My husband and I visited your restaurant with another couple today for lunch, the food was good and the prices were fair, but we were most impressed with our server Aniya. (We did have to have her spell her name twice to get the spelling lol). She was very thorough, went thru everything to make sure it was correct before she ordered it, came back several times to check on us, kept our table clean and was very friendly. Had dinner here with my family and was unexpectedly pleased with what I ordered. Me and my mom had the towoomba salmon which we both wholeheartedly enjoyed. My husband enjoyed his prime rib which he felt was cooked perfectly. The servings were big as well. I did enjoy that the sides were seasoned very well and not bland. Just ordered through Uber eats. Absolutely terrible. Prime rib sandwich had a hair in it. The prime rib was really dried out. Ordered loaded mashed potatoes. Got a scoop of dried out potatoes that I couldn't eat. Tried the Mac and cheese but there was so much pepper and it was so dry I couldn't eat it. Side salad came with a 1/2 empty side of dressing. No bread or butter either. I had ordered delivery from here before and it was okay. Will never do it again. Did send a review through the company website. This place deserves a NO STAR! We ordered a to go order through curbside pickup. I arrived on the time they said the food will be ready. Ended up waiting 20 extra minutes. When I got home, found out I was missing an item from my order. On top of that, chicken tenders and the blooming onion were burnt. I called them back and told them I am on my way back to get the missing item and replacements. I waited extra 20 mins for the food. And none of the staff apologize for their mistakes. Not until I requested to speak with the manager. This will be the last time I am ordering from this place. In terms of turn around from order to table - worst I have experienced in quite awhile. Stopped here for a lunch coming through from Morgantown. Came by during lunch hours (12:30p) with 3 other tables in the place and two of which already with their meals. Ordered a water and then a lunch combo (salad, 2 chicken tacos) and of course bread came with the meal. In the time it took for the food to come out - mind you TWO CHICKEN TACOS, we nearly lived a Parable by putting away about 7 loaves of bread. The tacos came out in 47 minutes. NO SIDES, NO SPECIAL REQUESTS, TWO TACOS. And not to mention our waiter had something in common with us - both out to lunch. In addition to the poor experience, the tacos were about as pitiful looking as possible. Two small pieces of chicken, and ZERO PROMISED HERB AIOLI. What a nightmare. Asked for sour cream - took 10 minutes to receive. So to recap - I spent over an hour of my life, that I'll never get back, to polish of a small colony of bread loaves, dry and anorexic tacos, and deal with poor service. Since I was still hungry from that mammoth meal, I decided against dessert - seeing as by my calculation I would have been still there waiting on it to come out and in turn ready and hungry for the dinner crowd. I wish I could give them no stars. My wife and I ordered the Valentines Day special to go. I understand Valentines Day is a busy day for restaurants. Even considering that, there is no way it should have taken nearly two hours for my meals to be ready. By the time my wife called to find out what happened and a staff member came out to speak to me, he admitted when he gave me the food that it had been sitting for a while. When I went home and opened our containers (we live 2 miles away) the food was stone cold. I sent an email up for a review and was called by the store manager. After hearing what happened he apologized, asked for my address and said he would be sending us vouchers for two free meals. That was on Feb 16th of 2021. Today is Aug 28th 2021 and we have yet to receive anything. So not only did they screw up our meals, they lied to us about how they were going to make it right. Have always loved Outback at other locations, so decided to give this one a try while we were in the area. HUGE MISTAKE. We arrived around 2:30 and there was barely any patrons. That should have been our first clue, but it was considered early for dinner service and late for lunch service. Once seated our server took a longer than normal time to come greet us (guessing 5+ minutes, despite a near empty restaurant) and get our drink order. We immediately placed an order for their blooming onion, and a kids fry for our son. Both me and my husband ordered the filet and lobster tail meal. The food was served in a timely manner, but not once did our server check back for any issues/needs. The lobster tails were the only item ordered that was truly good. The blooming onion was seemingly over fried. Both filets were tasteless, as if no seasoning at all was used. The mashed potatoes were a dry lump that appeared to have been scooped with an ice cream dipper. Cup of potato soup was bland and watery. My son did seem to enjoy his fries, but then again, what 1 year old doesn't love fries? To top it all off, the restaurant was FILTHY. Tables next to us remained unbussed for the duration of our visit, and the bathroom was horrifying. The bathroom itself was very dimly lit, with paper towels strewn about, a strange "chemical" odor from the hand soap, and the toilet paper wasn't even on a dispenser. Just set on top of one. We will never return to this establishment, and I'd recommend others to save their $80+ and choose somewhere else. My complaint is the food here : Quality and value. My wife's salad was about half the size of an Applebees salad (and about half as good). $13? The blue cheese vinaigrette dressing was an odd green color. My $27 "Porterhouse" was barely edible. It was tough throughout, and I was only able to eat half of it, maybe. The crabcakes were weak, though the coleslaw was ok. My wife is sick on the couch as I write this. Golden Corral quality at double (or more) the price. I won't be back to an Outback. read more

We used to eat at or from Outback several times a month. However, we ordered takeout on 12/21/20 from store 4962 which included two orders of cheese fries. We requested no bacon, but they were both liberally sprinkled with small pieces of bacon which couldn't possibly be removed and had to be thrown out. I wrote an email regarding the situation and heard back from Justin Friend, who requested the receipt info. I supplied that info and followed up twice with the situation, and was completely ignored. I simply wanted either a refund or a guarantee of receiving the food on a future visit for which we paid. Outback has regularly made small mistakes with curbside pickup, but we have never reached out about it before. However, that was the last time we will ever eat there - we have not gone back since. read more

i placed an online order for curbside pickup on friday, november 3rd. it was scheduled for pick up at 5:05pm. i waited until 5:25pm...still no curbside delivery of the order. i made a call the restaurant at 5:30 regarding the order. i spoke to take-out. "we will be bringing your order out to you, mam". five minutes later, at 5:32 the order is finally delivered to my car. at 10:30 pm i get a phone call on my cell phone from the outback. it was a young girl wondering why i didn't leave the curb-side a tip. i couldn't believe it! from this day forward, i will never ever patronize the outback at venture drive. morgantown, wv 26508 again! p.s. the food was horrible! the salmon was not cooked properly, the coconut shrimp was soaked in grease and for the sweet potatoe, i got a pat of butter the size of the nail on my pinky finger! i hope whoever called me at my residence...gets fired! read more

If I could pick my last meal here on earth it would be Outback Steakhouse. Yes, we've been disappointed a few times here, but overall it's still my favorite place to eat. We've celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries here. We've also been here when it's just 2 or 3 of us. The place has always been clean. The wait has never been over 30 minutes. We visited tonight and ordered as soon as we came in. We sat in the bar playing on our phones talking to family texting others... not paying a single mind to what was going on as far as good times. Tyler the Manager walked up to apologize for our appetizer taking so long. He also took it off of our meal for the inconvenience..... which to us there wasn't any! Had a lovely girl seat us and made the whole meal quite nice. The only complaint I have is the same with all Outbacks. The way the cut their steaks makes it difficult to cut and eat. They are so thick you really need to fillet them in half then cut and eat them. The problem with this is that you really have to like a range of doneness. I ordered mine Medium Rare. This translated into Medium on the outside, Medium Rare a quarter of the way through and Rare in the middle. I know about this and I don't mind a Rare steak now and again. We ate early and so there was no wait. This is always nice and colors a review a little more rosy than it would normally be. All and all we had a great time. goodness. i was so excited to grab outback while i was in town for an appointment. i'm not going to complain about the 40 minute wait for a salad and a potato on curbside... i'm going to complain that i waited over thirty minutes past the ready time watching cars pull in and out around me only to finally get my food and halfway across town before i realized that gave me a PINCH on brown sugar for my potato. a pinch. There was a giant hair stuck in the lid and i'm not even mad about that, i just wish i had as much brown sugar as i did hair. a teaspoon would have been good, perfect even.. for a whole potato, but a PINCH? Let's see, I called ahead 25 minutes early. I arrived, and they didn't have it set up in the system or any information. So I had to wait to get in to eat. We sat down, and immediately ordered an appetizer which we get, but the waiter never comes back to take our order so we waited a really long time to order. We order our food and get it after a long wait, even with the place not being that busy. The food we received was incorrect and my steak was inedible! They put so many spices on the steak that it burned my tongue when eating it. It was awful! Worst experience, I've ever had at an Outback Steakhouse! Never going back, ever! read more
