I was getting married soon, and was very nervous about finding a quality artist. I had bad skin, and my blemishes were not easy to cover. I called Leah and set up a trial with her. She was professional, caring, and sweet! Despite being embarassed of my skin condition, I felt comfortable with her and confident she would do a great job on my wedding day. As I expected, Leah came to me on my wedding day calm and ready to beautify me. She did a fabulous job, and I am so happy I found her. Leah did hair/makeup for my wedding and overall extremely disappointed in her services. Most of my bridesmaid's hair fell out shortly after she did it and even after she redid a couple of the girls hair, it still fell out even though she said she had 'special techniques' to keep it up. She spent only about 15 min per head. One of my relatives wanted her hair straightened and Leah did not have a straightener with her. Her attitude and demeanor were also unpleasant to be around the day of the wedding. She's not the kind of person you want around you the day you're getting married. I booked Leah based on Yelp reviews and after rereading the reviews feel like the reviews were left by family/friends. Overall I would not recommend Leah and would suggest hiring anyone else. I'm curious how you reviewed pics from my wedding since I have not gotten my photos back yet. Obviously that is a lie. My friends and family never said those things you said. Another lie. I had her booked for the 3 events I had for my wedding and reception party. I had given her deposit of 150 with the trial to check for makeup and hairstyle. From the first meeting, she was nice. During the trial, I did not like that she couldn't show me what any hairstyle would look like. We did 2 different hairstyles and 2 different makeup looks. None of the styles or looks I could finalize from what she did. Which was okay as it was a trial. Towards the end, she became antsy as she had to leave and told me if she would stay longer, it will be expensive for me. I had my mother in the room to tell me how I looked and when my mother didn't like the certain things, she chose to ignore her. When I told her to do less smokey on my eye, instead of fixing the makeup she had done, all she did was to tell me verbally "ok". To show me how the lashes would look since they were included in my trial, she applied one lash to my left eye and did not glue it. I saw how I looked with 'lash' and I told her I would be good with it. She put the lash back in the plastic box which she took with her. Not a problem for me but that was our trial and she left after that. I got a new invoice from her since I wanted extensions done as well. I chose to buy my own extensions seeing her prices so I could reduce the price, which she did take off from the invoice but then she also added a "new price" for using lashes on trial. That's what ticked me off, I should not have to pay for trying one lash that she didn't even glue and I am sure she used it on someone else or sonewhere.. just because I chose to get my own extensions, she suddenly realized she had to add that charge which wasn't there before. After this incident, I decided to cancel her and I feel I wasted my 150 bucks that I could have used somewhere better. I am sure she might be talented and did great with other people but with me, she didnt show her skills. She was trying to hurry and, not very warm and then to add prices like that. Definitely not okay!! I will not recommend her to anyone! And Leah! Please smile a little more.. it makes a huge difference to your customers, and not just the ones you know. read more

Leah has done my mother and I's hair for a couple of years and, in March, she did the bridal party's hair for my (now) sister in law's wedding. The airbrush make up application was perfect. It was very light and glowy and lasted the whole night until I washed my face at midnight.
