Sincere gratitude for the exceptional care Dr. Elson provided to my pets. While he previously…read moretreated my Australian Shepherd wonderfully, I am especially grateful for his recent help with my four-month-old kitten. Thank you for fitting us in for a last-minute appointment this past Saturday. Your quick diagnosis and successful surgery just an hour later truly saved his life. I am extremely grateful for your dedication and skill.

When I brought in my dogs for their vaccinations, they completely missed the date of one of my dogs rabies vaccination and he ended up being unvaccinated for months. When I called them about this, the person who answered the phone didn't apologize and was very flippant about it. I had to advocate for an apology, and it was only at that point that they offered to comp the cost of the appointment. Then this month, one of my dog's was sick, and I had to wait three days for an appointment b/c they had only had one vet on staff. We finally got bloodwork done and I was told we'd hear back from the doctor the next day. I called at 4pm the next day as I hadn't heard anything (mind you, my dog still is sick), and they weren't able to tell me anything. I then had to call back again at 11am the following day, and a diagnosis of diabetes was delivered over the phone by a receptionist - with no empathy, no explanation, no walking me through a care plan, or what to expect, etc. They then told me I had to go to ANOTHER vet down the road to learn how to administer insulin. It was horrendous, and to this day, no one has called to follow up to see how he's even doing or what the status is. All that to say, we're now happy customers down the road at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital. They are kind, professional, knowledgeable, caring, and generous. I recommend them as an alternative to this place.

They are very friendly from the moment you walk in. You never seem to wait long for your appointment. Recently I had an emergency where my dogs were in a house fire with tremendous amount of smoke. I have two dogs one was four and the other one was 10 years old. The four-year-old managed to get out of the area of the smoke but my 10-year-old Shih Tzu was blind and ended up being in the room with heavy smoke damage until the fireman went in to find him. My friend took my SHIH TZU to the animal hospital unannounced and they hooked him up to oxygen immediately and kept him for the day for observation. He ended up being fine with the care of the doctors at NewFairfield animal hospital. When it was time to put my dog to sleep the doctors couldn't be more passionate and caring during the process. I would not choose another vet Ever to care for my babies. NewFairfield is very lucky to have them here.

This place has really gone down hill!! Big time! I started going there 10 years ago and I loved it!…read moreThe girls at the front desk were amazing and the techs too they loved the animals so much! The vets too! But now omg no way! Soooo sooo soo awful! Don't ever bring your babies there ever!!!!!!!! The front desk is soo rude and doesn't even look at you or even say hello to the animal then the vet tech Pricilla was the worst!!! Just a miserable grumpy angry women! Not a smile if you paid her I bring my cat she grabs him so hard with these huge gloves and towel doesn't say hello or anything! The vet was just as bad! Rude unfriendly uncaring just horrific! I have had animals for my whole life! I grew up with a little farm we had horses cats dogs etc so I know animals very well and I have been to many vets in my lifetime! This was the worst experience of my life! I would never bring my baby to that awful place ever again! The vet didn't even touch my cat other than jab him with the shot she said she couldn't listen to his heart or look at anything? Meanwhile they have done things yearly for ten years no problem! Anyway do not ever go waste your animals time and stress to not be showed any love or care or kindness! I will tell everyone I know and all the people I sent there to never go again! I don't want anyone else's babies to go through that treatment ever again! You guys need to be shut down! Idk anyone who would want to bring their babies to a place so full of anger and just unhappy miserable people! Who don't seem to care about the animals or the people who are bringing their babies there! You need a whole new staff and or retraining and some happy pills or therapy for them! Seriously it was that bad! Get it together!

I have been taking my dogs to Noah's Ark for over 15 years. They have always been treated in an…read moreextraordinary manner and by more than one vet. I am speaking about clearly excellent and comprehensive expertise. I am speaking about gentleness, compassion and time to explain options for wellness or treatment. I am speaking about same day appointments when my dogs were in distress. And I am speaking about kindness expressed by every staff member's warmth and caring from arrival to departure. In August of 2017 one of my two fifteen year old Bichons, Nickie, experienced a near death experience from kidney failure. My much loved prior vet, Dr. Grader, had moved out of town. So we saw Dr. Pia for the very first time. We immediately began to receive her utmost attention to detail with constant significant information about his condition and treatment recommendations. Nickie was under daytime hospital care for four days. I was there every day and then in and out for weeks afterward. Nickie is still being carefully monitored and won't live much longer. But his tail is wagging, he is again giving kisses and enjoying his life under her care. Dr. Pia always answered endless questions from me as I cried and sought guidance and reassurance. Her patience and generosity were always present. I felt totally confident at all times. The managers, Joanna and Linda, whom I had never met, listened and spoke to me frequently expressing their kindness and support. And Sarah, one of the receptionists, is indescribable in her caring for pets and owners alike. She hugged me more than once and compassionately listened as I cried all the time. How many individuals in this world would take a beloved pet to visit an owner in a rehabilitation center with no other family member to do so? Sarah did. How about the technician, Brett, who patiently sat on the floor to guide me in learning how to administer saline to Nickie at home. There is no way I can recommend, praise or thank the staff at Noah's Ark enough unless I share my experiences here with you.

Noah's ark was there for me. We caught the pneumonia early. If we didn't it could've quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation. Her passing was…read moreabsolutely heartbreaking for my family, and toward the end, I wanted to try anything and everything that might make her more comfortable. Dr. Dani Szajer went far above and beyond for us. She truly understands how hard it is to lose a pet. Every medication I asked to try, she prescribed (within reason). I am sure I was an emotional handful, but Dr. Dani and Selena were so patient and understanding. When I knew my dog had reached the end, I called at about 3:00 p.m., and they let us come in that same afternoon rather than making her spend her last moments at a strange emergency vet. When we arrived, three women were there to help take her in on a gurney. She was 115 lbs so that was no small task. They lit a candle in the main waiting room and in the exam room, and they put down a soft blanket for our dog and for us to lie on with her. Dr. Dani explained everything and gave us ample, unrushed time to say goodbye even though by then it was nearing closing time. It was all so peaceful and respectful of our beloved dog. And throughout the 10 years she was their patient, they were always professional and always very kind to us. I am so grateful for the way they helped us when my dog passed away. It was so incredibly painful, and their help meant so much to our healing to know that she died with us, in a peaceful place, surrounded by respect and care, with her wonderful life honored.
