I was fortunate to have an excellent dentist named Kelli Prescott at Comfort Dental for quite a few…read moreyears. Recently, however, my two experiences there were horrible. From the receptionist to the dentist. Unfortunately, he's the husband of the other genius and KIND Kelli Prescott. I had a bad experience a few weeks ago and again today. The first time was mostly the receptionist being extremely rude and when I gave them a second chance, the dentist used my time to put me in his chair, place a bib on, and then began to berate me over my poor review of my experience on google. I went back because it was mostly the receptionist who made it bad the first time. But the dentist topped her behavior with his own. You don't put a client in the chair with a bib so you can tell them you will not be doing the work as previously discussed. He doesn't do extractions, so i went elsewhere for that part. That's where the trouble began and i never should have given him and the clinic another chance. I really did think he'd probably be good because of how excellent his wife always was. I miss her terribly and boy was i ever wrong

My husband has two painful teeth that need to be extracted, plus he needs two fillings At this appointment we scheduled a cleaning appointment for me and his needed fillings and a cleaning for today, 8/22/2025. I called last week, asking if the could get my husband in because he was in pain due to the needed extractions. I was assured we would hear back on Tuesday. We never received a call back. Today we arrived for our cleanings. They had no records of our appointments. They now reschedule our appointments for September. We are new to the area. Should we look for a different dental group or do you think this was just a one off?

What I minded was when one of my girls started getting scared of a numbing needle and then had a cramp in her leg the old c*** decided to yell at her which I then told her not to speak to her that way it's really unprofessional. Idk why or how she even has a job let alone working on children's teeth. I've contacted a few donors. And tomorrow I'm hoping the board gets back with me because I'm going for this lady's license. I am a lead nurse at my clinic and I would never speak to my patients the way she did. It baffled me. So, please do not bring your kids there unless she's not there. The new girl , however was such a dream to work with and was so nice.

Getting my insurance updated on my patient profile should not take forever! They wanted to tell me…read morethey're short staffed. But when I gave the lady my information to get it updated on Friday, she told me it would be done on Monday. In my opinion it should of been done on Friday when I called the 2nd time. First time their system was down. Ok that is completely understanding. But when you already have dental anxiety, you shouldn't have to worry about your paperwork when the system is working. I should not have to keep calling back to see if my paperwork has been done or not. This is Completely unprofessional on their part in my opinion!! So yes. I will a new dentist and never coming back here. My suggestion is if you do go here, to never get new dental insurance or anything that needs to be updated because they're going to take forever to do it. Not patient/customer friendly at all. Not sure what happened but 2 years ago this would not have been an issue.

Ever since then things were different. The last two times I went for a simple cleaning I was charged around $70. First time I was told it was for Xrays. Weird I had to pay out of pocket but I just accepted it. Went back earlier this year and paid MORE than the last time, it was $90 something for just a cleaning!? Then suddenly Renee informs me I'm out of network. Couldn't have told me this before? Especially considering I've been loyal to this office for 10 years?! I called to question it and they said they might've charged me for my DADS exam or something. I haven't been under his insurance in years. Renee was out of office so the girl told me they would call back and refund some of it. This was five months ago. Needless to say that refund never happened. Thanks okc smiles, I won't ever be back. Super upset I've recommended people here in the past.
