Just stumbled onto this great shop and wow is the food great! And they deliver too. Bought lunch and had to go back to try other offerings; all were tasty and big enough portions for two servings. Stella's is awesome. They are much more of a meal prep pickup place, but they do have a table and microwave to enjoy their meals of you are in the area shopping around. The chocolate pudding is 10/10 and both meals my husband and I got were good portions, excellent flavor and within our paleo food preferences. Highly recommend! They do run out of food options so it's best to plan ahead or call ahead to make sure they have food available when you want it. read more

New neighborhood farm to table meal prep spot for those of us that like to eat healthy but might have time issues (or are just lazy). They offer paleo, whole 30, macro-based clean label meals using local and fresh ingredients. Submit your order by Friday and pick up your meals for the week by Monday or drop in and grab something at random. I walked by today and noticed them- I guess they have been in the hood for around a month. Super friendly staff explained to us how they worked and gave us a 10% off coupon for next time. Our prepared meals arrived not once, but twice, with staples mixed in with the meal. We called and they essentially told us that is wasn't their fault, offered no realistic explanation other than that that if we didn't want staples in our food, we should stop putting staples in our food. We've cancelled our subscription, and I'll be contacting the authorities. If you don't want to eat staples, don't get anything from Stella's. read more

I was gifted a gift card and was super excited to order meals. I put in my information for delivery and paid. Everything went through fine and not once did I get an error message saying delivery was not available in my area. It also says, delivery to all of Portland. I got a call saying my food was ready for pick up and I had until 3 pm THAT day to pick up or it would be taken to another location (even farther from my home) and then I was told I only had until the next day to pick it up or it would be thrown out. I was unable to pick up because I work the hours they're available. When I called and explained what happened, I was told I would not have been able to select delivery if my address was undeliverable and that I could not get a refund. So, I decided to try to place an order again because I'm extremely busy and may have honestly missed where it said I was outside their delivery boundaries. Again, I put in my address and was given no error message at all. I was taken to the next screen to pay with no issues. I understand small businesses not having the ability to hand out refunds (which I wasn't asking for- I asked if there was anything I could do about what had happened), but a little customer service and not being talked to like a child when the information given was actually incorrect, even just an apology for the misunderstanding, would have gone a long way. read more

We are big fans of this service! I wanted a local, pasture raised, grass fed, gluten/dairy/soy/added sugar free meals with compostable and minimal packaging. Today I had their cumin chicken and poblano cream sauce for lunch and it was so amazing I had to make this post!! I have been ordering their whole 30 5 days a week both lunches and dinner for two weeks now. There has not been a single meal I did not enjoy! They do a great job of spicing the meals so that they are super flavorful and yummy. Was worried about how long the meals would be good for since they are already cooked but they provide a good variety so you can plan to eat those that have veggies that may have a shorter life at the beginning of the week and eat those that are a bit hardier at the end. They also have only put in one salad a week, which as someone who is not a huge fan of salads has been great. When I've done whole 30 on my own I often have felt it is so much meat and gets boring after a while, but not the case at all with Stella's. They have really good variety. I used to order from Sunbasket (like Blue Apron) but Stella's is so much better! Stella's saves me gobs of time not having to shop, cook, or clean up anymore. Stella's is also very reasonably priced and their containers are compostable! So much less waste going to the trash or recycling! Highly recommend Stella's. read more
