After injuring my ankle on October 22, he ordered an MRI to determine whether surgery or another treatment was needed. The MRI was completed on October 24, and the Imaging Center faxed the results on October 26. Despite this, every time I called the office (Oct 27, Nov 11, Nov 17, and Nov 26), I was repeatedly told they had not received the results. The Imaging Center provided written confirmation that the fax was received. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was interrupted, transferred to a dead line, and treated with little empathy or responsibility. After a month without follow-up, my ankle remains swollen and painful, and I have been unable to work. I have filed complaints with my insurance, CMS, and state authorities. The doctor may be good, but the office staff is unprofessional and is preventing patients from receiving appropriate care.

I realize appointments frequently take longer than expected and running late is not uncommon. I think we should have been told at 9:30 that we were facing at least 4 hours in the waiting room.
