    Drinking delicious milkshake
    Tom M.

The milkshakes were great. Can't wait to come back and try a delicious burger. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Facility is very clean and nice.

I waited for the hype of opening week to die down some. Went in as they opened and still had to wait a bit for fresh food prep. Place is shiny and. New and clean. Burger small for a "double" and it was ok. Needed seasoning but I like that classic comes with onion, ketchup and pickle slices! Fries aren't awful but disappointing. Like miniature McDs but mine were cold and not fresh

Food was good, milkshakes were outstanding. Only downfall is when it's super busy the double line that wraps around the building gets pretty chaotic. If you aren't careful you risk curb rashing your rims or hitting someone if you have anything bigger then a small suv. Rush hours are around noon and 5-6. If you are wanting something rather small I'd suggest waiting. Waited 1hr 30 min to order at the drive thru And another 10 min to get our order. Great staff great people just need your patient pants on.

However, we realized…read morethere was going to be some interesting developments when the server came by and he seemed a little nervous, but that's understandable. In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.

Absolutely not! I wanted to love this place, loved the name and the location up on the hill but…read moredang, it was anything but enjoyable! I'm giving two stars for hubby's burger and our server/bartender, she seemed new and was friendly and nice. We sat at the bar so were served right away which is a plus, hard to ignore people right in front of you! The food and the manager are what ruined it for me. We started with the "World Famous" crab dip. I asked to sub the pretzels for tortilla chips due to gluten intolerance and was told the chips are made in house so may be cross contaminated in the oil. Looking forward to fresh chips I said no problem! Oh my, the chips were anything but fresh! Very stale, some actually chewy and most just bland and tasteless. No way the crab dip is famous, it was basically cheese with some canned crab tossed on top. Hubby's Spicy Jack burger was great, especially with the added smash patty from my burger! The smash burger is probably good as well, it was the gluten free hockey puck that completely ruined it for me. Yes, I told our server who then told the manager who then came to verify it was hard as a rock who then shook his head and walked away. The server was very apologetic and said she would take the $2.00 charge for the bun off our bill. Great, I'm okay with that! She didn't know how so here comes the manager again, hits some keys and hands us our tab. He put "DIDN'T LIKE", in caps, as the reason for the "Manager Comp". WHAT? Unacceptable!

I ordered Double cheese Burger with drink and fries - $9 Ordering experience and the staff: The staff are friendly. My only thing is I hope the people working with food would wear a mask or something. They are talking and laughing while flipping burgers which is not nice and not sanitary. The burger: Below average. It has so much grease in it. I feel like I ate two days worth of recommended fat value in one burger. The beef is OK not the best. The fries: It's the worst fries I've ever tried in my life. It's not crispy what so ever. It's dripping oil. I couldn't finish it. The drink: I ordered a coke with no ice. It very diluted. But it wasn't that bad. I don't recommend it. There are tons of better burger places in town.

As much as I want to like this place, I just can't. If you're considering pulling off the main road to eat on the WVU campus, don't. The food is okay. It seems like it has potential but I just don't like it. The barbecue can be dry, like today's brisket was. At $4.50, I'm trying to decide if I had a good deal, but I'm still hungry. Would I have purchased two for $9.00? I don't think so. The portions are just wrong. Too many fries. Also, if you don't mind a half-pound of grease, then the cheeseburger is your friend. Small friend. Ultimately it's another enterprise that takes advantage of university meal plan lock-ins and other college students who don't have enough life experience to recognize that better food can be had for less elsewhere.
