I had a $27 credit on my account unbeknown to me and conveniently that is what I was charged to wipe out the credit I had. This is theft. I only found out AFTER I asked for a full ledger for my records. I told them I would be filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Dental Board (which I did) and they (the office) sent me back some rule saying that they could charge $15 or $20....no transparency here!!! Keep an eye out on your ledger if you ever go here because you might be charged for things that are not disclosed. I will be in touch with Oklahoma Dental Board because the fight is not over. What happened to surprise billing? I guess that is only for medical patients. If so, the rules need to be changed. Seems like the place can also not keep staff. I think they have had major turnover as there have been 3 different front desk people over the past year. Again, BEWARE of this place!

Weird I had to pay out of pocket but I just accepted it. Went back earlier this year and paid MORE than the last time, it was $90 something for just a cleaning!? Then suddenly Renee informs me I'm out of network. Couldn't have told me this before? Especially considering I've been loyal to this office for 10 years?! I called to question it and they said they might've charged me for my DADS exam or something. I haven't been under his insurance in years. Renee was out of office so the girl told me they would call back and refund some of it. This was five months ago. Needless to say that refund never happened. Thanks okc smiles, I won't ever be back. From the receptionist to the dentist. Unfortunately, he's the husband of the other genius and KIND Kelli Prescott. I had a bad experience a few weeks ago and again today. The first time was mostly the receptionist being extremely rude and when I gave them a second chance, the dentist used my time to put me in his chair, place a bib on, and then began to berate me over my poor review of my experience on google. I went back because it was mostly the receptionist who made it bad the first time. But the dentist topped her behavior with his own. You don't put a client in the chair with a bib so you can tell them you will not be doing the work as previously discussed. He doesn't do extractions, so i went elsewhere for that part. That's where the trouble began and i never should have given him and the clinic another chance. I really did think he'd probably be good because of how excellent his wife always was. I've been to plenty of metro chiropractic businesses, but this is by far my favorite. The staff is…read morepersonable and professional. The doctors encourage asking questions and honest-to-goodness don't mind being asked questions. I'm not a terribly inquisitive person, but if you're going to hold my neck in your hands and potentially kill me like a bad guy spy in a movie--I want to know that you know what the fruitcakes you're doing. The doctors have different methods of adjusting you. If you don't like one method, they have several other methods that won't make you feel odd. (Example: I don't personally like it when a doctor decides to body slam you on the table to crack your back. Instead I lie face down, and I'm perfectly content.) They use e-stem, a roller table, an adjustment by a doctor, and 22 minute massages (yes, you read that right. Massages.) to keep you happy and healthy. All of this is covered by insurance for me--even the massage. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seem to have a high turnover rate. I've had three masseuses tell me it was their last day (they were excellent. I really liked them)...and I've only been here for about two months.

We began the search for another Dentist. Dr. Freeman came highly recommended by a State Employee (who works in the Dental Insurance field). From the time of initial contact to the completion of her extensive work (2 visits) the entire staff was friendly, professional & personable. Dr. Freeman performed 2 root canals and made a temporary so she could smile without broke / missing teeth. He was very thorough, patient and gentle. The second visit was just as the initial. A major plus was the fact that not only did he save both teeth (Schmidt leaned toward extraction & a flipper) but, Dr. Freeman has the equipment & staff to make porcelain crowns while you are there. We will return for all future dental work as well as the kiddos braces/Invisalign needs.

I called them to cancel my appointment and to reschedule but was told they couldn't get me in for 5 months for just a six month checkup. When I was there the time before their lobby was almost empty. They took me to the very back of the place and almost every room I passed was empty. I don't think they have enough Dentists and maybe not enough of other staff either. I was told they had six people who cleaned the teeth during the checkups but they have to wait for a dentist to become available. I called another place and got an appointment less than a week later.
