Getting appointments was always easy and all staff were always friendly. I am very happy with all the results. Two of my children were challenging because of an underbite and a small mouth, it took extra time and care but in the end the plan that the Dr. outlined for them in the beginning worked out beautifully. I couldn't be more happy with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Katsis.

I was able to easily schedule an appointment for my initial consultation and each following monthly visit. I understand that Saturday appointments can be hard to get anywhere, but during the summer it was no problem! After my consultation, it was determined we would try a retainer first to see if that would align my teeth to my liking. If not, we would move forward with braces again. Each visit the staff was friendly and attentive! I nerve waited long for my appointment. With the Drs' skills, I got the results I was looking for with a retainer and only 4 months of treatments! They have asked that I follow up with them in a few months to ensure my teeth are still to my liking. I appreciated working with the Katsis group and I would recommend Drs Katsis and John to anyone.

If you start researching tongue ties chances are you'll come across Dr. Geivelis because he's…read moreextremely well known in the "tongue tie" field. I didn't realize my kids had them as babies so he took care of 2 out of 3 of them when they were older (11 and 7 years olds). He referred my middle to an ENT by the name of Dr. Walner since he needed his adenoids out at the same time. Dr. Geivelis is so well known for this that there's an extremely large waitlist, especially if you want to get it done with anesthesia, which I personally think is a must for anyone who isn't a baby. It took about 8 months to get in from initial appointment for the actual procedure. Lori from Dr. G's office does a great job of keeping you informed along the way with everything from billing, preparing for surgery, meds to take after, etc. I think it's way easier for babies, but this is quite the ordeal if you have the procedure as an older child or an adult. First we spent months in myofunctional speech therapy to prepare for the procedure. The procedure day is far from fun, but I think mostly because my kids woke up really upset from the anesthesia. From there it's a few days of discomfort and after 3 days they are feeling back to normal. However, you're required to do a series of stretches so that the lip/tongue doesn't reattached at least 4 times a day. The kids get used to them after a few days, but my husband and I found them to be a huge pain...especially in the middle of the school day. The main reason we went ahead with the procedure was because all 3 of my kids are/were in speech therapy. I did see a difference right away in my middle son who went to Dr. Walner (we found that recovery to be way easier too). He was actually released from years of speech therapy the very next week. I haven't noticed as much of a difference with my daughter who had the procedure done over a year ago with Dr. G. And my youngest is who I was hoping to notice the biggest difference. He's also in the middle of years of expansion with Dr. Boyd, who Dr. G tends to work very closely with. It's been a few months since the procedure and we can definitely tell a difference (as can his speech therapists- both private and thru school) since he's able to produce clearer sounds now that he has more movement of his tongue. Overall, I"m glad we did it and found Dr. G to be warm and informative. If going the pediatric dentist route (over an ENT) I would definitely recommend him.

My 12-day old son saw Dr. Geivelis for tongue and mouth tie releases. From the moment you inquire…read moreabout scheduling, you are provided with ample information to prepare you and proves that they take the procedure and its success seriously. As a first-time mom, I did not feel worried about the procedure after meeting Dr. and his staff. From the office staff to his assistant, Sheri, everyone has been helpful and honest. My son is now more relaxed and can latch for breastfeeding! Only tears of joy when I think about the gratitude we have for this establishment. Thank you does not suffice.

Gentle is FARRRR from how I would describe our experience at this clinic. The doctor has no bedside…read moremanner and is quick to blame the child (yes, a child) and the parent and quick to offer anesthesia in the hospital as an option. Had a close friend who is a dentist, look at my sons scans, and basically laughed at the idea that they are so quick to rush to the most expensive option. I think this doctor should work on adults. She is not quipped to work with children and I get it, who wants to deal with kids, but even as an adult the dentist can be a scary place and this doctor and her staff have completely traumatized my poor child. Needless to say we'll be switching to another pediatric dentist, one that perhaps enjoys working with children and doesn't resort to telling a child they are a "bad kid" and "disturbing other kids who are good". I was reluctant to make this post because I was made to feel at the office that it was only my child who has ever behaved this way but after reading some of the other reviews. I know it's not me or my kid, it's definitely this practice and their lack of preparation when it comes to working on children, their lack of empathy, and their lack of a competent staff.

Since she is high anxiety they brought her to the back room and had to strap her down and hold her down! Dr. Blau was just horrible telling her to stop and just treating her like crap as if she isn't freaking out enough! I'm asking her why my daughter's eyes have red dots around them she was quick to ignore me finally I told them to stop I unstrapped my kid and pretty much ran like he'll to get into the wsiting room and notice my kids face and neck with marks! When I called the office back asking for her medical records from that day they refused to give me them and when I explained to the dental assistant what was going on she told me not to send my child to school or have her wear a high turtle neck! The Dr. Couldn't or wouldn't even talk to me!!! This place is absolutely horrible NEVER WILL I RETURN NOR REFER ANYONE HERE EVER! EVERYONE WORKING THERE IS JUST CRAPPY!
