I advised I was pursuing getting to PT and would consider the injection if PT feels pain is causing inability of function. Would recommend this practice. Dr. Michael Yurubi, D.O. Was the treating physician. I had my doubts as he is not an 'MD' and I am old school but he was knowledgeable and had training under the Miami Heat physician. Finally I grew up in Miami and very aware of this practice. I even went to school with one of the doctors, Keith Hechtman and of course everyone knows Dr Harlan Selesnick of The Miami Dolphins and Heat. So I would trust them for my needs and you should too.

I met with Dr. Miller and he recommended Carpal Tunnel surgery as I had had cortisone shots and physical therapy and it did not help. He explained the procedure and my possible outcomes and we quickly scheduled the surgery. It's been over 3 months since my surgery and the use and the strength of my hand is 99% back to normal and getting better everyday. With the latter, I have no issues given the nature of the injury. I recently saw one of Dr Fernandez's PAs for my right shoulder which I aggravated playing golf. An X-ray was taken and his opinion was a torn rotator cuff. He said Dr Fernandez didn't do rotator cuffs and referred me to another specialist which took yet another month + to set up an appointment. I'm confused about the reason for the referral as Dr Fernandez's website specifically states that he does rotator cuffs. ???
