There is nothing about this place that isn't awesome!! Visiting from Denver..will come back again and again. Staff was only trumped by the food..both were by far some of the best I've ever had. I have been to Stella Blu a couple of times and have been pleased each time. Usually with tapas places, you'll come across a dish or two that you don't care for as much as the others, but everything I have tried there I have enjoyed. There is a lengthy list of cocktails as well, which is always a good sign. Only service gripe was that we seemed to have to wait a while to get our check. One big plus is that Stella has an entirely separate gluten free menu, and the selection was pretty assorted. This is a step above those places where you have to ask and they'll let you know if a given dish is gluten free or not - something that matters if your table is ordering 6-10 different plates. We also came on a Friday night and there was a musician playing up front; he was good, and we were glad to notice the noise level was just right and not overwhelming. read more

The owners are great guys and we always enjoy their company, whether we go for dinner or just a few drinks. The wait staff is very attentive and considerate. Michaela is an excellent bartender. When we tried to get information about having a wedding shower here, we were told "sure, we do that all the time, we will call you back to get all the details" three weeks later no call, so we went elsewhere. Beverages are always decent, food is mostly small plates done all fancy but I'm not into it. As I recall, the food is pretty good though. The really noticeable thing bout this place is al the hard surfaces for sound to reflect off. Bring your mukluks in case you get seated just inside the front door on a cold night, you'll need 'em. My big gripe was that it was to damn loud. Great service, mostly good tapas- I didn't care for the way they cooked the scallops but the pulled pork, fish tacos, pork rib, brussel sprouts and cheese plate we had were all yummy. I used to come to Stella Blu once in a while over the last couple of years and was always kind of meh about it. I heard it got new owners so we went to check it out again and WOW. They have certainly breathed new life into the place. New decor, brand new menu, and the food is really good. I ordered the French dip slider, the buffalo chicken dip, Brussels sprouts, and the pumpkin ravioli. The ravioli was especially delicious. Service is a little on the slow side, but we really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back. read more

This is a great place for a nice dinner, apps, or a couple of drinks. It's a little on the pricey end, but their food is really good. Their menu is ever changing. I love their arancini, lamb lollipops, lobster mac and cheese, pita and hummus, hanger steak. Their churros are amazing as well. Try one of their cocktails. All of them are excellent. My favorite, which they don't seem to have lately on the menu is their blackberry creme martini. Tastes like black raspberry ice cream! Service was excellent. Decent liquor selection...wine list could use some work. Ambiance was OK. Seemed to attract a rather eclectic mix of clientele Mirroring another poster's comments, "AmericanTapas" also made me slightly apprehensive, but hey ' try something new everyday right?' Went based on a local's recommendation and am not dying to return. Fennel salad plating was great, but taste was disappointing based on the hyper-sweet fruit puree (dressing?) it which it was bathed. Did not finish this plate due to taste. Crap dip was waaaayyyy too oily...0.125" floating on top of the crock completely masked any seafood taste whatsoever - cmon! Additionally, calling what appeared to be bagged bread chips with garlic salt on them garlic Crostinis is very misleading - I was expecting in-house prepared and was disappointed to say the least. The bread & chorizo was the biggest disappointment. From tapas standards, serving size was miniscule. Fried bread sounded interesting but was so hard, chewing was difficult. Roasted red peppers tasted and appeared straight from a jar/can - think Cora. The Chorizo wasnt the best I've ever had, but there's been worse. The oil/salt overload that this menu item presented was just too much. Lobster mac spring roll got my attention and was highly recommended by the server. The internal mac&cheese lobster filling was dry...very dry, yet the spring roll was somehow so greasy that it was unconsumable. I was expecting moist lobster and oozing cheesy filling, but somehow the frying seemed to extract every iota of moisture from the internals. At first view, the aesthetics of the dish were lacking. The halved grilled brussel sprouts were actually flat-topped and not agitated enough as about 50% of them were burnt. I like flame grilled veggies, not pan or griddle seared. They, like many of the other menu items we had, were also extremely oily. Churro sticks were a comp'd item based on our honesty about the oilyness of the food to the waiter...were good, but could have been patted somewhat seeing as the chief reson for receiving them was due to greasy food opine. The highlight was the Arancini. Well plated and although the breading was a bit on the thick side, still excellent tasting. I'd give these 4 out of 5. PS - the bartenders were very generous on their pours which is a definite positive in my book. So with 5 out of 7 items being something I'd never order again, Stella Blu has not made it into my contacts list for Nashua restaurants read more

They have wine and beer flights which I love, it's always fun to try new wines and see what you do and don't like. Their empanadas are really good and so are the sliders. The food in 3/25 was amazing as usual but the service while sitting at the bar was awful. We were there 10 min before someone came over. After we got menus it was another 25 before the server took our order and then at the end of our meal it took 30 min to get our check and then at least another 15 before she came back to get our payment. We even watched one couple come in and sit down and they left after 20 min because no one ever went over to them. Not the best service night for sure. read more

Went with two friends on a Friday night. We thought the place would be packed so we made reservations, but it wasn't too bad. We each decided to order something different so we could try each others meals The pita chips and hummus was more like crackers and squash dip to me. The salmon was good as well as the pulled pork and the spanish style chicken and rice. We did not go before six so we did not want to spend $10 on a drink. There were two waiters on and as the night went on and more people started to come in the service began to go downhill. We ordered steamed vegetables and never received them. Multiple different people brought our food out to us at different times. The place was not organized at all. There was one woman going around filling water glasses, but she never came to our table and we had to ask our waiter multiple times to fill our glasses. Overall the atmosphere was nice and the small portions allowed us to sample different meals, but they really need to work on organizing their service! read more

Eclectic mix of influences - from American to Asian to Latin American - but they seem to do it all well! First time here. Dan was our waiter he was awesome. We started with two Martini's. I had the spring martini. Really nice on a really hot day. We started with calamari. Compliments to the chef!! This is by far the best place around. If you want good quality food.. You need to try this place! My friend and I went here last night. Every dish that came out was amazing! These are small plates but no complaints here about that! Everything looks delicious I wanted to try every dish which is why it's great they decided to do small plates. We got the arancini's first. They sit on top of a light marinara sauce that is delicious! Next came the Beer Braised Beef Short Rib which I highly recommend! Falls apart with just a fork -YUM! Then we got the thin crust Prosciutto and Fig pizza. The sweet/salty mix on this is perfect! We of course couldn't pass up dessert! Well I couldn't! Crème Brulee with fresh fruit .. Oh my! I wanted to order another to take home! We had a few Martinis as well.. The Upper Manhattan, Expresso, and a gin cucumber martini that I can't remember the name to. All very delicious! Wonderful place for a wide and eclectic variety of tapas. We started our meal with the apple fennel salad and roasted beet salad. We moved on to pulled pork, shrimp and grits, lobster mac spring rolls, and arranccini. All we very good. We managed to still have room and for dessert we had molton chocolate cake and churros.
