Last Saturday, my dog Bello was very ill. I was not entirely happy with the previous vet, and my…read moredaughter and I took our hemorrhaging boy to Mill Plain Vets. He was clearly desperately I'll, and I feared the worst. A week later my best companion and loving family member is lying beside me, alive and recovering. I can dream again of our walks and yet un-tried explorations and of future travels with my best buddy; prospects that were all the sweeter to imagine his enjoyment of them with me seemed bitter and flat. Bello is alive today, with hope of a few more good years with my loving, patient, gentle good boy because we went to Mill Plain Vet. They will always be our vets from now on. Our gratitude is profound. The standards of care at Mill Plains Vets is of the highest. They combine professionalism and heart to a rare degree. They were professional in their expertise and integrity; gracious and understanding to my daughter and me; and, perhaps above all, kind and caring to my gentle, sweet boy. He was suffering and dying, and must have been confused and scared. He is a loving boy who does not like being apart from us. The warmth and kind understanding of the staff reassured him. I think he knew from that that they were helping. I can not convey adequately our gratitude to and regard for the fine people at Mill Plain Vets. I have new heroes. I would like to add a shout-out to vet techs Jessy and Eric. They are amazing people. As lost in a cloud of illness as he was, my sweet boy was comforted by their kindness when we dropped them off. It eased our worries with Bello away from us for the first time to know that he was in such good hands. The next day, Jessy sent us a photo of Bello standing in his cage from her personal phone, and that reassurance meant worlds to us. Mill Plain Vets are not merely superlative professionals, they go beyond the extra mile--it was an extra league. They have our regard and gratitude hereon.

I have been taking my dogs to Noah's Ark for over 15 years. They have always been treated in an…read moreextraordinary manner and by more than one vet. I am speaking about clearly excellent and comprehensive expertise. I am speaking about gentleness, compassion and time to explain options for wellness or treatment. I am speaking about same day appointments when my dogs were in distress. And I am speaking about kindness expressed by every staff member's warmth and caring from arrival to departure. In August of 2017 one of my two fifteen year old Bichons, Nickie, experienced a near death experience from kidney failure. My much loved prior vet, Dr. Grader, had moved out of town. So we saw Dr. Pia for the very first time. We immediately began to receive her utmost attention to detail with constant significant information about his condition and treatment recommendations. Nickie was under daytime hospital care for four days. I was there every day and then in and out for weeks afterward. Nickie is still being carefully monitored and won't live much longer. But his tail is wagging, he is again giving kisses and enjoying his life under her care. Dr. Pia always answered endless questions from me as I cried and sought guidance and reassurance. Her patience and generosity were always present. I felt totally confident at all times. The managers, Joanna and Linda, whom I had never met, listened and spoke to me frequently expressing their kindness and support. And Sarah, one of the receptionists, is indescribable in her caring for pets and owners alike. She hugged me more than once and compassionately listened as I cried all the time. How many individuals in this world would take a beloved pet to visit an owner in a rehabilitation center with no other family member to do so? Sarah did. How about the technician, Brett, who patiently sat on the floor to guide me in learning how to administer saline to Nickie at home. There is no way I can recommend, praise or thank the staff at Noah's Ark enough unless I share my experiences here with you.

Noah's ark was there for me. We caught the pneumonia early. If we didn't it could've quickly escalated into a life-threatening situation. In July of 1990 my family moved from New York to Connecticut. At that time we had the pleasure of…read moremeeting Dr Frederick Baff. Since we moved here in the summer of 1990 until the present day we have had 4 dogs and they've all been treated by the staff of Plumtree's Animal Hospital. during 2011 we started using Dr Baff son Dr. Wesley Baff. when you're with people that long you will eventually think of them as friends and some even as family members. Not only is the staff from the receptionist to the office manager Ann as well as all the technicians and doctors quite knowledgeable their bedside mannerisms are second to none. If the time comes that you need to say goodbye to your four-legged family member the emotional and physical support that everyone at Plumtree's gives to you is not mechanical but driven by thier love for thier patient. I was adopted by a pitbull in 2011 who had severe aggressions towards anyone within a veterinarian's office. I was blessed to have Dr Baff & staff who put the health of my new dog-hter Raynah above generalized fear of pitbulls and they came up with a treatment plan not only for Raynah and myself but for the safety of their other patients & thier tight-knit family of employees. Due to the fact of Raynah's aggression anytime she needed to be seen by Dr Baff he always scheduled her appointments either prior to the start of office hours after office hours at night. I am so glad that I have the ability to tell everyone about Dr Wesley Baff & the entire staff. going to them is like having a doctor in the family. they genuinely love their patients and the safety well-being and happiness of their patients is all that matters to them. In today's day in age people prefer money over compassion over doing what's right you will never find that the dollar bottom line is more important than your four-legged family member. even in the worst of times having to put down your family member they somehow find a way to get you through the worst day of your life. The Thursday before Mother's Day of 2016 my sweet baby girl Raynah needed to be put down. the final act of kindness that I could give and show her for everything that she did for me her unconditional love, her little idiosyncrasies that always made me laugh to the way she loved you like no other. I know that there are parts of a job that everybody hates and I'm sure it's no different with the staff Plumtree's. For them putting down one of their patients is gut-wrenching. I'm sure everyone can sympathize with me that putting her down was the worst thing ever. I have never seen so much compassion & so much in love any other that. I was not the only one that cried that day. what blew me away was how difficult it was I'm not only Dr Baff but his staff members too. If you are looking for a veterinarian that not only has knowledge of new technologies & techniques while one having a big heart one that is compassionate and one that will treat you like extended family you need to look no further then Dr Baff and his entire staff at Plumtree's Animal Hospital. this is one decision you will never question

Her passing was…read moreabsolutely heartbreaking for my family, and toward the end, I wanted to try anything and everything that might make her more comfortable. Dr. Dani Szajer went far above and beyond for us. She truly understands how hard it is to lose a pet. Every medication I asked to try, she prescribed (within reason). I am sure I was an emotional handful, but Dr. Dani and Selena were so patient and understanding. When I knew my dog had reached the end, I called at about 3:00 p.m., and they let us come in that same afternoon rather than making her spend her last moments at a strange emergency vet. When we arrived, three women were there to help take her in on a gurney. She was 115 lbs so that was no small task. They lit a candle in the main waiting room and in the exam room, and they put down a soft blanket for our dog and for us to lie on with her. Dr. Dani explained everything and gave us ample, unrushed time to say goodbye even though by then it was nearing closing time. It was all so peaceful and respectful of our beloved dog. And throughout the 10 years she was their patient, they were always professional and always very kind to us. I am so grateful for the way they helped us when my dog passed away. It was so incredibly painful, and their help meant so much to our healing to know that she died with us, in a peaceful place, surrounded by respect and care, with her wonderful life honored.

Finally vet came out to explain urine results and we agreed the cat should get an antibiotic injection. That was an hour ago and we have not heard or seen a soul about anything since. Sitting here 4 hours with one 3 minute talk with a vet. The most uncaring vet facility I have EVER been to. Truly unbelievable. Would never come back here.
