This is my third experience with them and I wouldn't have used them, but I could have the body repairs started two days later. 6 weeks and dozens of calls were met with excuses. They finally called and indicated that I could retrieve my car...however, a mirror trim was on order from Germany. It would be in stock in 3-5 weeks. After 2 months, they had no record of the part. I asked for a remedy, pay for the part from a dealer, they refused. Manager was rude and would not budge. Reported this to my insurance company and was informed that there were numerous complaints. I had an appointment at 9am. I showed up on time for an estimate and since estimates are fairly quick appointment, I thought 30 minutes would be enough time to get me out the door. My mom has taken her car to Fix Auto Gresham for body repairs twice in the last couple of years. My husband took his truck there too. The staff here is very kind and responsive. Their prices are very fair. She found them to be less expensive than the competitor she got quotes from. The staff has done an excellent job working with her insurance company and letting her know when parts are delayed due to Covid shipping situations that we're all experiencing right now. They do great work and we really appreciate the folks at Fix Auto Gresham. If your car needs bodywork this is the place to go. read more

Don't go here. Took almost a month. Several years later my front body parts are ready to fall off. I finally noticed the rear seat wasn't secured - at all - at the top. It's just hanging free. Plus shop dust that wasn't cleaned off. I will probably have to fix it myself because there's no way I'm leaving my car with them for even a day. I already have another shop lined up to fix the front end, and it's not going to be cheap. read more

I back in to my neighbors car and opted to pay it out of pocket rather sending to my insurance. I agreed to the estimate with the understanding that there maybe hidden repairs. After the car was finished the Neighbor said fixx it was adding 26% more to the bill. I went to fixx it to get answers to why so much more and they gave me the list of other add ons. The majority of add ons were exterior items that a professional or experienced estimator would include but since I was paying out of pocket they left off to get the business. Very shady and unprofessional to take advantage of customers. I would not recommend them at all. Shame shame shame I'd give them a negative star if I could!!! read more

Outstanding communication, over and above call of duty customer service, prompt work. Was given a 9am appointment for the morning after I called. I showed up a little after 8 and they didnt make me wait. They called Enterprise because I was early, and they also showed up in minutes. I was out of there in less than 30 minutes. The work was complete the same week, very prompt. There is a long back story to explain how awesome this shop was to us. The collision was months ago. The heat exchanger had started leaking coolant, and we thought it was related to the collision. That ended up not being the case, but since the front of the car was being pulled off, we asked them to go ahead and change it out at our expense. They quoted us an optional price using a salvaged part, far less expensive than OEM, and I was OK with that. When we picked up the car, I saw that they had installed a new OEM heat exchanger, but at the lower price. Turns out no salvage units were available, nor aftermarket units, so they installed a new OEM part at the original salvage part price, honoring their original quote. Wow! Two days after we picked it up, the coolant level dropped and the car overheated. I called the shop, anticipating having to argue a little that something had gone wrong during reassembly. What actually happened was a no questions asked discussion where they agreed to immediately bring the car in, and they ended up towing it all the way from Ridgefield. They found that the radiator was also leaking. The follow up work was done in 24 hours, they rushed the job concurrent with their other projects. There was no paperwork and no money exchanged, they just retrieved the car and fixed it immediately with zero hassle. Remember, the leaking heat exchanger and leaking radiator were NOT part of the collision repair job. We paid for the heat exchanger job below market value, and then paid nothing for the radiator job nor the tow bill even though in all honesty the radiator thing ended up not really being their fault! The shop was super communicative throughout the ordeal. Our entire experience flies in the face of the conventional wisdom of body shop hassles, delays, oversells, and the like. this is now called crash collision. The adjuster Givmark Berinde harassed my 22 yr old daughter to complete a review. she received about 5-10 texts and emails to do a review. Gigel told her it needed to be all 10's or he would need to take the car back. No car can be taken back after if it was paid for by the insurance. I wish she would have told me but failed to let me know about the harassment until after the fact. she completed the review and gave all 10's and two 8's. The 8's were for terrible customer service with the employees that answer the phone and work the front counter. They were super rude and made fun of her accident. my daughter was too nice. the reviews should have been way worse! I'm letting everyone I know to not get their vehicle serviced here. Anyone that would make fun of someone 's accident and harass someone to give all 10's in a review are not professional! Laughing over something this serious as a car accident , these people need a life. hopefully one of their children isn't in a bad accident one day. I don't believe they would appreciate someone laughing at their child's expense. when they used to be called fix auto they were top notch. not anymore. ugh read more

Claims estimator underbid the other 2 estimates by almost 300$, and the estimator would not agree to use NEW parts as a part of my auto body repair, and argued with me because he said he "works with USAA" and "my car is more than 2 years old, so USAA won't approve new car parts"..in other words, he found the cheapest parts to use as repair, even though the accident was at no fault of my own and I requested NEW parts! I think I deserve to have whatever parts used for the repair of my car that I ask for, isn't that what insurance is supposed to be for? What a joke this place is. read more

My son had an "altercation" with a misplaced dumpster at Chinook winds in Lincoln city. My insurance is Geico, it was recommended to go here. I had had a previous experience with this shop 2 yrs ago and it was wonderful,, This time , horrible. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday, I was told verbally and in writing that my car would be done Friday afternoon. When I dropped my car off, I was missing my distance prescription glasses, I called to ask them if they could check and see if the were in my car (I drove home with my sunglasses that were prescription), During the week I spoke with 3 people regarding this, including the Geico rep Dave. No one found them. I had to take my 81 yr old mother shopping and for an eye care appt for her and I (I got another pair of glasses) on Friday, so since I was in the area, I live in Welches, so this a 38 mile trip for me. I went into the office and asked yet again if they found my glasses, no they had not was stated, then I asked to see my car and if it was ready, no it was not ready but would be by the end of the day, I told them that was not possible , I could not wait around nor could I drive back after going home for the day. I went to my car and opened the door, my glasses were sitting on the passenger's seat, in clear view. I was pissed, I said to the mechanic "Why didn't anyone check for me? They are right here" He stated look for them they are right there". He muttered something nasty and rolled his eyes at me. I believe his name was "Ryan". They called later and told me my car was ready to be picked up at 5:30. Too late for me to drive back, which takes 45 mins to an hour, On Monday I called the manager "Lori" , I told her what happened , she said"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened" , I asked her if she was going to find out? , she stated "I guess so" , I asked "what do you mean you guess so"," well I wasn't there" she stated. I then stated "are you calling me a liar"? She again said "I'm sorry" Her tone was dismissive and condescending. I took offence at this, I told her "I will be posting this on social media" she then got angry and accused me of "slander". I told her "it ain't slander if it's true" . Then I spoke with the Geico rep regarding what happened to me, he stated that he had asked the office to look for my glasses himself and remembers me calling and our conversation. He stated "he was sorry" I told him that I would be there at 12 to get my car, and that it needs to be ready and in front and my paperwork in order because I was traveling with my 81 yr old mother who had a DR's appointment in Lake O for a biopsy. When we arrived at 12 on the dot, the car was not in front nor was it ready, Oh! they were ready to take my money and to sign paperwork so that my insurance could get paid, just my car was not ready. It has been very hot here, 98 on the day this happened, My mother and I had to get out of the rental so it could be checked in and stand in the hot sun for 10-15 minutes waiting for my car and then we waited longer because the car had white stuff all over my seat , the dash, the floors, the steering wheel and spray off on the back of my car and inside the hatch. The new back window was full of finger prints as well. I was angry , this was told to me by phone and email, that my car was ready on the Friday prior to this, so when Mr Wonderful , the same guy that was snarky to me on the previous Friday was cleaning my car as I was pointing out everything they left on it, I asked "why wasn't my car ready"? He got nasty and said "Look lady You were supposed to pick up this at 2:30 , you are early" Then he slams my hatch down, the I lost it "I said "listen you little prick I called your manager and the Geico rep at 9:30 am and told them when I would be there, and this car was supposed to be ready on Friday, you little prick" Then he tells me not to swear at him and that I need to get off his property or he will call the police. I am a 57 yr old woman with a ill 81 yr old mother (she heard and saw all of this) I don't even have a history of a speeding ticket let alone anything else, and we are the injured party in this and being treated like garbage by people that I just paid 500 to not to mention what my insurance paid. I will NEVER recommend this place nor will I ever go here again, and at this time after six years with Geico (I'm all ready paid up until Feb 2019) I am shopping for another insurance company. I took my car here after a minor traffic collision because it is a preferred shop with my insurance company. The adjuster quoted $1500.00 to repair the damage. The guy hands me back my phone after looking at the quote and says "we're booked up till June." I find that hard to believe. He just didn't want to take on a relatively small job. It is a really poor way to treat a customer. It might not be a big deal to them, but a $500.00 deductible and being without my car is a big deal to me. read more

After I picked up my car, I noticed that an area away from where the repair was made had some black rubber that had faded and was now back to its like new condition. My Honda Pilot was hit by another car while it was parked and I had to take it to a shop. I had no idea who to take it to, so I contacted a friend who does a lot of work on his own cars. He recommended only one place...FIX Auto. For due diligence, I got quotes from FIX and a couple of other shops and they were about the same in price. I ended up going with my friend's recommendation and was extremely satisfied. William was my liaison at FIX and he kept me up-to-date on what was going on (he sent pictures of the progress, communicated with the insurance company, and worked with the mechanics). He was very responsive to all my questions and concerns and got back with me in a timely manner. All the employees introduced themselves when I went into the shop and they assured me I would be taken care of (and I was). I don't typically write reviews, but FIX Auto was worth writing about. read more

This place is slow, dishonest, refuses to accept rework, will not acknowledge problems or mistakes and generally speaking is somewher e NO one should take their car. Mine was 3 weeks in the shop from a fairly severe rear end (frame damage) & I naively accepted GEICO's "recommended body shop" These guys had it so long because they pulled out the frame but obviously not very well because they couldnt get parts (the bumper) to fit for almost a week. Ok, I dedcided not much I can do about the frame damage but go after DV.. But when I got the car back, the alignments off and the car makes a sound like a bullet going off on the right side intermittently when I hit bumps. My car was/is two years old, a Honda, second owner and NEVER had problems. Now I took it back to them- well had my wife take it to them to ask them to investigate. They were extremely rude to her and after making her wait a half hour for a scheduled appointment, had a mechanic drive it around the block and say "nothing wrong with it. Sure you ain't hitting potholes? Portland had a bad winter and people damage their cars and want to blame the last autobody repair place all the time." So first he says nothings wrong, but then, even if it is it cant be us. I am now having it stripped down by a reputable body shop so I can go after this place and GEICO. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Went in for a quote and saw Joe Smith. From the get go, he was rather rude. He and another person were just sitting behind computer monitors while the lobby filled up... perhaps he was upset he was having to get up? Since I didn't have the insurance quote with me, he seemed to get upset by it and started telling me how the insurance wouldn't pay any more money. I told him that the insurance would pay the necessary amount to get the car fixed right and he responded by telling me not to tell him how to do his job. He soon said that if I didn't show him the insurance quote he couldn't help me and walked away. Very disappointed at this place, so will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I went in for an estimate and the gentlemen who performed it highballed it so severely that it was a joke. I have auto body repair experience I learned in trade school in the navy and when I mentioned how simple the right rear quarter panel would be to fix (by hand for the majority of it) the guy was like, "oh no way that can be done easily, it will cost 3 thousand just for that part of the fix". What a douche. Then he commenced to tell how there may be "hidden damage" and that it will be quite a bit of money to have it checked and fixed. I wouldn't have my vehicle left there for any amount of time unless I was there to observe every aspect of what they might try and do. Basically a set up to charge as much as possible. Highly untrustworthy operation. The only folks who should get their vehicle fixed here would be people who are having the other person's insurance company pay for the work. read more

One of the WORST experiences of my life! Our car only a week old when rear ended, and Fix was recommended by the dealership. We brought the car in on a Tuesday and was told that Enterprise would have a comparable vehicle ready for us there (not even close). The car was not there, I waited for 10 minutes to get a ride to enterprise, and I waited there for another 20 minutes before getting a vehicle. On Thursday my boyfriend received a call saying that my car would be ready on Friday. Then on Friday they called and said they ordered the wrong parts! My boyfriend went to pick it up the following Tuesday, they painted the bumper the WRONG color (easy to look up the correct factory paint), and were going to let him drive away with the tow hitch cover unsecured (no screws holding it in and they knew it). He was so upset he didn't sign anything and took the car. After contacting the insurance company they talked us into brining it back to Fix to make good on the repair. Once again, they painted it the wrong color, and ordered a wrong part! Two times...really?? The color is closer than the first time, but if they would have used the actual factory color it would have matched perfectly. We called the dealership and told them to never refer to Fix again, and that it was a terrible experience. They said that they had been unhappy with their work, and had not used them for a few months. The salesman that told us to go there did not know they were no longer using them. read more

I dropped off my Ford Mustang on Dec 13, they kept me posted using an app that tells you just what they are doing every step of the way. They fixed the driver door and repainted it. It was ready on Dec 14 at 5 PM. Work was super and the communication was great. 5 stars! read more

If you need your car repaired. take it anywhere but here. I went to get a estimate done for my car. The estimate seemed a little low but I was like OK. Let get the repairs done. I didn't hear back from the insurance company or the shop for a few weeks. I called Fix Auto Gresham to get an update on when I could get my car fixed. This guy started to explain about repairs he could fix and repair he couldn't fix. I explained to him that was fine I just want you to fix what you put on the estimate. This guy then turns around and says he doesn't want to work on my car at all. I asked him why and he could not give me an answer. So the only conclusion I can come up with is that this is a racist shop. Also he states that he thought I was going to take the check even though I never mention about taking any cash from the insurance company. I just wanted my car fixed. so he writes a estimate but doesn't want to do the work. It seem a little weird to me. read more

When my 2011 Outback was damaged in a grocery store parking lot incident this past December, I was referred to Fix by the insurance company retained by the fellow who side-swiped my vehicle. My experience with the men and women at Fix was highly positive, from my initial contact through to the final repair and presentation of a gleaming, very clean (they even dusted and vacuumed the interior) car. I record this positive ranking even though it took Fix four months to repair my car rather than the one month originally estimated when I visited them in mid-December; the reason had nothing to do with Fix's quality or performance, however, but with the truly hard winter of 2016-2017: I am sure all residents remember the repeated heavy snowfalls and intermittent ice storms that made commutes extremely hazardous (and which resulted in many extraordinarily damaging wrecks). Fix's lot rapidly filled with cars so badly damaged that they had to be towed in at the direction of insurance companies, and leaving them literally no room for persons like myself whose vehicles suffered cosmetic damage. They apologetically explained the reasons for the long delay, kept me updated on when I could be rescheduled, and actually got me in a month before they had thought likely. I highly recommend this company, as all of their employees I encountered gave evidence of being part of a cooperative and supportive enterprise. read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My elderly mom was told to take her car here from the insurance company. She obviously was concerned about her car and would try checking in with them (it took 4 weeks). They were rude to her and told her "they would call her every couple of days." They did not call so she would call them. Each time they treated her poorly and said they would call her. I finally called and they refused to talk to me, saying they would only talk to my mom, until I pointed out that my name was on the title. They were short with me and seemed irritated that I was bothering them. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of them and the information I did get was vague. I told them to call me not my mom, and never received a phone call from them. I finally called on the day they said it might be done. The estimator refused to come to the phone, only relaying that the car wasn't done. My mom finally received a call four days later that her car was done. Not only do they have poor manners and customer service, they had the car about twice as long as they needed to with no explanation offered, even when asked. I will not use them again and would not recommend them. read more
