    Pepperoni pizza (thin crust style)

Long hallway walking up to the bar with a few booths. Approximately 20 bar seats. Next to the bar there are 4-person high tops that could probably be pushed together if you had a larger group and it wasn't busy. Most chairs have backs but some are just cushioned stools. When the bar filled up a few were able to use those stools to add a seat or two to the bar area. Arrived around 4:30 on a Friday. They scan everyone's IDs. It became a little unclear sitting at a high top whether a waitress would come or not. A table behind us ended up leaving because no one came to them (even after it was clear waitresses were on duty.). Luckily our bartender was great and she just continued serving us because the one waitress went past several times without asking. It was fully packed by 6. Definitely a neighborhood bar type of vibe and you could tell some of the bar patrons knew each other. Knowing how smokey the prior bar was, this place is now non-smoking and you can't really tell it was previously smoking. Onesie bathrooms. Pizzas are thin crust style which is clear on the menu. They have both a food and drink special each day which is nice. Their ranch seemed homemade and was great! Originally they forgot the sour cream for the quesadilla but made eye contact with the bartender and she brought it over quickly. Hopefully they can figure out which waitress/bartender has what table so they don't lose additional patrons. Someone, maybe a manager or owner did come by to ask how the food was, which in my opinion is important to a restaurant overall, but especially in the early days. Overall, would return! I want to try their smashburgers next. Would rate a 4.5 if yelp would let me.

This is the amount of roast beef on the roast beef sandwich...and NOTHING else. No horseradish.

Saw this place in Yelp and wanted to eat before driving home. It is a rather unassuming storefront,…read moredirectly across from a micro hotel and near several other eateries. The menu is pretty standard pizza shop fare - pizza, burgers, Stromboli, etc. We were intrigued with the Grandma's Pizza offerings and decided on the Trio - with one-third Cheese Lover, one-third Margarita, and one-third Meat Lover. This is a rectangular pie with three slices of each. The price seemed a little steep, but it's pretty common these days to pay $15 a person for a meal. The counter man informed us it would be 30 minutes. I appreciated the head-up, but we had no where to go...and it meant the pizza was being made fresh! It was actually done in about 20 minutes. Gorgeous to look at, and loaded down with toppings. There was no skimping here. The edges of the pie were crispy without being crunchy, and the dough underneath was soft but still could stand up to the weight of the toppings. Somewhat reminiscent of a Detroit-style pizza, but leaner and, IMO, tastier. We are half the pie, trying each type and packed the rest for home. I expect it will reheat well. Total with drinks was around $30. You could feed a family of four on this pie. Excellent!

Called ahead to see if they sold only whole pies or also pizza by the slice since it was just me…read morefor dinner. They confirmed they sold it by the slice so I drove over. When I got there, there was a single slice of dried up cheese pizza sitting on the top of the counter. It looked like it'd been there for days, all dried up and starting to curl. Not even under a heat lamp. They told me that was it and they weren't making anymore for the day. I just left. Wish they'd have told me "We do, but we're out and not making more today" and saved me the trip. Did they really think someone was going to actually pay for old dried up slice?
