And while my feet were soaking, my knees were bent as I laid down on a bed. This is my own preference, but I have bad knees, so bending my knees for a good 20 minutes while they were soaking in the relaxing water And therapeutic bubbles for my feet on my knees. One could not tell they were with other people in the same room because you wore a mask that was beautifully scented and very relaxing. I close my eyes even though I had a mask on but I could still randomly hear other people. Lol like I said for 40 bucks you can't really beat the price, but there were some parts that were a bit uncomfortable. The massage was adequate for my feet and neck and back, but I did have a knot in my shoulder on the left side, but the lady didn't really get the knot out. So I went to my acupuncturist instead. When I saw my acupuncturist at Gen Acupuncture in Sunnyvale California, she was able to get the knot out of my back/shoulder area. I digress, for Petaluma, and 40 bucks cash. Perhaps next time I'll get a full body massage and get a private room so I can fully lay down and just bring more cash with me next time. They charged more for credit card use so I was lucky I had cash on me at the time. Yet, This can't be beat, but because I'm picky I think I'll just stick to a pedicure and my acupuncturist for help in Sunnyvale. My pedicurist is in Campbell, California at Thao's Organic Nails. I'd happily pay it if it was worth it...but it wasn't...I only laid on my stomach. I have been to massage studios where you flip after 15 min. Also, my body was covered with a disposable cloth the entire time and massaged through the cloth. Needless to say, this place is an entire rip-off and a complete and utter disappointment. I thought Petaluma had better to offer but this establishment came up short. Those were Hollywood prices for slumlord service.

Jordanna is the best massage therapist I've encountered…read more She's extremely thoughtful, careful, and just flat out talented. I've been seeing her for over a year, and I've never once had a session that was anything less than stellar. Many massage therapists, even very skillful ones, will occasionally find themselves "just going through the motions," but Jordanna has always found the time and energy to put serious thought into our sessions. I'm always amazed at how willing she is to take some extra time to figure out what's going on with my body and mind and how she can help me. She's wonderful at managing all the little factors that can cause distractions during a session (noise level, draping issues, etc.), and making sure I'm able to drift off and let myself relax. She's also a great communicator. Jordanna is interested in learning from any and all sorts of massage traditions and modalities, but is also serious about making sure there is some scientific or concrete basis to believe that her methods can be genuinely beneficial. Basically I bring this up to point out that while she has interest in methods that some may consider "alternative," I've never once felt uncomfortable discussing my thoughts or skepticism of a given practice, and she always adapts her practices to my needs and interests.
