April 1, 2025 I started my journey of lower mouth reconstruction. I have been struggling with my bottom teeth for many years. I can't tell you how many times Dr Coombs had to come in his office on weekends and other late appointments because my permanent bottom bridge came off and he had to re-cement it The last time I was sitting in his office on a Saturday after he just got back from Lake Tahoe. We had a heart-to-heart discussion and he told me it was time to take action. So it began, 10 months of treatment procedures, and all kinds of handholding and Support. Dr. Coombs is not only a very gifted and talented dentist, but he is one of the kindest and most compassionate dental providers you could ever meet. He and his wife, Dr. Brewer are the perfect team, if it's possible to have enjoyable dentistry, believe me they make it like that. Their Staff is amazing my hygienist Gina Spence has been cleaning my teeth for 23 years, that's how long I have been with this practice, finally, I have completed the process and now I just have a few adjustments, but my teeth are gorgeous. This is my second review because I had a cosmetic dental procedure that I just HAD to share. I had a gingevectomy with a new crown replacement. Here's my before and after. Dr. Brewer and Laura, worked so hard to get my crown from the lab. The process took a little longer than I had anticipated and had to have several temporary crown replacements in the meantime, but MY GOSH was it worth it. I am SO happy with the results. Coombs and Brewer Dentistry went above and beyond for me! I needed to switch to a different dentist, however, Coombs & Brewer Dentistry does not take my dental insurance plan. Despite that, I still wanted to get work done at their office. The front desk was unbelievably helpful. They went out of their way to ask for my dental insurance, to contact them, and to determine what my process would be for submitting a bill. They even offered to submit the superbill for me! Moreover, the employees and staff are beyond courteous, professional and kind. after not seeing a dentist for a few years, I decided to come to this office, I originally saw Dr. Brewer and she was just what I liked in a dentist knowledgeable. She listened to me and was fun.! I eventually brought my daughter, and she only wanted to see a girl Dr.... but after a few visits, she was ok Dr. Coombs, She likes going into the dentist office now when both of them are going to be working!!! my whole family now goes to this office. They're always pleasant. I don't mind what hygienist I get and I would see either dentist for any type of procedure I may need! The staff is always kind, and the office is always clean! lost a front tooth veneer biting my nails. a new veneer in US runs $2000 or more. so I decided to go back to my dentist in Tejuana who put in the veneers 20yrs ago and have them brightened in a six tooth update. but I need to get a new passport which takes awhile. so yesterday Dr. combs (he had reglued another of my veneers about 4yrs ago) rebuilt the tooth using common composite bonding. result is so perfect i'm cancelling Mexico visit. at 1/10 and less the price of the Mexico trip. I've had a lot of dentists and I think Dr. combs is certainly the best. read more

I went in and had my teeth cleaned and was complaining of my molar hurting off and on for months. I'd had invasalines and was thinking maybe it hurt because of my teeth shifting. She thought it looked red took an xray and saw there was an infection. I'm taking antibiotics and plan on having it taken care of in a few weeks by the dentist. I had a dental emergency while on vacation. Found them through my providers website at 2am in pain. Called them first thing in the morning and had an appt in the afternoon. I was happy with Dr. Stephen Shimp and his support staff. I had 13 teeth removed for my new dentures moving forward. The staff expertly and professionally handled my failing teeth that broke up during the procedure. This made their work all the more serious for concerns about infection. At the end, the X-rays showed that they had gotten everything save for one shard from my teeth that were removed and they removed the hold out in record time. They did a good job of providing the costs for their services. At the end of the day, I was an informed patient and a happy one at that! read more

These people should have their license reviewed! They started with promises to fix my tooth issue, then bungled every step of the way!! The work is shoddy - but the blame went to everyone EXCEPT the person actually doing the work. They told me that they would use certain high quality materials only to charge my insurance for inferior parts - then refused to acknowledge what was actually put into my mouth. Now I'm getting arbitrary bills which have nothing to do with the work performed. Anyone else experience similar issues - I'm happy to sue these criminals read more

I've needed a lot of work done and they've helped me figure what to do first and got through all of it with no pressure on timing or finances.
