The second order of calamari wasn't much better but we were too tired and hungry at that point to complain. Also ordered the salmon as the main course. and it too was dry and overcooked. Whoever the chef was on that night clearly didn't know what he was doing. It was meal worthy of Perkins and not what I would have expected at those prices. The two of us left $140 lighter and feeling completely ripped off. We definitely won't be going back.

Shame on them for closing!) It's not a fancy place, with cement floors, but they have art for sale on the walls, which brightens the place up a bit. It's located in an industrial park just off Clyde. So their signage says "home of the bulgogi hoagie." I love beef bulgogi, so I went in with the intentions of getting that, but I discovered that the meat is marinaded not only in sesame oil (which I can eat), but also in sesame seeds (which I can't eat), so I could not experience their bulgogi hoagie :( and had to order something else. I settled on the fish tacos ($8) with a side garden salad (the menu said $4, but I was charged $4.25, and I wasn't going to quibble over a quarter, lol). I got 2 tacos and they were 2 large pieces of pan-fried white fish on top of iceberg lettuce and diced tomatoes in a soft flour tortilla. I liked that the sour cream and salsa automatically came on the side because I hate it when places drench food in sour cream and sauces. The tacos were fine, but they lacked oomph. The fish was seasoned and wasn't bland, but there just wasn't any flavourful kick to it. As the expression goes, they weren't anything to write home about. I did appreciate that the fish wasn't oily/greasy though. So anyone who knows me knows that I look upon iceberg lettuce with great disdain. I feel that iceberg lettuce is a cheapy filler lettuce, and I much prefer a real spring/mesclun mix, or arugula, kale and/or spinach. I would even begrudgingly settle for romaine lettuce. So I was really disappointed that the salad that I received was mostly iceberg lettuce (3 simultaneous sad faces!). It did have some cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled beets, and green onions as well, and the vegetables were fresh, but I was still disappointed. I was trying to be healthy, but I should have just gotten the fries, haha. Service was very friendly and efficient. Decor is typical diner. They serve all day breakfast, and with a name like Miss Molly's Breakfast Club, I guess their specialty after the bulgogi hoagie is breakfast. I'd like to return and try their Eggs Benedict. Hopefully I'll be able to bump up my rating by a star or two. They have their own private parking lot with lots of parking spots.

It's the only vegetarian sandwich on the menu. It's topped with avocado, tomato, gouda, roasted red pepper, lettuce and maple balsamic mayo. Him being a meat eater, he got the "Sean Evans" which was topped with fried chicken in hot sauce, chips, caramelized onions, dill mayo, and chili pepper cream cheese. I must say, I was kinda jealous. We also split a slaw. It was good, but nothing to write home about. They are also known for their cookie dough, which I will have to try next time. I will go back for a sandwich instead next time. So I had the "Schrute" Salad $8.65, and I added grilled chicken to it for an additional $2.50. I made it a "lunchbox" for an additional $3.25, which gave me a snack, cookie dough and a can of pop. So my whole meal was $16.25. The "Schrute" Salad was baby arugula, pickled beets, raisins, candied pecans and goat cheese. The added chicken was sliced real chicken breast. I got a balsamic dressing on the side. The ingredients were fresh and the portion of chicken was good. I just felt that this was a salad I could have put together myself in my kitchen very easily. When I eat out, I like to have something that I can't make myself easily. The salad was good, but I didn't feel that it was anything special. I chose the Creamy Dill Potato Salad. I usually don't like potato salad, but given all the reviews raved about it, I tried it. I have to say, I did like it very much. I loved that it had bacon in it. Everything tastes better with bacon! There was also cheese. It was creamy, but not overly so and tasted garlicky and dilly, haha. The portion looks huge in my picture, but it is not that large. The container is a larger Solo container, so it's a little bit bigger than the container that my salad dressing was in. For my cookie dough, I chose the "Sharon, Lois and Graham" which was cookie dough with lime cream cheese, shredded coconut and graham cracker crumbs. It was pretty good. It tasted like raw cookie dough and key lime pie. The cookie dough comes in a standard Solo container (you know, the size container that you get soy sauce in when you get sushi takeout - well, when they don't give you packets of soy sauce that is. It's the same size container that my salad dressing came in). I really love the whole "school theme" of the place. The menu is called the "Course Syllabus." Menu items have names like "Substitute Teacher," "Class Clown" and "P.A. Day." On their webpage you can click on "Report Card" and provide feedback. I think this is all very fun and creative. Lunchbox is where Bun Republic used to be. It's a really small space. There are a few tables to sit at and eat, but it's mostly a takeout place. The place is super cute. There's free parking in the back. I feel this place is really cool. I was just not really wowed by my salad. I will try a sandwich next time (which seems to be the more popular choice anyway) and write an update then.
