Fast-forward to 2024. He came out to look at my wife's Audi, which had a small leak which we noticed when we would get a car wash. He walked me through the options, and we eventually decided do hold off on doing any major work. A repair service who advises you when you *don't* need to do something right away is really the most trustworthy kind of advisor. A little long and a little expensive I thought, but I believe it's better to be cheated in price than quality and they had good reviews so I figured I'd chance it. Also, just to add, I had washed and vacuumed the car the weekend before so it really wasn't that dirty, just some dog hair and other details that I didn't want to have to deal with myself. When my car was ready I came to pick it up and was not happy at all. As i started looking at the car I could spot multiple places that were missed as well as some places that were actually DIRTIER than when I dropped it off... One of the detailers noticed me checking the fuel tank cover interior which was still filthy and told me, "See the scratches in the dirt, we tried to clean it but couldn't get it all off." Low and behold, the owner also noticed and it took him all of one minute to fully clean it off. They also missed the lower door jams, both cup holders still had sticky residue still in them, and there was a large black spot I'm assuming from car oil from the shop on the left side of the driver's seat, in addition to other discrepancies. All in all, I feel like they spent about 1 hour on my car even though it was there for about 7. When I tried to talk to Ron about the lack of attention to detail (ironic when talking about a car detail...) he definitely left something to desire in the customer service department. After giving me many excused including that he "doesn't usually do that much work to other cars", Ron asked me what I do for a living as if I didn't know what I was talking about...why he asked that I'm not sure but it's definitely not a professional move. Sorry Ron, not a good job, wish it had gone differently.

But rather than spending $255 on a full complete detail she went looking around for a detail shop. She drove by this place on the way to work and decided to call Ron for a interior cleaning of her messy interior. I dropped off the car with Ron the night before her scheduled appointment and he looked at the car and said that the car was in pretty good condition and recommended that a hand wash and wax might be a good idea for an extra $25. The GF agreed and had that option added to her bill. We came back the following night to pick up the car. Because we were busy with other activities we asked Ron if he could leave the car outside and we would pick it up. He agreed to it. We got to the car and inspected the work. The car was very clean, the interior was like brand new. Apparently a few years ago there was a stain on the seat that my GF thought would never go away but they shampooed and cleaned the seats and the carpets. The interior was very clean. While the outside was clean there are some impurities that were on the car. Of course this was just a hand wash and wax so I wonder what it would the car feel like had she paid higher for a full exterior that likely include a clay bar or something. Building looks run down from the outside, but the service was pretty good. I might bring my car there since my GF was satisfied with the work.
