Ordered food tonight for takeout and it's delicious. The restaurant was so friendly and the chicken kabobs and hummus are fantastic. Nice sized portions as well. As we are living in the time of COVID, I want to note that it's only outside dining and they took safety and distancing very seriously.

Finding a good Gyro is hard in my area, so when traveling I check for Greek restaurants that have them. Stopped in on a Saturday, and Stefanos was not busy. Ordering was fast as I knew what I wanted, a Gyro sandwich, and it promptly arrived. Gyro was decently sized with a different flavor to the meat as they use charcoal to get more flavor. I found the Tzatziki sauce to be too mild though. Selection of beverages is wide with various sodas, waters, and teas available, but they also have fountain drinks. This place is a 3.5, but what bumps them up to a four was the very attentive service. The lady at the counter was very good, even instructing me how to eat a Gyro as many people do not know. Overall, I'd return to try other items.

Kofta combination plate w/ half eaten cigars.

Food is very good. What's with the styrofoam plates and plastic forks? The owner is always looking for tips.

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

Parking is shared, and valet service is available for a small fee ($5). I believe it's a set price and the parties start/end at a certain time. The event I came to was a planned party with arranged seating. Alcohol was served, food was nice, and the desserts were plenty. I am not sure on the packages they offer for a planned party, but you can call to ask. I had a conversation with the owner who seemed very nice and hospitable. All the staff were very accommodating also. The food situation was a little odd. They bring out a buffet style self serve **first come, first serve**. Once they ran out of the homemade shawarma you're pretty much out of luck. FYI: Friday nights they have a live house DJ. Saturday nights they have a live singer.

Fixed price for appetizers and entree. This place is a bit pricier than similar nearby Beirut lounge, but the venue is larger and the experience offers a bit more, accordingly. I found the staff to be pretty on-the-ball and friendly. Large venue. Hookah is extra, as is pretty standard at these type of events. They do serve alcohol and you can order drinks at the bar if you choose. It's a bit of an odd setup, being so close to the hotel. I parked in the back, where the valet instructed me to (I opted not to do valet), but I did see people parking right in front of the place. Fun time though, and great overall experience, again, similar to Beirut, something hard to find even in NYC and surrounding areas. If you're looking for a uniquely Arab/Middle Eastern type of party, this is your place. Location is pretty convenient as well if you're coming from NY, as it's only a few miles from the Lincoln Tunnel and also pretty close to the GW Bridge (but closest to the Lincoln Tunnel)

We get seated, place our order, and roughly 40 minutes have gone by. We are wondering what is taking so long. I see a server walking towards us with what looks like the food we ordered. But he places the 2 plates of food on the table beside us, the table who came about 25-30 minutes after us. The couple at the table make a comment of whether they ordered that food, but the server still walks away. In the meantime, their children at that table immediately dig into the food left in front of them. A few minutes later, the server realizes his mistake and comes back trying to fix his mistake. Of course, at that point, we don't want food that's already been touched. The manager comes over, he asks us to wait again while they remake our food. At this point, we are being asked to wait over an hour for our food, the least they could've done is offered even the smallest discount, but they didn't. I understand we're all human and mistakes can happen. But after turning our experience into a disaster, the least they could've done is offered to comp even a part of our meal. They did not, we left very disappointed and mind you this was Mother's Day.
