Be careful there is a hidden 20% service charge. I was not informed about this fee anywhere before ordering it wasn't on the menu, not on signage, and no one mentioned it. It only showed up on the receipt after the order was placed. That's not transparency, that's misleading pricing. I don't mind paying for service, but customers should be told upfront. Adding a mandatory charge without disclosure is not okay. Check your bill before you pay.

Best Halal Food , Best Shawarma , Best Mixed Grill , best Hookah place , the owner is very friendly ! The stuff are helpful and friendly, the place is open 7 days a week from 10:00 AM to 4:00 AM They just updated outside site it looks nice and it's the best restaurant to spend time in this summer in Nez Jersey

Whole Chicken

Whole chicken with rice is the best. The fries are good too. Their chicken shawarma sandwich tastes good but too small/light.

Chicken shawarma with salad. Delish.

I ad an extremely tasty and large portion chicken shawarma with a mixed salad. The chicken was great. Crispy skin, flavorful, and moist. I would definitely go back next time I am in the area. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was that it seemed I had some difficulty understanding and being understood. Yet, it came out exactly as ordered. One picture is worth 1000 taste sensations!

What a great place for shawarmas. I just came back from Jordan and I was in the mood to eat shawarmas and let me tell you, Saj exceeded my expectations. Great price, great food, and very friendly staff. Def coming back.

Lamb Chops And Salad
Bianca T.

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. The customer service is good. The prices for the portions you receive are really good too. The lamb chops and salad I ordered came packed in the same plate. Usually when I order from restaurants the lamb chops and salad are in different plates so the salad doesn't get soggy. The lamb chops and salad were just okay. I was also disappointed the restaurant didn't have any dessert as a result I couldn't taste the baklava. However, the chicken shawarma sandwich is delicious. The sandwich is well seasoned and so are the fries. I like that the chicken inside the shawarma sandwich was cut into little pieces. This is definitely what you should order if it's your first time at this restaurant.

Family platter, lamb chops, and some veggie thing which was nice

Overall I'd give a 4.5/5 stars. The food was good, we ordered a family platter for $125. It filled 5 people's stomachs. The rice in the family platter wasn't that good, the chicken was indeed a little bit dry. The shawarma and others were nice so we're the lamb chops. The customer service was awesome, they were very understanding and helpful. The ambiance was a little off though, there were flies and dead flies and a couple of mosquitoes. The forks and knives were a little bit stained but it was fine.

Chicken Pasta with Chicken

Excellent food! Extremely tasty and flavorful. First time ordering from here. Did not expect the food to look so pretty! The pasta was delicious as much as the chicken was.

We shared a lentil soup that was good, though it could have used a squeeze of lemon or something similar to brighten the flavor. The falafel sandwich was delicious, packed with fresh pickles and paired perfectly with a side of baba ghanoush. The chicken shawarma sandwich was also tasty, though it didn't include the same pickles as the falafel. Overall, this was a delicious and authentic spot that I'd definitely visit again if I were in the area.

We got the jebneh, the lentil soup, and the falafel platter with french fries and salad. We started with the jebneh which is basically white pizza. It was pretty mid. I thought the lentil soup would be puréed but it wasn't and it had a ton of onions which I don't particularly care for. This is however a personal preference and not part of why I am giving two stats. The falafel was cooked well but not seasoned well and lacked flavor. The dipping sauce was watery, and could have also offered more flavor. My boyfriend and I went to finish the jebneh and I found a hair in it. Not mine and not my boyfriend's. I called Manouche to let them know and they offered to remake it but honestly the food overall really upset my stomach. My boyfriend also had a stomach ache after the food. The manager who I spoke to about the food was pretty unsympathetic and said she'd double check their processes and that hair was highly unusual. I just didn't love the customer service. Overall, the food even without the hair was mediocre. My boyfriend said the best thing was the root beer he got from there. I don't think we will be going back any time soon.

Food was delicious, you could tell it was made to order and meat and chicken were very juicy. The hookah server was very attentive and came to check on it regularly. After we paid and were ready to leave Lulu asked us to stay for dessert on the house, that was very nice of her and we really enjoyed the dessert as well. If you are in the area it is a must try. We get seated, place our order, and roughly 40 minutes have gone by. We are wondering what is taking so long. I see a server walking towards us with what looks like the food we ordered. But he places the 2 plates of food on the table beside us, the table who came about 25-30 minutes after us. The couple at the table make a comment of whether they ordered that food, but the server still walks away. In the meantime, their children at that table immediately dig into the food left in front of them. A few minutes later, the server realizes his mistake and comes back trying to fix his mistake. Of course, at that point, we don't want food that's already been touched. The manager comes over, he asks us to wait again while they remake our food. At this point, we are being asked to wait over an hour for our food, the least they could've done is offered even the smallest discount, but they didn't. I understand we're all human and mistakes can happen. But after turning our experience into a disaster, the least they could've done is offered to comp even a part of our meal. They did not, we left very disappointed and mind you this was Mother's Day.

I went last night after a concert at the MetLife stadium near by. Once we were seated they brought out plates for the table and every one of the four plates given to us had charcoal dust on them, which isn't alarming at an establishment that serves hookah. We asked the waitress LAMIA if she can change the plates, Immediately she caught an attitude. She was adamant they weren't dirty but went to get us new plates as requested. The great thing about outside seating at this establishment is that the windows are wide open so you can see inside. We watched as LAMIA walked over to her coworkers to complain, stomp her foot and have an attitude driven tantrum while she filled them in on our request for new plates. For the rest of dinner we were greeted with the rudest attitude and treatment of distain from this server. She didn't want to speak with us. She didn't want to serve us. Thank you for runing our night LAMIA. She even brought the check over while we were mid eating our dinner, put it on the table and walked away without a word. Rushing us out without even acknowledgement. Paying $200 for a meal with that sort of treatment makes for an interesting end to our evening. We were raised with manners so we continued to be polite and thank her each time she dropped off an item. Makes me question if our food was tampered with because we even found a piece of hair in our meal. We all have long jet black hair down our backs so this hair definitely was not ours. But didn't feel comfortable to speak up due to the treatment we were already receiving. The service industry is for those who enjoy curating a space of fun and enjoyment for consumers. I would think twice about going to this establishment if you're looking for a good time.

Rather than immediately posting a public review, I contacted management privately because I believed they deserved the opportunity to address the situation professionaly. Their initial response was that they would review the incident internally. After I followed up, they specifically offered to send me a complete ingredient list for everything we ordered so I could review it with my healthcare provider. I accepted that offer but, the ingredient list was never sent. Months later, there has still been no meaningful follow-up. My frustration isn't about demanding compensation or proving what caused the reaction. It's about customer care and accountability. Making promises that are never fulfilled leaves the impression that guest concerns only matter until the bill is paid. Once our $471 tab was settled, the commitment to help simply disappeared. The food and atmosphere may attract people, but how a restaurant responds when something goes wrong is what defines its hospitality. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the follow-through did not match the promises made, and I can't recommend a restaurant that handled a serious guest safety concern this way. Its NYC, 1000s of restaurants will charge less serve higher quality ingredients and treat you with greater hospitality, and this place is located in midtown east.
