I would not recommend this business to install anything. I reached out to the business shortly after having the installed completed. The installation job was awful: The kick panel tabs were broken. The area under my dash was not installed properly afterwards. The radio turns up and down on its on. I have a naked wire wrapped around a fuse and stuck into my fuse panel. The grounds on the amplifier were all left loose. I attempted to have them correct the issue to no justice, please take your business elsewhere. read more

Mr. Alexander repaired my driver's side car door handle before I left the shop this morning. He had to search for the piece of the handle, cement it and secure it so I could leave safely. His associate, Jerry broke the handle, hid the broken piece, lied about breaking it, then accused me of lying about it being broken before I arrived. The owner stepped in, also accused me of lying and attempted extortion. My hat's off to Alex for solving the problem. read more

I brought my 2023 5.0 F150 Supercrew in to have subs put in(Memphis Mojos, and Memphis Mojo Vehicle specific Box and Amp) my windows tinted, and my step sons Tesla windows tinted. Needless to say We left with all this done and I was beyond happy with a VERY reasonable price and warranty. Travis Rice and his team of true professionals with 37 years of shop experience, with a ridiculous selection of options, parts, and accessories. The following weekend I brought my truck back in to have a Stereo 1 sticker added and fully upgraded my interior speakers and a head unit amplifier. I wish it was possible to give them a negative star rating. This was one of the worst consumer experiences I've had. I went there because my Mercedes required a bypass to get sound from the radio. I arrived at 10am. Immediately, I could see that one of the employees had a terrible attitude. A short time later, you could hear another employee cursing him out. They charged me almost 300.00 to do the work. 3 hours later, around 1pm, they told me my radio was bad, and that they had radios for sale, one of which I purchased. 2 hours later, I was informed that my radio was in, looking and sounding good. I paid and walked out to find that, though the radio was in, the rest of the dash panels, gear shift, vents were in the floorboards and on the seat. The tech nonchalantly commented that he had done what he could, then went back inside. When I went back inside to ask about the condition they had left my car in, I was told the technician who installed the radio had no experience working on Mercedes. I was told it was not their responsibility to reattach the panels since I had brought the car there with the panels out. They did not connect ANY accessories, no cd player, steering wheel controls, nothing. In addition, the radio barely picks up local radio stations. I was very unsatisfied with their service. 5 hours and 300.00 to have something thrown together. In addition, while complaining about the work, the customer parked beside me informed me they had given him the same story about his provided radio being 'bad', sold /installed a radio. He said that, while installing his radio, they had damaged his trim but lied and said it had been missing clips to reattach it. I was intending to go back and have additional vehicles serviced but, after seeing their work ethic, and hearing non stop cursing and arguing, I wouldn't let them install batteries in a flashlight. As a matter of fact, someone should install 2 feet in all of their collective butts, NO BUENO!!! read more

I had stereo systems and an alarm installed on 2 vehicles, totalling close to $4k. Ones been back 3 times the other twice. I finally gave up and ordered the install kits and correct interfaces through Crutchfield and reinstalled everything myself. I've never seen a place worse than this! read more

I would choose No stars if I could! I would NOT recommend this company! They put the wrong DVD player in my new truck, the exact one that I said I did not want. They said the one I wanted was not available. So they just installed what they wanted to? I took my truck back to get a different model installed. An employee hit a pole with my brand new truck. They told me their insurance would cover the repairs and scheduled body work through Hot Wheels. I requested a copy of the incident report form but only got a hand written note on their letterhead that they damaged my vehicle and would fix it. By GPS I found my truck outside city limits. I found out that the owner of Hot Wheels was driving my truck all over the place. I went to Hot Wheels and found my truck with the passenger seat lying completely down, the baby car seat unbelted and lying in the back and food on the back seat. My guess was that several people were in my truck. The owner of Hot Wheels said he was a friend of the owner of Stereo One and he was doing him a favor by fixing my truck. I was pissed and took my truck. The owner of Stereo One was rude and said this never would have happened if I didn't GPS the truck. He said he would get someone else to fix the truck but asked us to give him 30 days. I didn't wait. I contacted my lawyer and got an estimate for $1783 from the Chevy dealer. My lawyer's office contacted Stereo One (SO), they said they would only pay $700 and asked for more time. Stereo One is in bankruptcy so if I sue I cannot be sure if I'll get compensated. This happened 5 months ago and they either ask for more time, promise payment or simply do not respond to communication from the BBB, the TN Consumer Protection Agency or my lawyer's office. The owner dragged this on and on because there is a deadline to file a claim with the bankruptcy court. Customers beware!! read more
