She was so kind, she did not dwell on the negative but talked to me in detail about what she felt would need to be done to make them perfect for me! She took them out, colored my hair & the extensions, & put them in (so differently)& she explained the process the whole way thru. (She didn't need to, I trusted her but she wanted me to be comfortable). My previous stylist really took advantage of me & raised the quoted price $1000 while I had color in my hair!!! With Janessa it was clear up front what the cost would be & she she communicated with me the whole time. This time of kicking myself everyday for allowing my self to be taken advantage of I tear up with happiness! THANK YOU JANESSA

Tragic haircuts & toxic attitudes. Yeah. It's bad. The…read morestylist was snotty & defensive & unprofessional. She argued with me on buzzing the bottom & when I insisted, she buzzed way too far up. Like another 2 inches higher than my original line. I told her I didn't want an undercut, I showed her photos before she started cutting, & she chopped me UP. She was bouncing the razor off my head in every direction, she wasn't clipping sections of my hair out of the way. I asked her why she ran the razor so high she snapped "You SAID you wanted it buzzed " I was staring at the bare sides of my head & she said "It'll grow back." Another stylist came over & nagged at me, insisting my girl couldn't buzz it properly because the clippers are too big & that I'm not a professional stylist so I don't know how hair works. I told her that was ridiculous & she should know how to use her own tools. While I battled the 2nd stylist, my girl stood off to the side scoffing & rolling her eyes & snickering. Maybe it was nervous laughter. But she clearly made a mistake & neither one of them could be professional & just fix it, they wanted to argue it away. I told them both I wanted her to clean it up, & I wanted to leave. I had to ask her to blow dry my wet hair, she was pushing for me to get out of her chair like I had done something to HER. I was even about to pay & she told me to just go. I didn't even raise my voice or stomp out, I was trying so hard to keep it together. That "It'll grow back" comment really stung. Not something I want to hear a professional hair stylist say after they've destroyed my mop. I highly recommend avoiding this salon.

I wanted to know if her room is private since I don't get my hair done in front of others. She called me back and let me know her space is private, so I set up an appointment. She texted me a reminder two days before which was helpful. She is located in Salon Boutique, which has many rooms. Her salon is towards the back and the door has blinds, which is what I was looking for. Paige has a great personality; she chatted and had music playing but it wasn't excessive. I love how my hair came out, both the keratin treatment and the haircut, and am so glad I came here. No pictures, but you can see her work on here.

Early the day of my appointment, Paige texted me noting her schedule was running so far behind that she wanted to reschedule. My calendar was flexible so we rescheduled a day or so later. Then she texted me the day of my newly rescheduled appointment informing me that she was running 30 minutes behind and I should arrive late. I appreciated the forewarning and came late as discussed. After arriving at the new appointment time, I still waited for 30 minutes. While my Brazilian Blowout has lasted 2 months I wouldn't return again as I value my time too much.

Debbie did a phenomenal job. We were a party of 7 - each with our own style. From the 20 to the 50 year olds, Debbie made us all happy. No one looked plastic or petrified - my fears were unfounded in her hands. I managed to garden to long in the sun just four days prior to our event. Debbie tackled my uber - strange sunburn pattern against my ghostly pale strap lines - like a true professional. She saved the day! She was flexible, professional and pleasant. A real gem - I highly recommend her.

It looks like I swam in a deeply chlorinated pool…read more I wanted to keep the same overall look I had before -- a warm blend of dark brown and blonde highlights -- but with just a bit more brown added. Most importantly, I asked for the two face-framing pieces in the front to be left solid brown instead of highlighted blonde. That's it. Unfortunately, Tanya was dismissive of my request and pushed back instead of listening. Throughout the appointment, she seemed distracted -- frequently singing along to music and losing track of where she was in the process, which led to uneven highlights. While I don't mind a stylist enjoying their work, I do expect focus and professionalism when I'm paying for a service. The end result was not what I asked for. My hair turned out overly ashy -- both the brown and the blonde -- which was completely different from the warmer tones I had before. The partial highlight didn't blend with the rest of my hair, leaving a harsh contrast between the new and old color. When I brought this up, Tanya insisted she used the same toner as last time, but later admitted she left it on too long. To "fix" the issue, the salon offered two options: wash it a few times and see if it improves, or come back for a full highlight or toner adjustment. Neither of these options addressed the fact that my original request wasn't followed, and both would require more of my time and potentially more money. As a full-time working single mom, I don't have the flexibility to return for corrections that stem from someone else's mistake. For over $300, I expected my hair to be done professionally and correctly the first time. If a mistake is made, the salon should take ownership and say, "You're right -- let's fix it." Instead, I was met with deflection and vague justifications. When I asked for a discount, they reluctantly offered a small one after calling a manager, which felt like pulling teeth. I also asked Tanya directly if I had ever requested an ashy tone -- she wouldn't give me a straight answer and kept deflecting. It felt like she was more focused on defending her choices than taking accountability. In my opinion, Tanya lacks the attention to detail and communication skills necessary for customized color work. If you're looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers consistent, professional results, I would not recommend her. With the manager currently on maternity leave, there was no one available to ensure quality control -- and unfortunately, my hair paid the price.

The receptionist said that I was entitled to get the discount. I booked the appointment. About 10 minutes later the owner called me and said that they wouldn't honor the ad on their own website. First she said that it was for hair extensions only. Then she said that it didn't include services from any master stylists. I told her that I was looking at the ad as we spoke and that it stated that master stylists were included as well as other services. She then told me that she wouldn't honor the 25 percent off and she wasn't even aware of the website special. All were a load of lies. She then told me that I could choose another salon.
