All treatments are SO helpful to my skin and wellbeing, but the TMJ treatment has literally changed my life. I grind my teeth and tend to clench my jaw when I'm stressed. I shared time with Simone who did a Human Design reading, a brow wax, and a facial. It was an amazing experience! She talked me through the reading and answered any questions that came up. It was a very validating experience and left me with an awareness of what to pay attention to or strengths I can better hone. The facial was wonderful and she was very attentive to what my skin was doing throughout the experience. She made a pivot allowing my skin to respond in its optimal way and it all felt amazing! The brow wax was exactly what I wanted. Not painful at all, and a very nurturing experience. Simone also walked me through my skincare routine and confirmed what was best for my skin type vs what was hype. From the moment I walked into Stellar Skin Studio I knew it was going to be a treat - lovely energy in the waiting area (little bamboo fountain w/running water, aromatherapy, soft music, etc.) Laura greeted me and started me with a short questionnaire (Come a few minutes early if it's your first time) and then away we went! Laura's calm energy was such a nice invitation to simply relax. She asked me enough questions to know what she needed to know and not more. I love that she allows for peace and quiet during the treatment so I could just drift into serenity. The products are heavenly and Laura applies them with such skill - any opportunity to use massage technique, she does it! Plus every detail was so attended to, the pre-warmed mask, seamless transitions from one step to the next - within 15 minutes I was drifting into dreamland. I specifically went to Laura because my Jaw tension from not being able to get treatments during the pandemic was reaching unbearable levels. She heard me on this and I have to say, I've not had a facial massage of equal caliber in my entire life (and I've been in the spa industry for over 12 years so I'm no stranger to facials or massage). I have had microneedling done before, but my first treatment with Laura at Stellar Skin Studio was last month and the difference was night and day for my skin and pores. My hyperpigmentation has significantly improved, and the downtime was so much less than my previous experience with this treatment and a different esthetician.
