This pizzeria is on a busy street. If you are trying to turn in the opposite direction it can be difficult and requires a great deal of patience. There is onsite parking, but I can see it getting full quick. This place has 6 tables within the restaurant. The locals waiting for their meals were super friendly. There is a huge menu of food from sandwiches, pizza, and entrees. When you walk in, the smell is so overwhelming delicious. We ordered a large pizza to go. We were informed 25 minutes for the pizza to be done. The smell was driving us crazy that we ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza to split as we waited. Food: The slice of pepperoni was good. The crust was very thin. We did ask for it to be heated up and the slice arrived super hot and trying to pick it up, we burned our fingers. Don't dive in too quickly. Now once we got the whole pizza to our destination, we tried that. This pizza was super delicious. The crust was thicker and had a wonderful flavor and chew. The toppings were perfect. I highly recommend to order an entire pizza if you can, it is way tastier than the slices already cooked. The large pizza was huge for 2 people, but that is okay, leftovers! We got it home and put it in the fridge. As a late time snack, the colder pizza was even better than the pizza piping hot. TIP: there are signs everywhere that if you pay cash, you get a 4% discount. We paid cash. read more

Just passing through town and craving pizza. Ironically several places were not open at 3pm. Saw this on Apple Maps - only had 3 stars - but I felt it was worth the the chance. I don't why it only had 3 stars, the pizza was awesome! We got a large 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 meat livers. First, the crust was the perfect thickness - on the lighter side and cooked crispy yet soft. Generous portions of meat and just cheesy enough to keep it all together. Super friendly service. About a 15 min wait which was nothing. Wish they were closer to home! read more

A quirky local pizza joint and restaurant. Ambiance: somewhat dirty "time capsule" family pizzeria Pizza: The pre-made sold by-the-slice pizza is bad. But order a fresh pizza and enjoy a great pizza! Prices: just over $28 for a 4 topping large. NOTE: prices include a 4% cash discount. What does that mean? This is the third time I went to Stella's pizzeria, walked in, looked at the assortment that they had to offer at lunchtime and it looked like the pizza has been there since last night. They never offer anything new and exciting. The pizza looks old. They have to always reheat it. Nothing looks fresh and ready to eat like a good pizzeria would offer you. This place has the worst attitude with the women that work there and they surely never offer Sicilian unless you ask to make it what kind of pizzeria does this I give it a zero. read more

Extensive menu with very reasonable prices. Service was great!ordered cheeseburger deluxe which was great. Very generous with toppings-lettuce, tomatoes, red onions. Friend ordered 1/2rack of ribs which came with soup, mashed potatoes and carrots. Ribs were "delicious, not dried out. Potatoes were "real" and carrots freshly sliced". Waitresses were friendly, attentive and efficient. Overall great experience. Definitely will return. read more

Ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner, received 2 pieces of chicken, and 2 chicken wings. The chicken was burned, and the fries were soggy. For $16, I took it back to the restaurant, and the cook said that's the way the meal came wouldn't fix the issue. I won't be back. read more

Stella's Pizzeria - Me, my friends, the food and drinks - Italian Near Me - Hudson, New York

I'm a local and regular. Excellent pizza; tasty pasta (huge portions); great chicken noodle soup; and a yummy taco salad. Plus, the prices are more than reasonable, and service has always been pleasant and prompt. read more

Good food and great attitude. We arrived near closing on a Wednesday (Hudson downtown restaurants are mainly closed on Wednesdays). Stella saved us by allowing us to order a pizza and other items to eat there. Staff was friendly and took great care of us. The food was good and fresh. Another family arrived after us and although they were closing up, invited them in and took care of them also. read more

You can easily miss the best by-the-slice pizza in Hudson--it's just past the overpass by the train track that crosses under Fairview. NYC quality pizza served quickly and without fuss. And then they have some great cannolis! Tough to find them anywhere else near Hudson. And the carrot cake is none to shabby as well! read more

Stopped for lunch, decided on the Phila cheese steak, not like Gino's in Philly but their own take on a cheesesteak and I will say it was the best I've had in this area . Coworker had wings and pizza and said both were very good also. Will stop again when in the area. read more

Picked up a large pizza from here last week. Disappointed. The crust in the photos from Stella's II across the river look much closer to the NYC-style slice we love. Unfortunately, our crust was much thicker and doughy. Probably won't be back again. Seems to be no true NYC slices in Columbia County now that Pizza Den in Chatham closed. Happy to be proven wrong in replies though!! read more

The wraps are good, portion size is hugeee. The pizza too wasn't bad at all. They usually have the food done before the time they say it'll be ready. read more

So very eternally grateful for the amazing service that these guys provided for us very last minute! They were so accommodating for such a last minute request and they had excellent customer service over the phone. Definitely give these guys a shot! read more

I have place an order over the phone I think the kitchen may not have been at fault the counter girls was confused and it sound like she was talking to someone else while taking my order and I got there and it look like a family member was there when I got there so that is that about my food I was very specific on my wrap with no cheese but guess what it had cheese a lot of it and melted on that wrap so I call to complain talk to the same counter girls who put me on hold after I explained to her the problem and never came back on the phone so I will never come back there this place maybe good but not on my eyes tonight and this is my opinion read more

never buy from here again. does any pizza parlor in columbia county believe in putting sauce on their pizzas anymore most dry pizza i have had. i will waite till i get back to long island for real pizza read more

Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza is more than a pizza, it's a meal. I've enjoyed this pizza for years it's been consistently the same delicious taste. Meat lovers pizza is also one of my favorites. The employees are very courteous & friendly. read more

I hate to be that person because I know how reviews can really affect a business but I've eaten here plenty, and it's okay but last night... I had wings from here & was the only one in my house to eat them, today I get food poisoning. Besides a small breakfast all I had was the wings & a slice of pizza. Everyone in my house ate the pizza. The wings didn't look great but in the spirit of being late for dinner anyway, I ate them. Big mistake. Something must not have been fresh, or clean, or prepared properly. No more Stella's for me. read more

I was in Hudson for work and got lunch here for myself and a client. We both had the salad and could probably have split it and still had some left over. The salad was good and fairly priced. Although they said delivery would be over an hour, so i decided to pick it up which only took 45 min! The staff wasn't overly friendly but not distant either. I didn't try the pizza but it looked decent. read more

Pizza was fine, nothing special. Better on days 2 & 3! Order was correct. Honey sesame wings were literally honey drizzled and sesame seeds sprinkled on them, not actually a sauce and weren't flavorful. Wings were on the small side but were nice and crispy. Parking area is a little treacherous getting in and out of especially during busy evening time on Fairview. read more

Love this place, really good food but getting in or out of the parking area is a real hassle!

Always have had an awesome experience with the people who works here and the food is amazing from the pizza to the wings to the Italian dishes! Always hot and fresh! I would recommend going here 10/10! read more

Can't really write too much of a review. After standing at counter for 5 min and bing ignored I walked out. Plenty of people behind counter and not one offered to help or even ask if I was being helped. read more

We ordered two dinners and per their usual they messed up the order. We got home and they gave us a completely wrong dinner. We called them and they said they would bring the correct meal to us only if we return the wrong one, that's fine but they said it would be another half hour. WTF!!! Horrible horrible horrible! They started out real good but this past year they mess up every time we order from them, never going back and make sure you check your food prior to leaving! Update we received the replacement dinner and guess what..... They messed it up again! What a surprise! Good luck if you order from them read more

Best wings in the area by far!! Good size, flavor, and they're crispy. Wouldn't go anywhere else for them when I'm up here. Their pizza is decent too. Haven't tried anything else, but the four stars are for their wings. read more

We've been going to Stella's for some time now, ALWAYS great food and service. A big thing for us, is consistency. The food is top quality, our order is always correct and the employees are fast, kind and efficient. Whenever pizza is our choice, we go to Stellas! Next time you're in Hudson, stop by there you won't be disappointed! read more

No pizza options..... Women at the counter was rude and annoyed at the fact we were trying to have lunch. Pizza was old burnt and dry

Excellent eggplant parm, and chicken wings. Staff could use some personality. Overall good value for taste and portions.

So glad that I can go back to Stella ' s for great pizza. Ex boyfriend, never liked the food, so had to go elsewhere. Now, he is gone, I can go back to the best place in town for a great pizza. The cannoli 's are excellent. Nice and professional staff. Looking forward for trying out their dinners. read more

Okay, after 5 years of dealing with inconsistent quality, poor customer service, crazy long delivery times and routinely messed up orders, I'm officially done ordering from Stellas. Tonight was the tri-fecta of incompetence that broke the camels back: almost two hours for delivery, one pizza was completely wrong, they forgot two of the things we ordered and the second pizza was literally raw in the middle. Then replacement pizza was also raw :( This place is straight up terrible and a total waste of money. read more

Delicious pizza delivered piping hot!! Will definitely order again. Their coconut cake and cannoli's were made fresh and reminded me of my grandmothers, a very long time ago. The staff are sweethearts and I can't wait to go again! read more

My husband and I absolutely love Stellas! For us, consistency is crucial and Stellas has consistently quality food. With an area like Hudson that has many different pizza places, I imagine it's hard to stick out. But as customers who order almost weekly, we've never had an order wrong and the food is always on point. I don't know if it's homemade but their blue cheese is divine! Prices are decent and the food options are plentiful- we highly recommend Stellas!! read more

I stood at the counter for a full ten minutes before anyone made eye contact or acknowledged me in any way. If I hadn't already ordered by phone, I would have walked out. This kind of comment consistently show up in their reviews going back to 2014. Clearly, they don't care. Good was ok, which is why I gave them 2 stars. Want great pizza? Go to Jojo's in Taghkanic. read more

We ordered lunch at 11 for delivery at noon and at 12:40 we still did not receive our order!!! We called 3 times to check on the order...the first time we were told the pizzas were done and sitting on the counter waiting on the driver. The second time 10 mins later we were told the order wasn't finished. The third time we were told it would be here in 1 minute that the driver was close. We are still waiting an hour and 45 minutes later read more

We bought a pizza ... Classic one and added vegetables. Was charged $35. Willing to pay that much and expected it was going to be good. Unfortunately, the crust was doughy and the toppings were minimal ..... Definitely not worth it and will not be back. Very disappointed that I recommended to my friends to try this place.... All of us were so disappointed. One of them commented that the best thing about the pizza was the crushed red peppers we added to make it taste better, read more

Fairly icky atmosphere. Just OK food BUT the service really blows. I waited about 20 minutes for my order( take out) and after 10 I asked to make sure my order had gone back to the kitchen and it had not! Also, can't tell you how many times Ive gone and witnessed disgustingly behaved children there while I wait for my pickup. The people on staff NEVER ask the Moms to stop their kids from playing tag in the restaurant or screaming incessantly. They just don't care about the customers experience. read more

Hi. I was looking on the Internet for a restaurant that delivered. My previous go to pizza place had changed their prices and the quality of food has dropped. Since I live close to Stellas, I figured I would give it a try and am glad I did. Decent prices. Order came on time as promised and friendly phone service. Their wings were nice and large. Sub rolls fresh and brownies to die for. So glad I ventured out. Cant wait to try other items. Stella, you have a new customer! Keep up the good work! read more
