However, after ordering an exhaust nothing went smoothly. They sent me the exhaust with parts missing (which was noted after install). When communicating with the advisor (Durwin), he would go weeks without an update, blaming it on one party or another. After over a month with my car not in use and a credit card dispute filed, they ended up asking for the part to shipped back to them for which they would charge me a 35% restocking fee. The worst customer service out of all the car parts stores I've worked with on my exotics.

Nothing through them was worth me waiting 2 weeks for an appointment, dropping the car off, renting a car for 2 days and then returning to be told they didn't do anything. There wasn't even really an apology to me, he seemed more pissed that he couldn't sell me the product and make money, almost like it was my fault he failed to research what he was selling. Finally I dont know why hes gotta lie but saying they didn't remove the exhaust to swap the rear sway bar??? But somehow it also took 3 hours of labor??? He didn't want to take responsibility for my exhaust when he had the car in the shop, only after i left and told him it wasnt right, bullshit man. What an absolute horrible experience and a total waste of my time and money.

Specifically in the span of this past month, after it stalled while I was driving it, I went through 8 mechanics who either refused service, didn't have the right tools, or just simply didn't know what to do with it. Thankfully Chris at Pinpoint was the 9th (and final) mechanic. Chris and George were both competent, kind, and communicative every step of the way. They treated me respectfully and Chris was dedicated to finding and fixing the problem properly - he even notified me that the ECU I had installed by a previous shop had likely been stripped from a junkyard vehicle (that shop had charged me full price and neglected to tell me it wasn't a new part). When all was said and done, I was charged very fairly for both the parts and labor. I definitely would recommend this shop, and I will personally be coming back the next time my truck needs work done as well. Huge thanks to Chris and George

From the beginning, they approached the problem methodically instead of guessing. They diagnosed an intermittent electrical short that another shop had completely missed despite keeping my vehicle for over two weeks and recommending nearly $7,500 in unnecessary repairs. Auto Electric Repair located the actual problem, explained exactly what they found, repaired the damaged wiring, and had my vehicle back to me the very next day. Every issue was fixed, including my power windows, door locks, and air conditioning. What impressed me most was their troubleshooting process. Instead of replacing expensive parts, they took the time to find the root cause. Their professionalism, communication, and technical ability were outstanding. If you have a difficult electrical issue, I would trust this shop without hesitation.

I initially had a good experience with Michael…read more I was excited to find a nearby place that could install a stereo screen in my 2004 Honda CR-V. Michael assured me that if I ever had any issues or needed assistance after the installation, I could simply reach out to him and he would help. That gave me confidence in doing business with him. On April 15, I purchased the stereo and paid approximately $400-$470 for the unit and installation. Michael told me he had everything needed to complete the installation that same day. After about an hour to an hour and a half, he informed me that he did not have the trim piece (the border that surrounds the screen). He said he could order it for an additional $40. Since I didn't want my new stereo left unfinished, I paid the extra $40 with the understanding that he would contact me as soon as the part arrived. Unfortunately, that never happened. Over the following months, both my boyfriend and I repeatedly reached out by phone and message to ask about the missing trim piece. I have a history of phone calls and messages showing my repeated attempts to contact Michael and get this resolved. Each time, he would tell me he would "update me when it arrived" or "give me a call," but he never followed through. At times, it genuinely felt like I was being given excuse after excuse instead of seeing any real effort to resolve the issue. Not only was I still waiting on the trim piece I had already paid for, but after the installation, I also noticed that a wire had come loose underneath my driver's footwell. This was never an issue before the stereo was installed. I informed Michael and he gave me a date to come in. I was already on my way to his store when I texted him I was almost there. Only then did he respond, saying that "something snapped" in his back and that he couldn't make it. I completely understand that emergencies happen. However, if he knew he couldn't make the appointment, I would have appreciated a phone call or text as soon as possible instead of waiting until I had already started driving there. That lack of communication was extremely frustrating and showed little regard for my time. I strongly believe that if you make a promise to a customer, you should keep it. Reliability and communication are essential. When customers spend hundreds of dollars, they deserve honesty and follow-through. After months of trying to get this resolved, Michael finally gave me another date to come into his car stereo store. I arrived before our scheduled appointment, only to call and find out he was running late. I waited approximately 15-25 minutes past our agreed time before he arrived. Once he began working on my vehicle, about 20 minutes later he informed me that he had accidentally broken one of the plastic clips inside my dashboard. He told me he would have to order another replacement piece and, once again, assured me that he would let me know when it arrived. Just like before, I never heard from him. As you can see in the photo attached to this review, the missing trim piece is very noticeable. This isn't a minor cosmetic detail--it is an unfinished installation that I paid an additional $40 for and still have not received months later. I gave Michael multiple opportunities to make this right. Every time I reached out, I patiently waited a week, two weeks, and sometimes even an entire month hoping he would follow through with a call, text, or even a simple update. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly initiate contact while receiving false promises. My car is still missing the trim piece that I paid for, I still have concerns regarding the loose wire from the installation, and I have spent months trying to resolve a simple issue. What disappoints are the repeated promises that were never honored and the lack of communication after payment had already been made. Based on my experience, I don't recommend doing business with Michael. I sincerely hope he improves his customer service, communication, and follow-through so future customers don't have the same experience I did.
