure he will over bill my insurance for that. On my next appt. at 9a.m NO ONE was there. The office was closed - no note on the door - nothing. The next day the office girl said "we sent an email to all patients" NOT ME. Another man showed up at 9 also so I'm not the only who did not get that message. My next appt I had to sign a form saying that I would pay for any shortage that my insurance company did not pay. AND I was overcharged on my first appt and when I asked for a refund I was told they don't refund to credit cards even tho that was how I paid. So I asked for a check- she said the Dr. only writes checks once a month. Well it's been 2 months and I'm still waiting. I will NEVER go back there.

Since it was almost 5 p.m., both his dentist and pediatrician were already closed, but Clear Creek was still open. I called, sent over a photo as requested, and was reassured right away. Escobar at this facility. I called and spoke to a nice girl named Ally and she scheduled me in fast for X-rays & a Complete Exam in 2 weeks. She said she would check for a cancellation and schedule me for my Cleaning. When I got to the office for my appointment the staff said I could have my Cleaning done that day and not have to come back in on another date . X-rays were done right in my dental chair with the new technology they have and they went well. Then I met the Julio R. Escobar the Dentist to give me my Complete Exam. He was very nice and I liked him. He found a small cavity and said it wouldn't take very long to fill. Then I had my Cleaning and the Dental Hygienist was very nice and did a good & careful job cleaning my teeth. She even gave me a Fluoride Treatment. Afterwards, Ally said I could come back to the office in only 5 days to have my cavity filled. I came back for my next appointment and Julio did a professional & painless job in taking care of my cavity. They answered all my questions and was so patient with me. The oral surgery went better than I expected. I wasn't sedated since I didn't have anyone that could drive me home afterwards. I decided on nitrous oxide to reduce the anxiety and fear. Dr. Melendrez gave me the novocaine and stayed in the room and chatted until it was time to get started. It was a very nice conversation and it put me at ease. He worked quick. The extraction and the bone graft took less than 15 minutes. There was barely any swelling or pain.
