    Baked Key Lime Alaska

High end steak house in the W. Service excellent in this steak house although we did not have beef that night . We had the chilled seafood platter for two , soups (Lobster Bisque, French Onion), and Caesar salad instead. Also had a really good Baked Key Lime Alaska dessert with Raspberry Sauce (very good - get this) Nice decor with a large aquarium containing mesmerizing jellyfish at the entrance.

I was surprised with how much I loved this place. I did not have a reservation on a sunday night but was sat outside immediately. The server was extremely kind. The complimentary pop-over was a PLUS and the chicken entree was phenomenal. Pricey but totally worth it. Will be dreaming of that chicken for a while!!!

We had an amazing dinner at Steak 954. Our waiter was super attentive and the hostess was very friendly. Great spot for dinner with friends, family, or even a romantic date night. For appetizers we ordered the scallops, crab cake, and hamachi. Everything was incredibly fresh. The crab cake was excellent and not overly breaded, which I really appreciated. For my entrée, I had the sea bass and it was perfectly cooked, so buttery and flavorful. My only complaint is that the sauce underneath was a bit salty for my taste. The truffle au gratin potatoes were absolutely delicious and a must-order. Overall, a great dining experience with fresh seafood and standout sides.

We were evaluating where to have our birthday steak dinner on a Saturday night in Fort Lauderdale (friends from NY came down for the weekend) and since the food itself is our biggest priority, more than any other factors, this seemed to be the spot to go. While other places had higher ratings due to other factors like ambiance or service accommodations, the quality of the food experience here seemed to be what was carrying the top scores -- so we pulled the trigger on it. The 3 best things about this experience: - the steak was phenomenal - the popover bread was unique and delicious - our server Stacey was amazing (personable, brought good vibes and energy, and brought out birthday cupcakes) The 3 worst things about this experience: - they were all out of ribeye (which is the reason we came...) - at first (until we asked to move) they stuck us (5 people) (4 grown men) in a corner where our legs were bumping into each other and the table - it was hot inside Now those who follow my yelps know I consider all factors into ratings, and the expectation of a nice steakhouse is pretty high. The entire meal was overshadowed by the fact that we came there specifically over other places with the intent on getting the ribeye. To be out of stock is crazy, but then to suggest we just pay $50 more for the waygu ribeye is audacious. If you don't have the ribeye, and we made it known, perhaps offer a discount on the wagyu for the inconvenience. Or something. 3 is the group ended up just paying the upcharge since there was no alternative option; and two of us ended up having to down size to the 8oz cap as the step up was more than what we planned on. Also, see picture... to have any beverage at this type of place not filled to the top is wild. That's just experience 101 level stuff. Also, you gotta have that AC blasting when people are stuffing their faces with steak... the meat sweats are real. Now even though the experience was dampered, I can't deny that everything was delicious. The food itself definitely carries the weight of holding these Yelp reviews in the 4s. So on that alone, if you're a foodie it can't be denied... if you're more into all the other aspects, just lower your expectations. Espresso martini was delicious too. And yes, we did get to sit by the jellyfish which was cool.

This place deserves much more than 5 stars. It was by far the best dining experience I've had this year. We celebrated an anniversary dinner and were vacationing from out of town. We stumbled on Steak 954 as we were looking for a classy dinner out in Fort Lauderdale with an ocean view - nailed it! We came on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was not too busy. Outdoor seating is first come first serve, which we did not have a problem with at all. The view was BEAUTIFUL. Our server was Bri - she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very comfortable for a nice night out. We each got drinks (Margarita & Moscow Mule) which were out fast and very good. The bread & butter served was a nice addition - we devoured it while we had our drinks! Bri did a great job to not "rush" us, everything came out in an orderly fashion and we got to enjoy each course with time to converse. Many places these days throw all the courses at you at once! She did a wonderful job spacing things out. For our appetizer we ordered the American Wagyu Sliders. These did not disappoint and was one of the best apps we've ever had. They serve two sliders (they look like high end crabby patties lol) with Wagyu. One slider had tomato and red onions, the other had cheese and mushroom. Do yourself a favor and try this! We came here solely for a good steak dinner - I ordered the 8oz Filet Mignon and my date ordered the 18oz Ribeye. We split the side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes (which was a special). It was a good portion to split with each other. Our steaks were cooked perfectly - Filet (Medium) & Ribeye (Medium Rare). The best part of the steak was the charred and seasoned top. It added so much flavor and not many places grill them like this!! We had an incredible time here at Steak 954. It was the perfect dinner to a great vacation.

It's was a queen's birthday and what better way to celebrate. A good dinner is at the top of the list. Excellent spot for a date night. The food was a 10/10. Our server Sidney was exceptional. Everything was perfect, not one complaint. The view of the ocean without being outside was also excellent. Now the food. - Amazing bread service - sea bass was phenomenal Mac n - superb - on point Highly recommended this spot!!!

How this doesn't have 5 starts is ridiculous. It was one of the best meals I have had in a while from service to the food. The house made bread called a POPOVER was something I would come back for alone. A cross between a croissant and a Dutch baby you just have to try it to understand. The crisp slightly less buttery exterior resembles a croissant while the soft doughy and fluffy but slighter sweeter interior mirrors a Dutch baby. The appetizers were bursting with flavor. The HIMACHI CRUDO was beautiful, fresh, delicate and bursting with flavor. White the SEARED SCALLOPS were perfectly crisped and soft while contrasted by all the right crunchy and creamy textures and unexpected flavors. It was an art and clearly intentional hitting the mark on flavor, texture, and presentation. The SIRLOIN CAP we ordered was a perfect medium with a crisped and flavorful exterior. It showcases the clean delicate and less gamey side of a filet mignon with the fatty juiciness of a ribeye. It's the best of both worlds. Dessert the key lime flambé was on fire in flavors. (not literally) it was bursting with tart flavor sweetness and a variety of textures. From the soft pillowy creamy torched exterior to the crunchy brown sugary graham cracker base. It was delightful. Finished off with one more round of bread because it was just too good especially with the butter and flakey salt. One of the best meals I have had in a while.

Had dinner here for my birthday and was not disappointed. Service was great, ambience overall was nice. A bit loud. The food, 10/10. Delicious and great portions.

My meal here was one of the highlights of a short weekend getaway to Fort Lauderdale. I came in for an early solo dinner on a Sunday night which worked out great because there were no obstructions for taking pics of the jellyfish tank. My server Tony was even awesome enough to take some photos of me! I started w the hamachi crudo which was honestly too pretty to eat- but don't worry-- I pushed through. The pop over bread they brought over was amaaazing. Clearly fresh out of the oven. I got an 8 oz filet, which while cooked perfectly, was, I'm sorry to say, a little disappointing. The texture was less buttery and tender than I was hoping for. I decided to add on the potatoes gratin, which was an excellent decision... enjoyed them even more the morning after. Overall the meal + 3 glasses of wine + tax/tip came out to about $195 which was a lot but a delightful birthday treat. Down a star for the disappointing filet.

We walked from the Four Seasons and it was worth every penny and every step. We enjoyed our steak dinner and our server was just amazing. Ambiance was exactly why I selected this restaurant! We sat outside and enjoyed the ocean view. Stop in and experience it for yourself!

Let's begin with the excellent service! Every single person did their part and was very friendly. We sat outside which was nice so not sure about the ambiance inside. But let's talk food! The popover bread was incredible. Buttery, flakey! Eat it warm as soon as it is placed on your plate. Seared scallops were an explosion of flavor! Not your typical butter and garlic. Highly recommend. Hamachi crudo was so fresh and bright. The right amount of acid and spice with the thinly sliced jalapeños! Absolutely delicious! Salad was needed and refeshing. I love all the fine chopped vegi's and I always get dressing on the side. The sirloin cap is pricey but well worth it. Get it medium so that it is properly crusted. Appreciated the tip from the waiter and it was amazing. Adding the lobster made for a great surf and turf! Last but not least the baked Alaska. Wow! Great tart keylime flavor with sweet crust and torched marshmallows. The berry sauce is tart also, so if you want a sweeter bite, ask for the sauce on the side. This was a perfect meal!

Loved our dinner at Steak 954! The place is super nice and the jellyfish tank at the front is such a cool touch. We came with a group of 10 and the service was amazing from start to finish. We had a pre-fixe menu with tons of food. The tuna tartare was super fresh, the wedge salad had just the right amount of dressing, and the popovers (instead of regular bread) were a fun and tasty surprise--especially with that soft butter! Also definitely try the lobster bisque it was perfection and I usually don't like it. I had the sea bass and it was seared perfectly but a little salty. My husband had the filet mignon and it was a great size. Everything was delicious. Definitely recommend this spot for your next event or group dinner!

Like "let's take pictures before we eat because this patio belongs in a lifestyle magazine" gorgeous. Las Olas energy at its finest. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy, and honestly, the food was outstanding. Which is why this hurts. We came for Mother's Day brunch and intentionally avoided rushing over for happy hour pricing because we wanted a relaxed meal. Adult decision. Responsible. Mature. Mistake number one apparently. Started with the charred corn and avocado dip and I need whoever created that dish to be recognized with some sort of civic award. Ridiculously good. One of those appetizers where you immediately start calculating whether licking the bowl in public is socially acceptable. Then came the steak and eggs discussion. My wife and I were both looking at the steak and eggs listed on the menu for $26.75. Our waiter explained that the standard steak was only four ounces and casually suggested upgrading to a six ounce or eight ounce cut instead. Now listen carefully because this is where the plot twists into a financial thriller. At no point during this conversation was pricing for the upgrade mentioned. And shame on me for not asking. That part is absolutely on me. But the suggestion was delivered with the same casual energy as "would you like fries with that?" So I upgraded to the eight ounce. My wife went with the six ounce. She also had a margarita she loved. We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and, as it turns out, accidentally entering a luxury cattle futures market. Then the handheld payment machine arrived. $175. I stared at that screen like it had just informed me my mortgage was due immediately. Turns out those extra six ounces of sirloin between the two plates carried an upcharge that could finance a small fishing boat. Roughly ten dollars an ounce for the upgrade. Somewhere, a Wagyu cow laughed at me from a distance. And look, before anybody jumps in, yes... I should have asked. Lesson learned. But restaurants also know exactly what they're doing when upgrade pricing gets floated around casually without numbers attached. There's a difference between upselling and a sneak attack. Which makes this review frustrating because I genuinely loved almost everything else. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was fantastic. Service was friendly. But nothing tanks the ending of a brunch quite like feeling blindsided by steak math. Pro tip for future diners: If they suggest the upgraded steak, ask the price immediately. Ask twice. Possibly get it notarized. Three stars because I really do want to come back someday. But right now I still feel like I got hit with a reverse happy hour.

For dinner, he got the honey chicken Sammy with sidewinder fries, and I went with the chimmichurri steak frites with curly fries... SO good. Everything came out piping hot, quickly, and you can tell the food and drinks are really thoughtfully crafted. What stood out most, though, was the customer service. The three main staff members Drew, Mel, and Darian (I think?) were incredible. Every single one of them went above and beyond for every guest the entire time. When we arrived, there were just a couple tables outside, but once it started raining, they seamlessly accommodated everyone inside without missing a beat. The vibe is such a cool mix, neighborhood spot meets speakeasy meets tiki with a slightly elevated feel, but still super comfortable. Everyone in the place seemed to know each other or quickly became friends. The music was great, and by 7:30 the live entertainment started, he was funny, engaging, and talented. We got there just in time to catch the tail end of happy hour for our first drink, and from there it just kept getting better. Drew, the bartender, even went out of his way to make me a specialty drink I had seen on Yelp that's no longer on the menu, such a thoughtful touch. By 7:30 on a Wednesday, the place was packed, which says everything. Exceptional service, amazing food, great drinks, and an all around fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll absolutely be back.

The bar and restaurant itself has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. I ordered the tuna appetizer, but unfortunately it just wasn't for me. To their credit, the staff handled it very professionally and took it back without any issue, which I appreciated. The rest of the table had a much better experience with their meals. The steak and salads especially got good reviews from everyone and looked very well prepared. Even though my dish missed the mark, the service and atmosphere were solid enough that I'd still consider giving eTwic another try in the future. Sometimes one item just doesn't hit, and there were definitely enough positives about the restaurant to make me curious to come back and try something different next time. I know that one friend at the table really enjoys this place so I must believe that she has good taste!

The red sauce was average, but the meatball (pork & beef) was large and delicious. The sausage was a full link, also a lot to eat. It was tasty. At $15 this seemed like half price for large portions. It is rare to find service that is this professional yet genuinely warm. The Food Everything we tasted was outstanding, cementing its place as one of the best steakhouses in Miami. We started with the sourdough bread and the tuna tartare which had a perfect spicy touch that woke up the palate. For the main event, the Tomahawk 23oz (perfect for a couple) was a revelation. It was cooked to perfection incredibly juicy with a smoky, slightly crispy exterior. The combination of the volcano salt and their signature tomato sauce on the side elevated the flavor to another level. The sides did not disappoint, either: Lobster Mac and Cheese: Hands down the best I've ever had. Baked Potato: Soft, cheesy, and the ultimate comfort food. Salad: Fresh and a nice accompaniment, though the steak and sides are the true stars. The Grand Finale We ended the night with the chocolate cake. It was rich, delicious, and so massive that we were able to enjoy it the next day (and honestly, the flavor was even better the morning after!). My husband and I enjoyed every single bite. It was one of the best I've ever had, with a perfect Pittsburgh char. The beef was from the DemKota supplier, which I had never heard of. But, a quick Google let me know it is one of the most exclusive and best of meat suppliers. Not many restaurants openly let you know where or from whom they purchase their meats. That is probably for good reasons as you may find out you are eating the same quality of meat from the same supplier to Pubiix, or worse. What I didn't like about Daniel's is that they don't respect reservations. We had reservations but got that old "why don't you have a seat at the bar" routine. All three stars go to Ava. This past Tuesday my family came to Shooters for dinner to celebrate my…read morebirthday. We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

Our server (Daniel? Can't remember unfortunately) was great - he took photos of us when we asked, using our phone and our instax Polaroid which was so sweet, even pulled a sharpie out of his pocket so i could write the place and date on them. i love the way the staff work together as a team, one person might take your order, someone else delivers the food/checks in on you, etc. - we never had to wait long when we needed something. I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.

The bulgogi was fantastic -- a little messy to eat, but absolutely worth it. The lettuce leaves provided were on the small side, making it difficult to load them with both rice and meat, but the flavor more than made up for it. My wife ordered the fish and enjoyed it very much. Keep room for the ice cream rolls, an extra special treat to finish the dinner. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout the meal. If you choose to dine outside, the beach view is beautiful, but be prepared for some wind -- at one point it literally blew my lettuce leaves off the table. One note on parking: valet is $60 if you want your car kept up front, which is the highest valet charge we've experienced. Restaurant validation reduces parking to $17, which is a much better option. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with excellent food, beautiful scenery, and service that would bring us back again.

First we had cosmopolitans at the bar, met some nice people and the bartender was great! We had a great server, his name I believe was Raiden and his work partner, Arthur, both were great, very attentive and helpful! Continued to go through the years mainly on especial occasions always walking away very satisfied. The last two recent times there were not so satisfying as before. Have noticed a decline in all of those same things I loved about Tropical Acres. In particular, the food portions, the ambiance and the overall aesthetic of the restaurant. Service still decent, but not stellar. Food still decent, but not so amazing to justify the prices $$$+. The classy feel and romantic vibe are gone. Feels more like sort of an upsacle diner than the fancy steakhouse restaurant it used to be. After my last visit, have decided perhaps not to visit on a special holiday or occasion and see if it makes any difference to give it another chance (maybe). This restaurant has been one of my top choices for fancy dining and excellent food for a long time and hate to give it up, since there is a lot of competition around for the same type of restaurant.
