Rose Rock Dental has changed my life. Before coming here I was petrified of dentists. Now, I look…read moreforward to seeing Dr. Humphrey & his staff! This dental team will treat you like family, and their prices on implants can't even be beaten by the dental college! But let's talk real talk--even when prices are AMAZING, sometimes we still can't afford the whole implant process or other dental work that we need all at once...but that's okay, and I'm here to tell you that. Let's be real, a lot of us are avoiding treatment because of the overwhelming cost in scary economic times for us; inflation is hitting everyone hard right now, as wages fail to compensate for it. Care Credit is great, if you qualify, but a lot of Americans struggle with credit scores, and have to rely on saving up instead. Work in stages, guys! It's totally possible. I've had to work on my implant process for a few years, first affording one part of the procedure, and still saving to finish it. Did that mean I needed to accept covering my smile? Feeling less confident? No. What you're seeing here is a temporary tooth that Dr. Humphrey's team member, Alexis BUILT, on SITE. Long story short, there are OPTIONS --affordable ones--and a treatment plan you can start TODAY. You can get back to smiling sooner than you think, and even if it takes a few years to finish... nobody is keeping track but you. There's no competition here, this is about your health and your self esteem! Is this my permanent implant? No. Does it work while I'm still on my treatment plan journey & was it the cost affordable solution? Absolutely! And! I can eat basically anything I want-- the only thing I wouldn't recommend is biting into corn on the cob lol. You don't have to put your smile off any longer due to fear or overwhelming price tags. They repaired my front tooth today & I couldn't be happier. I know you'll be happy with their plans too.

The woman at the front desk was so friendly, warm and welcoming. Going to the dentist is usually a pretty anxiety-inducing experience for most, but this team treats you like you are family and is very patient with you. They even offer a comfort menu :) Dr. Ramsden listened carefully to my concerns and then came up with a good treatment plan. A lot of dentists tend to rush you out the door; that didn't happen here, and I appreciate that. I highly recommend Rose Rock Dental!

The new dentist up here is really informative and seems to really care about her patients. To top it off the dental hygienist was superior she cleans very well and smooths out between my crowns where was catching when I floss that the dentist I had been seeing the 3 years previous had missed even though I was going every 6 months. So happy to have found good place for all my dental needs!

March 23, 2023 I took my teenage son to the Newcastle Dental…read moreGroup in Newcastle on December 19, 2022. During this visit, the dentist informed me he had twelve cavities. Now keep in mind that this young man has never had a cavity. His last dental visit was around June 2022 at the Okaloosa County Health Department in Florida. He left with a clean bill of health. We returned to the Newcastle Dental Group on January 23, 2023, to fill one quadrant of the worst cavities highlighted by the dental assistant. Going from zero cavities to twelve cavities in roughly six months would naturally raise a red flag with any concerned parent. My wife and I spoke more about the situation and decided to have a second opinion. We chose to visit Dr. James Cox, D.D.S., in Newcastle. Dr. Cox's finding was documented as locating eight small cavities, four of which were compared to the initial x-rays taken by the Newcastle Dental Group, where he validated the four filled by the Newcastle Dental Group were cavities, and he had four additional cavities totaling eight not twelve. All the cavities are about the size of an ink pen tip. On the 22nd of March, we returned to the Newcastle Dental Group to have the remaining four fillings repaired. I informed the receptionist of Dr. Cox's findings, as he gave us a second opinion on the situation. I gave the receptionist the list of the four teeth that required repair. She gave the list to the dentist while the patient was in the chair. Minutes later, he was escorted back to the waiting room where we were told since we received a second opinion and questioned her diagnosis, "we should take him elsewhere." The hygienist told me the dentist told her she "will not go off of any other dentists' recommendations." Dr. Cox verified the same teeth she did, although he did say four of the teeth, she initially said had cavitied in fact did not have anything wrong with them. Any medical professional who maintains a reputable practice should, and without question, adhere to a higher ethical standard of conduct and welcome a second opinion from a fellow physician in the same field. This would only strengthen the patient's trust in their current physician. It has become apparent that her ethical values as a licensed medical professional are in question as she attempted physically alter teeth that did not require attention. Additionally, I personally spoke to three individuals. One current employee of the Newcastle Dental Group told me she is a "very aggressive dentist." The expression on her face and the way she said it, as she told me a lot. Clearly, she knew something was going on that was dishonest within that office. Anyone who is looking for a dentist, be very cautious of this provider.
