The museum also offers workshops, after-school programming, a teen apprentice program, summer camps, and even serves as a venue for birthday parties. If you're an educator, check out their field trip opportunities as well as to bring your colleagues to a curriculum/professional development - you won't regret it! The staff here are absolutely wonderful - they are experts in the field, are creative, and are super supportive and collaborative! Support this wonderful museum! There's garage parking right a 3 BMC - this is the same garage where you would park for the Hyatt; park at any unreserved spots and take the elevator to PL - walk out, and the KID Museum entrance will be to your left. This is a fun space in the heart of Bethesda that's great for kids and those young at heart. Lots…read moreof different stations with hands on activities to engage and inspire creativity and the builder spirit. Most activities require good motor and hand/eye coordination. I suggest bringing your kids when they're at least 4 or 5 years old, otherwise they may not enjoy it as much. If your kids go to Montgomery County Public Schools, your entire family will get free access on Sundays through 6/30!
