Both times we saw Dr. Morgan. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to us and making sure all of our questions were answered. He was very good with Rudy, who is by nature an anxious dog. The soft tissue sarcoma surgery was a complete success, with no recurrence of the cancer for 3+ years. We are still deciding how to proceed with the malignant melanoma. I highly recomment CUVS. So besides needing eye drops for glaucoma and a cataract she required Prednisone. Well we all see these commercials for wonder drugs ( the wonder is why we take them with all the side effects) so even though the Prednisone gave my girl relief it slowly started to effect other systems. Last week in what appeared to be overnight she slowly stopped eating but only drank. That was a red flag. Took her to an emergency facility which was a nightmare. Four hours sitting around waiting for some diagnosis. Every so often someone would come out and give some empty info. Finally a vet came out and provided me with a 3 page plan with an estimate that sent me to the cardiologist. This where Zen Dog comes in. Based on the diagnosis and the plan with no light at the end we felt the best most humane course of action was to euthanize. Spoke with Dr. Ray., he could not have been more understanding and compassionate. He showed up at the house took the time to explain the process. Once comfortable with what was going to happen he started. Dr Ray gave us time to be with her and comfort her until the end. It was a very tough thing to deal with but she went with family around in her home and peacefully. If anyone who reads this is at that point with their beloved pet, Zen Dog is in my opinion a great comforting option

The person I got handed off to was unexperienced, did not care about my pet, and did not care about my particular situation in moving. This caused a number of headaches during the move and the back and forth with the move consultant took more time than it would have taken me personally flying back and forth to ship my dog. Yes, that's right, I would have saved time and money by flying across the country and using a checked dog service than dealing with Worldcare Pet Transport. They charge an exorbitant amount for doing the bare minimum. Look elsewhere for pet transportation.
