The place is small and has a handful of stations for the various stylists but its not often a place you wait too long at when you are there. The owner Enesa is also one of the stylists and very friendly along with knowing how to give a good haircut. These days my needs are simple based on the fact that it doesn't grow like it used to. That being said I even come in there to get the summer head shaving and keep it clean up above the whole season. The price is reasonable and will run about $25 and isn't bad since I have seen that barbers are charging about $20 these days as well. I do wish that she had someone on staff that could give a good shave as I've always wanted one of those and why not keep the business in her place as opposed to going elsewhere. There is always music on but no television to speak of to bide the wait time. All in all no real complaints and I have been coming here for a number of years.

Her prices are very reasonable, as compared to other places I have gone to. I tried one time, when she was on vacation to get a color/cut in New York City, boy did I get robbed. I'll never do that again. This is the most reasonable place in Bay Ridge and its very convenient. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Loose Ends, men and women. Thank you Enesa for the wonderful haircuts you always give me. Theresa E.

She insisted on using the straightener. I said please, no. She still snuck in a curl with a straightener to try to convince me. I said no once again. She burned my scalp twice due to not paying attention. She picked up her phone for a personal call and almost burned my face running to answer her phone. She then did not know how to accept payment via credit card and made me set it up with the electronic block. I wanted to tip her (which I shouldn't have) with cash. I gave her a 20 and asked for change for the tip. She said thank you and tried to take the 20. I asked again, but she didn't have change for my 20 either. I don't understand how one pays here if they don't have cash change nor do they know how to accept payment via credit card. It felt like this place opened yesterday. After all that, I left the place with uneven curls and parts of my hair left uncurled. I will not be returning.

I realized that she does do haircuts for toddlers as they are sitting down calmly watching shows on a small screen. But when it was my 3-year-old's turn, she panicked because my daughter wouldn't sit still and had started crying when she saw the scissors. She made me feel uncomfortable because she treated us like my daughter's behavior wasn't normal. Then she told us she couldn't do my daughter's hair at all. I give this place some credit because at least she didn't try to do the job when she knew she couldn't handle it. I was upset at her behavior towards my daughter and the fact that she claims to cut kids' hair when she doesn't have the patience or understanding to do so. We ended up going to Cozy's Cuts, which had people with actual experience with toddlers like my daughter who freak out at the thought of a haircut but had the patience and kindness to calm her down.

He was most definitely cursing in his language. Also, he gave me Shirley temple curls and I asked him to brush it out and he got annoyed and said "why didn't you tell me before?"
