The food was mediocre. Yes, the fries were soggy - but I like the flavor. The sandwich was mashed and the mayonnaise was on the outside of the bread - not inside on the meat. The service is good. Never had bad food. But the tables are never clean. They always feel sticky. The floor feels like it has grease on it. I'm always scared I'm going to slip and fall. The dining room really needs a good cleaning. Man I sure hope they clean the kitchen area better. read more

My husband and i went to eat at 8:00 pm on a Friday night, we were they only people there. We drove up and 3 people were smoking outside right where drive thru starts. I don't any serious complaints about the food. It is over priced for what you get. My biggest complaint is how there is no accountability of the staff. The times that we have been there the staff all goes outside and smokes and goofs off. There is NO Management. It seems like the requirement to work at Steak Escape is that you must still be in high school. Food was pretty good. The menu is enormous and took a little while to decide on what to try. One neat thing was if you omitted anything (condiments, etc.) the employee that was assembling each sandwich would ask if you had an allergy. I found this unique and very considerate. We went to Steak Escape today, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 5:30 pm thru the drive thru to order the $6.99 7 in steak sub, fry, & drink combo that was on their sign on the road in front of their store. When we placed our order at the speaker we were told that that was not the special anymore that it was chicken. So I proceeded to tell them that their sign still had the steak combo on it. The woman proceeded to tell me that they had just not taking their sign down that it was not on sale anymore that it was the chicken. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere!
