This didn't mean that Dr. Beers wasn't completely thorough throughout the entire exam. Dr. Beers was very descriptive, which was quite helpful. She never rushed me; she always took her time to graciously answer all my questions and actually listened to my concerns. They were incredibly detail-oriented and friendly in their caring. She asked questions about my dominant eye, which I have never been asked before, and she explained to me in detail why this was important! Financial difficulties were taken care of in a professional, compassionate way. Dr. Beers worked with me to come up with a solution that suited my budget and didn't compromise on the quality of treatment. From the moment I walked with my son we were greeted warmly. Kamila, the young lady at the front showed me the frames that were covered under our insurance. She also did our pre-test intake. She was extremely KIND and PATIENT as it took my son a couple of tries to get through this process. We were then seen by Doctor Romain. She was very KIND and took the time to ask us questions about our vision to see if we had any changes or concerns since our last visit. Dr. Romain was very PERSONABLE and I really appreciated her approach to our examinations. Not only was she was very thorough, but she also explained what she was doing and I did not feel rushed at all.. After our exams we were taken to Nyasia. She was WARM, WELCOMING and extremely HELPFUL to us, both in finding frames and giving us feedback on what looked good on our faces. In addition, Nyasia was PATIENT!!! She took the time to listen to all my concerns and then to see what the best options were for the add-ons that would be best suitable for us. I left this store feeling great about the money I spent and confident that our needs had been met. We will no longer be traveling back to Brooklyn for our yearly eye exams and glasses. This is now my family's eye care destination! The customer service we received at this store was EXCELLENT! Every employee we interacted with was kind and friendly. He takes the time to get to know his patients, gives thorough eye exams, and gives excellent medical advice when it comes to your eyes. When I was in there today, I had to bring my 4 year old daughter because I had noone to watch her. I gotta say, the guy is great with kids, he was even changing the eye chart on the screen to different shapes and having her read them to him. His staff is excellent as well, they do everything from help you choose frames, answer questions about insurance and prices of contacts, and will give you advice from their previous experiences with any surgeries they may have had. Six months ago I had lasik eye surgery at the reccomendation of Dr. Rubin and I must say it was one of the best things I have ever done. My eyesight is now 20/20 and I have no need for contacts or glasses anymore. He recommended I see Dr. Donnenfeld at TLC laser center, and what a good recommendation it was. Dr. Donnenfeld was great and the surgery turned out even better. Your eyes are one of your most important body parts so when it comes to them you want to make sure you have the right people checking them and caring for them. I recommend Dr. Rubin for his excellent care, great personality, and excellent advice.
