This scent is my favorite of the shampoos and conditioners they carry!

I love Realm Refillery! I go here for restock on my household staples like garlic powder, face wash, snacks and more! I also find local, fresh produce that makes planning dinner fun. The staff are always so welcoming and helpful, they also take suggestions if there are items you don't see in the shop! This is the perfect stop for finding local, small batch products while feeling safe while you shop!

By far my favorite place to shop. Not only is everyone nice but my money is supporting a business with actual morals.

On a recent visit here it is still a special place worth visiting and supporting. Kate, who works in bulk, was friendly and helpful. I ended up picking up some goji berries in bulk, harmless coconut water to hydrate the walkabout in the sun, and some medjool dates rolled in coconut with a sliced date on top. They have a great variety of everything from flowers, to heaps in bulk including: numerous whole grains, to various local coffee beans, almonds, and even reishi mushrooms in bulk. I try to eat a lot of whole grains. Quinoa is a staple of mine in San Francisco for it cooks fast, is high in protein, and just make sure to rinse first. 20 min it is done. For produce they had amazing heirloom tomatoes in a variety of colors, avocado, and heaps of greens which are a favorite of mine. Greens such as kale cook up fast with a little bit of olive oil or steamed. Anyone living in or visiting Portland should check out this gem of a store with amazing products and friendly helpful staff.

It's not a grocery store where you'd do all of your weekly shopping; it's a corner store where you pop in for a chocolate bar or an ingredient you forgot. The selection is decent, but it's a tiny store and the prices are astronomical. One would have to be very "new Portland" to do their regular shopping here. That's not my problem with the place, though. It serves its purpose just fine. My problem is with the staff, who have never once been friendly or even nice to me. My experiences have ranged from vaguely hostile to mildly annoyed at my presence to total apathy. I don't need the person checking me out to jump for joy at doing so, but I also don't want to feel like an intruder or annoyance for trying to buy a can of cider. It's at the point where I almost dread going in even for a brief interaction. I wish Alberta had better alternatives for a corner store.

They then proceeded to be welcoming towards a white man who came in shortly after me. Every word out of her mouth was laced with passive aggression. It's honestly embarrassing that these people claim to be healers with such deeply discriminatory and disrespectful demeanors. Herbalism and spirituality is merely an aesthetic for them with none of the values that follow. Spiritual narcissists at best. If you enjoy your tea with an egregious side of pretension and want to walk out of there feeling like crap, this is the place for you. If not, I highly suggest going somewhere else. Don't be fooled by their bandaid responses to other instances like this and the one they will probably write to this one to keep their pockets lined $$$. They don't care, hence why this has occurred on multiple occasions. No amount of sage can cleanse this place. Not typically one to leave reviews, whether good or bad, but this experience was shocking. POC beware.

Their wine bar is fantastic, and good-priced, and it was fun to watch the last of the World Cup here today. If you're looking for something special or hard to find, this is the place, much like the old Pastaworks was on Hawthorne. They really shine on their produce, pasta and fresh meats here, and there's always something new, but I love that you can count on the bakery for your focaccia and other fresh breads. Cheese case is like Rue Cler, Paris--so much selection and they will tell you about each one of them. Don't be afraid to just ask a lot of questions. I wish that they did some little items in the bakery, one of my fondest memories from childhood was going to Pastaworks with my dad and getting a breadstick, probably eating it before we even paid (we did), as we strolled around, and where's the peanut sauce for pasta, another favorite of the old days, yup, I'm old. Can't say enough good things about this place, it can add up though as others have mentioned, but, if you keep to a list or just slow the roll on the impulse buy, it's actually reasonable and you know you're getting what you're paying for. I've never regretted a purchase here or thought it unfair. I mean, it says Fine Foods right there in the name...:) Thank you for the amazing ingredients for dinner tonight, cheers!
