I have been a client of Dr. Randy Wright for 7 years now and have never been happier with my smile! His team is caring, thoughtful and incredibly personable. I love going in (every 4 months for cleaning) to see their happy faces and also their super comfortable office setup. My veneers are so amazing and stunningly beautiful! Dr Wright has the most up to date technology and makes the veneers in house! Very affordable for top care! My husband is even a convert as he (naturally) despises going to any doctor but really likes the entire team. I don't understand these negative reviews but some people just have nothing nice to say! Must say am shocked by some of the comments here. Like Merlin's who thinks" because he doesn't eat sugar and only drinks milk( newsflash milk has sugar!!) He couldn't get cavities or that gum issues don't occur naturally for many different reasons, or that because the Xray machine is :electronic" it doesn't cost the practice any money. Or another person upset because they didn't ask if the office was" in network". It's our responsibility as the insured to find out from our insurance IF a doctor/dentist is in network. NOT theirs! Review by a dental professional (not associated with the practice) The major issues I have with this practice include the following: - The dental assistant used the high-speed hand-piece to make a bite adjustment on me because the doctor was too busy. This is not an allowable duty for a dental assistant and is illegal. The most an assistant can do is coronal polishing intraorally, and cannot remove any hard or soft tissue. (I have been told this was not recorded in my chart; obviously because it shouldn't have been done). - The dental hygienist did not complete periodontal probing during either of my two cleanings, which is standard practice. I have some areas of recession which I want to be monitored, but this was never recorded. - Today I was scheduled for an appointment and unfortunately cancelled due to a migraine. I was informed for the first time that this is my third "appointment fail" and was given the vague threat that "the Dr has to make a decision about the next step." When I brought these issues (and others) to the practice's attention, I was met with silence the entire day, then a $75 overdue bill was sent to my email at the end of the day (of which I was unaware since I paid my initial estimate at the time of service and my physical mail has been unreliable recently). I asked if this was the only response I would receive to my concerns and immediately got a call from an administrator. She informed me that I would be getting a dismissal letter in the mail soon because they have "lost trust." I politely asked if the practice had any kind of response to my concerns; she defensively fumbled over her words and could not offer me any sort of valuable comment, interrupting and talking over me. I asked her to let me speak multiple times. She stated simply that because I had an overdue bill that she had "no reason to appease" me, and said she didn't know what I wanted her to say. I requested to pay my bill and ended the conversation. I hoped that my feedback would have been received as constructive and expected to be treated with kindness or respect, but unfortunately that was not the case. I have had a great relationship with the practice up to this point, and I am disappointed that there was no response besides a dismissal without comment. read more

I went in for a crown. I was sent out for a root canal at a different dentist's office. After I had the root canal done and temporary filling placed, I was told that I would have to pay the full out of pocket of pocket cost up front despite having dental insurance and get re-imbursed. The office never did a pre authorization despite me having made the appointment weeks in advance. The receptionist went on to brag about how they are a big corporation and are well funded. Now I feel screwed because I was not told this until I had no choice the day before the appointment. read more

After missing a cleaning due to family emergency I received a letter firing me as a patient. Mind you I had just gotten done with a two hour appointment a complete waste of time and after I showed up early and they couldn't be bothered to get anyone started early. I made an appt a month out with Advanced. They sent a link for me to fill out medical info, etc. I made several attempt to upload but it didn't seem it went so I called the office. They confirmed they had received so I provided insurance info and prior dentist info so they could obtain recent X-rays. I arrived at my scheduled appt 10 minutes early only to find out they did not receive information I was told they had. (Why didn't someone contact me prior to appt)? I had to redo the 5 page questionnaire and sat waiting for 20 min. I went to desk and asked how long until I would be seen. She said they just received paperwork so maybe another 10 min. Another of their staff stated she just tried calling my previous dentist but got disconnected. (Again, why was this not done prior). At that point, I decided to reschedule to give them time to obtain the information they should have already procured. Two days later I received a letter from Randall Wright, DDS, stating I should go elsewhere and that my next appt was canceled. I was stunned! I read reviews prior to posting this and am sorry I didn't read prior to scheduling. It seems they send these letters regularly if someone questions anything. Had a horrible experience and will never go back. Initial appointment took far longer than it should have as I had to wait a long time for dentist. Was told a treatment plan would be ready for me in a day or two, but dentist did not do it, then went on 3 week vacation. They never called to tell me it wasn't done before his trip. Once he returned he still didn't do it. I called, was told they would get back to me, but they did not. Finally, after several more calls, I was told they would email it to me. They did not. Then, after more calls, I talked to a very impatient and rude dental assistant who told me the plan still was not ready, they would not email it to me, and I had to make an appointment to come in to get the treatment plan. When it finally was ready he did not write up one of the 3 options we talked about. More phone calls and finally I got information on the main treatment we had discussed. But, after waiting 5 weeks and making many, many calls - and being promised follow up calls and emails that didn't happen - I decided to never go there again. Very incompetent treatment. read more

Terrible experience regarding major dental work! In 2017 I had a toothache and Dr. Wright told me the tooth needed a crown that cost 1700.00. The tooth was still painful after three weeks so he told me the tooth needed a root canal. 1200.00 later after the root canal, the tooth was still bothering me & he said the tooth had a hairline crack & needed to be extracted. I declined. I went to my old dentist & said the root canal was fine, he adjusted the bite. Problem solved no more pain. 2021 I still have the tooth with no problems. In December 2020, I had a cracked tooth. Dr. Wright did another crown for 1700.00. The tooth never calmed down after a month & he prescribed antibiotics. It calmed down for a month or so. I went back for a cleaning 4 months later & told them that the tooth was still bothering me. He referred me to the root canal dentist & I didn't want to go through this again so I went to my old dentist for another opinion. He again checked the bite, adjusted it & problem solved. I also overpaid for the crown & the kept my refund on my account as a credit instead of returning it to me. I actually had to request that it be mailed to me. read more

April is a very pushy person . She would not listen to me . She just wanted to do her routine and be done with me. When she didn't get the results she wanted she had two other technician come in like a scare tactic. Making me feel very uncomfortable. I came there to get my teeth looked at and a cleaning not have a medical brain exam. They threw too much technology at me. They just told me how terrible my previous dentist did on my teeth. I just came in for a cleaning . I'm new to the area and have not had my teeth looked at for 2 years. I could not travel to see my previous dentist. During the cleaning process they said I needed special dental floss and would have to pay extra for, I have never been told that before. I don't enjoy leaving a negative review but this office has issues. I went for a consultation for dental bonding and after meeting with the dentist an appointment was made for the procedure. I arrived to find out the dentist was not prepared for this appointment and didn't even have a clear idea on how to proceed. He mentioned a lack of time among other things. Why was this appointment scheduled for me then? And why after I paid $140. for the consultation did he not know what to do? This was a complete waste of time and money. I am not naming the dentist because he was a nice guy and the staff was friendly but they need to realize patients go there with specific needs. I live 45 minutes from this office. It is not my idea of a good day to waste on incompetence. I do not recommend this office for cosmetic dentistry. Anything else, I don't know. But they are clearly overwhelmed. read more

I went here because I had a filling from another dentist that was falling out for the 3rd time in a year and that dentist wouldn't acknowledge their fault. It's always a bummer when you have a bad experience with a business, but I want to make sure other folks know. This is what I would call a "scammer dentist" they suggested a bunch of x-rays, and tests that I didn't want or need and then told me it was "company policy." It's unfortunate that dentists have to resort to do unnecessary procedures to make more money, but this is definitely one of those businesses. I've unfortunately had a lot of dental work, including braces twice, and I've learned the hard way getting a $10K bill after the work was done that I should ask how much this is going to cost before agreeing to have the work done. The worst part is they insisted that I get a mouth cancer test (its costs $50) that I don't need or want, in addition to other procedures. I ended up walking out. read more

A while ago I wrote about this dentist. I was having a hard time with the front office. Really only one person. When I tried to get support in this matter the female dentist said they could not prove I was a customer. That was it. She didn't try to help or say she would contact to resolve. I was pretty much done. I have always had a problem with the front office here but my dental hygienist is a saint so I kept going. With the front office and clear lack of customer support I decided to change. I found an amazing office staff, dental hygienists, and dentist. I wanted to share that this dentist talked about what a great job the male dentist did on my cap. So I want to update and add a positive. The work the dentist does is good. I recently went to Advanced Dentistry and I can only equate it to a time share presentation, and I wasn't even offered a free prime rib dinner at Harrah's. I was taken into a conference room, given a dark blue folder, and pitched over 3200 dollars worth of dental procedures. The three page itemized list also included a water pick, Oral B Series 500 electric toothbrush, special mouthwash and toothpaste. They even tried to push braces and I'm a 66 year old woman. I also received a number of follow-up calls. Fortunately, I consulted with several friends and they recommended a popular local dentist. After an extensive examination he concluded that I needed approximately 200 dollars of dental work, and none of the biological analysis of saliva, extensive scaling, Arestin delivery, crowns replaced, or water pick. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. My initial Yelp review has somehow been removed, but I want people to beware of this group. I had to wait in the waiting area for over an hour to only have to watch a video of a product that they would later try to sell me. They never cleaned my teeth this visit, was only a consultation to where the "closer" would explain the thousands of dollars of work that I needed....which was a shock since I've never had any issues in the past. I unfortunately listened to them and spent the money for the deep clean and items that they said that I needed. I left after having this work done feeling like I had been on a timeshare presentation and decided to never go back. Just felt dirty. I had a similar experience as Holly. I had been going to this office for years when Dr. Wright was there on his own and never had any issues. Then one visit when i was there for a regular cleaning I got the new guy who said I needed a root canal with a cap. My insurance changed so I took the X-rays to a different dentist expecting to start the root canal. He was puzzled, took X-rays (no charge) in order to double check and told me that I had a surface cavity and did NOT need a root canal. It wasn't just the cost that an unnecessary procedure would have been but the crime of killing a tooth that was heathy and the life long issues it would have caused. read more

I would NOT recommend this dentist. After three seperate visits, my husband still did not get the cleaning that he had asked for. Instead he got the "up sell" on things he did not want. Additional, be careful that you ask if they are in network. My husband asked if they took our insurance...sure we will take your insurance was the response. What they should have said is that they are not in-network, but would bill as a courtesy. We got a bill from them for $150 (intiail exam - never got the cleaning) for a service than would have free had they been an in-network provider. I have nothing but great things to say about Advanced Dentistry and Dr Euse. I have been a patient for a few years and my experiences have been great. I transferred after a previous dentist could not seem to eliminate my source of pain. With current training and concerned care I was pain free after the first visit!. Concern for my comfort has always been obvious! I brought my daughter in after her dentist had a laundry list of things to have done. Dr Euse did not recommend any procedures at all, gave her a clean bill of health and sent us on our way. No fancy mouthwash, toothpaste, or anything else.
