However, they did have some kind of odd blinky holiday lights that made annoying noises throughout my visit. I toured each aisle and there wasn't anything to my liking but I can see where a new Asian restaurant could completing outfit their establishment with everything they need. It was nice to see they had real plants! I would consider returning for those or maybe some of their pots. Prices were okay, not great. After glancing at Yelp photos, the 20 % off Yelp check in caught my eye, and the funny t-shirts, the ones on their profile pic. I asked my personal Uber driver ( my other half) to take me. You will not miss this place, there is a huge business sign and parking is available on both sides of the lot. I don't know where to begin looking, the store is clutter but it is a good clutter. There are tons and tons of stuff. Its like a one stop shop, Things you need in Chinatown and the flea market combined together. I am pretty sure you will find something you don't need but actually need here. Just like my experience here. I had fun looking around, Lets see this shop is HUGE! There are sandals, shoes, clothing for mens, womens, children, tshirts, hats, make up, hair accessories, phone accessories, even blankets. If you can't find what you are looking for, ask the owner, she is super friendly. I recall her name is Long. I had fun talking to her and she helped me find what I was looking for. As I mentioned I found 2 items that I didn't need but needed. I saw 2 hats , I didn't think I needed it but bought it for my mom and good friend. ( they both love hats!) I came to shop not looking for hats and not needing it but then I am so glad I bought them because my mom and good friend loved the hats. I also bought those funny saying shirts to give away as souvenirs. They are pretty funny! I was able to use my 20 percent Yelp check in and I am so happy to discover a new place in Portland. I noticed the blankets are cheap, they are the really soft blankets which comes in different color, prints, and even comes with a bag. I remember those blankets, during my childhood days my mom used to buy that blanket for us and I remember they cost more than what Portland Closeout sells them for. I am going to buy a blanket next time I visit. After paying for my items, Long mentioned that her husband is at the store across. Note: Portland Closeout is in 2 separate shop. The store is in front where Long's husband manage has all household items for your kitchen, home and garden which includes furniture, plants, even paintings. This store does look clutter as well, but its a good clutter!! I noticed children's bicycles out in front. This store has EVERYTHING!! Overall, I love how I discovered this place and I enjoyed my shopping experience here. I will be back. This is the first really bad experience I've had with a Costco food court and this is not my normal Costco. I called ahead and pre-ordered my pizza. When I paid for my pizza. I also ordered two mocha freezes and a strawberry frozen yogurt. The food court staff did not put the lid on the mocha freeze and for whatever reason thought this was a coyote ugly experience and slid the mocha freeze across the counter with such Force. It went right off the counter and all over myself and my son. Wall covered in sticky sugar, the food court staff just stood there watching us. A random 7-year-old had to go and get paper towels so I could try to not track mocha freeze all over. The food court staff immediately asked if I would want them to remake the one they threw at me. I was beyond confused and told them I have to go to the bathroom to wash out my shoes and pants now. As I was able to catch one of the mocha freezes. The food card staff told me they would put it in the refrigerator To which I'm thinking you will remake my order. When I come back. After trying to remove all of the mocha freeze in the bathroom, we came back and had to wait in line as they were very confused that we still wanted our order. They finally gave us our pizza which they made wrong and told us we would have to go to the end of the queue if we wanted to get the pizza we ordered. A. At which point a manager was called over to try to assist in the situation. She told me she would watch the video feed later and wanted to know what she could do to help. I said I would like my food but since it's not ready I would like a refund. She then said she would give us a gift card but that would take too much time and the next time we come to just ask for her? Everything about the situation was weird. She then tried to get a refund on my $17 order but was unable to. Eventually she handed me $10 cash to try to fix this mistake. I was still covered in mocha freeze. The order was wrong. And I will not be getting food from this Costco food court again.

Service was usually good. There is no other outlet nearby (one in eastside Portland, one in Gresham), so it will be missed by all regular customers. Their card advertised "close-outs and liquidations," and now, sadly, it seems they have been closed out and liquidated.

I had a VERY bad experience with a SUPER rude cashier who I now avoid who was throwing items down the belt - like chips and avocados- stuff people don't want THROWN. When I said I would bag it the girl who was bagging/helping legit grabbed the item out of my hand. I was fit to be tied. So I grabbed the item BACK and said I got it. Then the cashier got really really rude. My son said "wow no one has ever been so rude at Costco like that Mama." The cashier said she was going to get a manager and I said PLEASE do. I explained the issue and paid and LEFT. GAH I still get mad thinking about how nasty she is. And she is not a friendly employee as I've seen her multiple times since. Then you have Ed (are you still there?!?) and Jen - both of whom I'm SURE have been there for the 9 + years since we moved to Oregon and have had a membership. People who are super friendly. Engaging. And legit NEVER seem to be without a smile. My daughter recently had a meltdown because we were told that the Chipotle "B" sauce is discontinued. I said sorry kid. Special occasions only now - since they are $5.99 at Costco for a POUND versus 6 ounces or 8 for $7-10 anywhere else. Nope. Then we got to Costco and I said "just look - we never know" and she came back with 4 "B" sauce lol she said "I think people must have thought I was crazy because I screamed when I saw it and was jumping up and down." Thanks for bringing it back Costco!! Anyway - aside from evil grumpy cashier Costco is everything- like Danny Rojas says "Footbol is life." Costco is PNW LIFE!
