I was warmly greeted by a young lady with elf ears who made a perfect cortado and then I headed upstairs where i was able to work undisturbed for a few hours. Other than coming back down for a refillable mug of their light roads, I cranked out emails and did some Zoom calls without any trouble at all. The service from the elf ear lady and from a man with a killer moustache who might be the owner or the manager was friendly and engaging and welcome. This is in a beautiful building in downtown Ste Genevieve. When you walk in, you're greeted by multiple employees eager to help, a beautiful dining area and cute menu with a baked goods counter. A lot of the small shops in the area serve traditional drip coffee from a coffee pot, but we like our fancy stuff, so were so happy to stumble upon this spot. It's the only one we could find! They had some quiche that looked bomb and some other food, but we were in just for drinks. They dropped their seasonal today, an apple crisp flavor, and it was SO BEAUTIFUL. I had the matcha which was super unique and flavorful. Last time I ordered the following: Organic Turmeric Ginger Green Tea. It helps with inflammation. Excellent flavor. I make it be the gallon and drink a cup or two each day. It works. In the past I've ordered the Peach Ginger Tea which has been equally as good. There's also a catalog that comes out periodically that contains a free sample of some kind of tea.
