My dog would be alive right now had they told me about it. When I called to discuss it, they said well "He's an old guy." Leptospirosis is also zoonotic, meaning it can be transferred from animals to humans. Why on earth would you not tell people about that? This is an antiquated practice that has not kept up with advancements in the veterinary field- that ignorance and hubris of "I know everything", killed my dog today. My dog is 12, his breed can live until they are 16. He deserved the chance to live and would have had I gone somewhere else. Also, Carley, the assistant who answers the phone, is a prime example of how to train someone if you want to lose clients. Absolutely awful bedside manner and I should have taken that hint. No doctor worth his salt would have someone like that working at the front desk if he had a successful enough practice to hire someone capable.

She knows how much Prissy means to me and she goes above and beyond to help. She has saved Prissy's life on more than one occasion and even saved her from losing her right eyeball. She detected a corneal ulcer on a visit totally unrelated to her eyes. I cannot thank her enough. I would have been beside myself if Prissy lost her eye! Dr. Greco takes our concerns very seriously and never dismisses our concerns even when we are being completely paranoid and insane....which happens often. ;) I thank Dr. Greco for caring for Prissy as though she were her own dog and for calling us to make sure she's ok. I have never been to another vet who cared as much as she does and I've been to the fancy shmancy places. Frankly, they all stink in comparison. The staff at Wilton Animal Hospital are superb in every way. Especially Emily! They truly care and you can feel their sincerity. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their pet.

It was so scary and confusing for him to all of a sudden not be able to see and we were just devastated. Dr. Stuhr was recommended by my vet and we made the appointment right away. They were able to see us that same week and schedule the surgery. Thankfully, it was just in time, since his eye pressure in his right eye rose to a dangerous level the night before the surgery, and we almost lost his eye. Dr Stuhr was able to save it and remove the cataracts so our baby could see again! The whole process from start to finish was amazingly smooth and all the girls there are so warm, knowledgeable and efficient. They really made Theo feel comfortable and safe. DO NOT GO HERE! We…read morehave been going here for 3 years now and they know both of our dogs pretty well. They know our 9 year old mini American Eskimo has bad reactions to vaccines. They pushed the vaccines of us and didn't pre-care for our one that is sensitive. She had a severe reaction to the vaccine and has been pooping/puking up straight blood for hours. We took her to the hospital and they are keeping her overnight. The vets at the hospital said the vaccines are unnecessary for these 2 dogs because they don't go to dog daycare, but the Strawberry Hill animal hospital continues to push them. This place is a money grab and not only did we pay $600 for shots they didn't need, we now have to pay $2,000- 3,000 for an overnight visit. Never going to this place again, highway robbery and we might lose part of our family tonight.

It was 4 hours until he was seen and then it cost $1k for an xray, visit and medication. Thankfully he was ok. I'm happy with the care - it just took a long time because the ER prioritized higher danger emergencies.
